He's a genius in terms of battle cause he learn fast how to counter their foes. About the water thing against Crocodile, remember the end of the previous fight against him. When Crocodile grabs him before throw it into the quicksand, he manage to grab and squeeze his arm for a second, cause his hand was full of blood. That could have give him a hint.
Luffy isn’t a dumbass, he just doesn’t bother to think unless it matters to him. On a related note, have you noticed that we have never once seen Luffy’s internal thoughts? We see everyone else’s.
Ah I love how "small" insignificant things like the the Poneglyphs and Pluton are probably forgotten after a few episodes after this arc, but whithout them, as with many other things, the story would probably not unfold unless those things are in there. You probably thinks fans would say that about everything but..... It is like all previous arcs become more important after a time. Everything is snowballing. As I watch this again I see... Also appreciate that watching it with subs you know whats important...their names are written with Capitals ^^ And also shall I, when commenting on this videos! Love your reactions!
Yeah,,, a good way to put it is; "Not it for show, really. Nothing is unreasonably hyped up for no reason. Like the king when talking to Robin about how well she is known and stuff. I feel other anime may just put that dialogue in there to get more screentime and hype only. Not in One piece tho. (sorry to sound like a ludacris, I love other anime as well)
Logias (Like Ace's, Smoker's and Crocodile's) are strong AF because not only do their users 'become' their element, but they can also affect the enviroment around them There's not always a clear "weakness", I think it goes more on the hand that crocodile has trouble shifting his body into sand when there's moisture/water involved. Luffy noticed and so now he's using water so his punches can connect
Glad you picked up on Nico Robins mannerisms. I like to help make the stress build up X3 while watching a show. It makes the pay off feel good, but ye this is a long arc so far. Luffy is really good at fighting.
While I admit I’ve never laughed at Cobra being staked to a wall by his elbows, this series is one that even in the most dramatic moments has something to laugh about. Even Roger laughed at his own execution.
