The 'regular' SOSS hinges do not allow the top face to be lower than flush with the door stock or jamb. I guess 3D adjustable allow this? How nice to have the 3D? The template can be made with a drill and a jig saw. Look around and you will see a two stage jig used in same location by adding pins. The jig in THIS video has limitations when using it on hung door jam stock...even with door jamb stock that is not hung, may have difficulty with this clamping method? This video lacks as it only shows ONE part of the process. Where is part ONE to make the jig, Part TWO to rout the door and part THREE two rout the jamb?
The door frame seems trickier than the door. Can you show that?
Can these hinges be fit into a standard 3/4” jamb with the trimmer stud behind the jamb mortised? Or should they be installed in a 1.5” jamb?
Could you please share how to make such template if I only have this type of hinges?
How can I get the hinges
