I am a stay at home dad for our seventeen-year-old son, who has C3 hair. I am Caucasian (pale and Danish 😉), my wife is Kenyan (Black first-generation American), which makes our son "half/half," but boy oh boy does he have great looking hair (when we stay on-top of things 😅)! However, I got really sick these past three weaks, not able to keep things down (due to a break down of my abdomen, because I lost my abdominal wall from Cancer four-years-ago), and my wife (who is a HR Director) has been stuck doing late evenings and is exhausted, so I am proudly on hair duties (que the sawn of man music)! Anyways, been watching your videos for a bit, and I will say, this one is really helpful today, so thank you so very much 😊. I just got done with the comb-out and secrioned before watching your video, now I know how to "clean-up" his ends, since it has been awhile doing his hair, so sadly we got some split ends tontake care of 😅. Thank you again, love your videos, especially this one, can't wait to show my wife the video too. Have a great day and thank you for your willingness to teach others like myself ❤
It’s not supposed to look much different. Just supposed to help the health and help the continuity while emphasizing the best techniques for that hair type
my gf is entrusting me with her hair so I'm on YT Uni learning 😅 I've done my curls, locks and waves but this will be my biggest challenge! great video
Just a tip! If cutting dark hair on video it will be helpful to use a light cape so its more clear for the viewer to see the difference after cutting sections.
thank you for this, so refreshing to see a tutorial where the hair wasn't professionally pre-styled, "faerie-knots" and all :) this is exactly what we are dealing with IRL!
I have so much curl shrinkage and breakage at the nape of my neck. I try to give extra love (and conditioner) to the nape and wear half up/half down vs ponytails but I still have so much breakage and frizz there. The disconnect between my nape level of hair and the next is about 4” (when dry). It makes it so hard to get length on my hair! Any tips are welcome!!
Hello, do you have any advice for first time cutting our 3 year lod curly hair? We don't want hin to lose his curls, but they all keep saying that this always happens. Thank you!
The frizz is definitely coming from the fact that she has to handle the hair and not style it while she’s cutting. Curly hair will always look frizzy after it’s been handled, but you can see at the end of the video that after it’s been hydrated and styled, her curls look stronger and healthier than before without sacrificing her length! 😊
Interesting, but leaving out all the shorter pieces never eliminates the breakage there. Would have liked to see how to trim all the hair lengths so that it stays healthy & not splitting up.
This is a helpful tutorial for me so I can cut my 11 and 17 year Olds hair my 11 year Olds hair is like this but the curls are a bit tighter. She repeated her self way too many times though way too much talking idk how many times I heard her talk about cutting the curls where they live 😂 I will admit that's the mistake I did make a few times on my daughter's hair I would stretch out the curls and cut them instead of letting it shrink back first so her hair was so much shorter when I just trimmed about a half an inch off the dead ends and pieces I thought were longer than the rest it was a big mistake and it is definitely true a small amount will make a huge difference
I’m so happy to see someone with my hair texture as a model. You did great!
Thank you so much for the kind words and for watching our video!
this video was extremely helpful. Ive used this method on a few clients and I LOVE the results. I would love to see how you get into layering the hair
So glad this was helpful Lacey! Thanks for watching! ❤️

What kind of hair type is this? Coz i have the same type of hair but don't know what's it called
I finger comb my hair, I have a wave to my hair but I don’t use a brush because I’d rather work though that knot that rip throw it with a brush.
Thank you 🙏
Thanks for watching Manila! ❤️
I don't see any difference, or maybe even it looks for frizzy after than before :(

very pretty
Thank you, Cris! Cheers!
Why not detangle the hair with a comb?
This is so wholesome to watch. I need a cut like that. Where is your salon located?
Thanks for watching! We recommend visiting your local Kenra salon.

❤❤❤
The before and after look just about exactly the same and both sides are not even to each other.
Good cut. But she talks too much. Too much repeating its distracting 😂
