For fiance visa, can the savings be in the sponsor's individual account (in the UK) and the applicant's individual account (outside UK) and NOT a joint account between them? I haven't found any examples of people doing it this way for entry clearance and am sceptical about the use of 'jointly' alluding to a joint account.
Thank you for this useful video. I am a Master's student applying for a spouse visa for my wife. My bank statement covers the last four months. I had new bank account I opened after I arrived, but I have maintained the required amount of money in my account for the last 28 days as per the rules. Would you like me to submit the full four months of transactions, or is it enough to provide the bank statement showing just the 28 days? Also, will the four-month bank statement affect her visa decision in any way? Thank you
I still find this complicated. Say I have 30000GBP as savings. I minus this by 16000 and then divide by 2.5 that will be 5,600. What will be my cash savings required?
Can you make video explaining about nhs workers who wants to bring their spouse to the uk, what are the changes, does nhs workers affected by all these changes? Please thank you.
The cash savings figures have recently increased. The minimum amount is now £88,500. The government have said they will increase this over time but with the upcoming election this may change. If you are working then you can combine salary and savings. But it’s best to seek advice on this.
@@Ginger-Tom13 No, it depends on which financial requirement they have to meet. And looking at his question it is probably the one from BEFORE the increase.

the visa website will tell you what the minimum cash savings amount is, and you have to hold that figure or more.
Does salary sacrifice for pension affect your calculation for salaried workers who earn income monthly?

My wife is on spouse visa and we will do first extension next year. So, I assume (and hope) that the cash savings requirement will still be £62,500?
