You run your stock on the shortest setting? You don't look that short(no offense if you're short). I'm only 5'8" and run mine 1 setting shorter than fully extended.
Considering the controversies with Deadair, I would opt for the Huxwrx flash hider…. For home defense, you should use Critical Defense 223, and you will have no issues as long as you hit liquid target.

i want one of those vortex hueys. got a mild astigmatism. i would rather have the forward assist though. especially on any serious build. other than that id like to check one out soon. ive been on an LMT fix recently

I do love the HUXWRK cans, they just came out right after I applied for my DEADAIR. Also thanks for the ammo tip!
I opted for the keymo adapter for my OCL Polonium K for my blackout defense hybrid muzzle device. Works very well so far.

for a shtf rifle id definitely try to get that forward assist. you could need it for sure in any sketchy weather or environment
