Known Austin for a long time, and he's still one of the only people that never let the success of his band get to his head. He's still the same dude I met at Clark vfw in 2010. He deserves everything he has.
Ive been a fan of Lorna Shore since Psalms in 2015 and Austin has always blowed my mind as everyone in Lorna Shore, its just mind boggling to hear the music and seeing how far they have come, 10 years already and they are looking better than ever with Will... 2022 was the year of Lorna Shore and I cant wait to see the videos Meinl and Austin did together...
Its crazy to me that Austin is a year younger than me. But, he's my motivation. I've always found drummers that are better and faster than me, then I listen to their music daily, then start attempting to play their music on the drums. I've always tried to challenge myself on the drums. That's how I've gotten where I am, and I owe it all to drummers like Austin, Evgeny Novikov, Lee Stanton, and even the drummers from my younger years like Joey Jordison, The Rev, and James Cassells.
Austin was so nice when i met him in Portland Oregon at a show! He is a big inspiration to me. Got his (and the rest of lorna shore’s) signature on a cymbal of mine.
I wish the old rock/metal community see how the drumming has become one of the hardest things to play in music, especially having exponents as austin,he is a genius (srry for my bad english lol)
They literally have already have done something else is done they brought meaningful lyrics and storytelling into deathcore like never before as well as bring the field with the emotional connection on top of The cinematic sounds it's insaine I've always been a little head with deathcore being my favorite type of metal back in high school 2008 ish but haven't seen one new band that captivated me had me feel something that no other deathcore bands made me feel and pulled me back into the scene as quickly as I can get back

The fact that he likes Nightwish and Wintersun, makes me love him even more! ❤

He's described my youth and journey into Metal. Killswitch Engage was what got me into metal !!
Content like this is awesome. I love behind the scenes stuff like this. That drum playthrough video was also amazing!
