Ok, let's put some context on luffy's body and weapons. The bullets have not affected him until now because in the old days, in those rustic gunpowder pistols, the bullets were round. But we know from Buggy (and also from logic) that rubber can be cut. That's why these sharp-tipped bullets do affect him. What does not affect Luffy are physical impacts (falls, punches, kicks, being hit with a hammer, his knuckles when he hits a wall, etc.) because the rubber absorb/repel the impact.
@@noochee_reacts also fire / explosions. poison. Idk.. starving xD, there are some dangerous things for him. Well, Krieg's explosions were not a big deal but that's not because of luffy's fruit. Thats because this is a shonen and explosions are underpowered in every shonen xD
So to answer something people overlook here at times. So think of your average pirate or marine Don Krige is a strong fighter to people at this point. To an average person he is considered a monster but in the Grandline he is an ant in comparison to Mihawk like zoro fighting him. that's the thing his power is by the use of pride in his armors and weapons those things can cause massive destruction. Luffy is really fortunate his body is rubber and not regular skin or bones even still I think luffy be able to handle this fight he has tons of training to. Imagine if someone like me or you, Usopp or even Nami punched that cape or the spear for that matter. They probably wouldn't even make it up to krige at this point in the series.
That's very true! I realize for the common people Krieg would be untouchable, this makes it even more exciting to reach the grand line when you realize he's nothing there. It's gonna be a fun ride. Thank you for watching!
