Regarding the Tuberculosis requirement, TB2 says "A valid TB certificate is required if the applicant has been continuously present in a country or countries listed at TB6 for 6 months or more, which includes a period (of any length) within the 6 months before the date of application." Does that mean that if at one time you were in a country listed at TB6 for more than 6 months, but no part of that 6 month period falls within the 6 months before the date of application, that a TB certificate is NOT needed? Or, as you stated in the video, will it be required because the starting position is that it is necessary if the applicant is living in one of the listed countries at the time of application?
I am on an Indefinite leave to remain and live and work in the UK. I have applied for my spouse’s visa and she is outside of the UK. Her appointment is in a week. Do you suggest I upload documents online rather than get her to submit them in person at VFS with assistance there? Also, does she need a good standing or police clearance certificate from home country now for the visa appointment or later on? Thanks
For applications outside of the UK, is there any requirement that the copies of the documents have to have notary note with Apostille? Asking mainy in regards to the passport copy of the sponsor's bio page (partner who is not a UK citizen but a EU settled status resident). I didn't see any information that we need to make the copies 'certified,' even though some Immigration forums state that documents need to have apostille on them? From your experience, is that even a thing? Would it be a failure if the scan of the passport is just like that, a pdf scan without any stamps to confirm it is authentic? Same with mariage certificate and other out of UK documents.
It's interesting that I needed to go under Category B even though I'm employed for 3 years now. I needed to do this as I switched jobs 4 months ago and thus was asked to provide payslips for the previous 12 months. So Category A for salaried employment only applies if you are in the SAME job for the past 6 months. Else, you'll need to provide evidence of 12 months payslips. It was an unpleasant surprise for me so a heads up...
If first applied for Visitor VISA and gets approved, then we decide after 2 months to apply for the Family VISA (from outside the UK). There is the option to pay extra and keep the passport. Would it be possible to travel back to UK while the decision is pending (as the Visitor VISA is still valid), or the application for the Family VISA basically invalidates the Visitor VISA at that point?
This video is very informative. Thanks for taking out time to do this. My question is as a sponsor living in the UK can I complete the online form and upload documents on behalf of my partner?
Can we combine income from two jobs? My husband has worked at this full time job for 7 months and part time job for 3 months to make £29,000. Do we have to wait until we have 6 months worth of payslip from both jobs or can we submit 6 months from the full time job and 3 months from part time?

I moved to the uk through an agent. I'm a care worker in the uk. Am planning to bring my partner but discover that my agent used my details and brought a fake dependent without my knowledge. What can I do in this situation? Am fuckedd up
Hi there! Can the spouse of the UK person use their self-employment income as a way to satisfy the requirement? Right now we are living abroad looking to come to the UK, but my British spouse doesn't have an income but I do through self-employment.
Hi @anon-pn1kt, Applicants (i.e., non-UK partners) cannot include their self-employment income for out-of-country partner visa applications I'm afraid. They can, however, include their non-employment income (such as property rental income), cash savings or pension income. Best regards, The Migrate.org.uk team.

Hello. Does anyone have info in how I can prove my knowledge in English language? I am German and I am destitute as of know and desperate to join my longterm unmarried British fiancé in the UK but I am in no shape to pay 300€ to travel to Berlin to undergo the Selts test. It's too expensive but I do have German equivalent of a-levels and went trough German Abitur succsessfully having way more english knowledge than the average german. Does anyone have any advice?
Unfortunately is like this, and before to do it they will search you, scan you, look behind your ears, look inside your clothes, in uk is less expensive. Plus it's so expensive but it's just 10 minutes
