I purchased this connector for my 2016 Terrain SLE after reading about all the problems splicing and using a high level signal can cause with the ANC sound system found in these vehicles. In short, it was a life saver. Made hooking into a RCA/low level signal quick and very clean. If you are installing an aftermarket amp in a Terrain or Equinox save yourself the pain and just buy the connector. Save all your time and patience for getting the power wire through the firewall! A tip on that: completely remove the fuse box and cradle it sits in and go through the main grommet. Thanks again to John and his help given!
I just finished my install in my 17 Terrain! It works great. The only problem I encountered was my amp didn't like the signal and went into protect. I just added a LOC at the harness purchased from John and it works great! Didn't have to cut a single factory wire. Thanks for a great product John!
Ordered this for my 2017 Chevrolet Equinox LS and also just finished installing everything today. Works great with the stock head unit, no issues. FYI, anyone trying to feed a 4 gauge power wire through the firewall, follow the hood latch release cord and use that spot.
@@KM-mf1se Interior fuse box, right side center console, under glove box. Think I use the fuse #13 Aux Power Front. Don't own that vehicle anyone, hope that helps. Would suggest getting his audio control if available. With that, you don't need to worry about turn on wire.

The quality of this harness was top notch and was as simple as unplugging connector from stock amp located on driver side above hood release and plugging this harness inline. Bass is clear and clean.

Hey I’m interested in getting this! I spliced rear speaker wires and hooked it up to an LOC. It doesn’t seem to want to keep gain tuning or do anything after I turn the car off and on again. Just got a really nice sub and amp (1250rms Skar EVL 12” with 1200watt rms amp) but I think this is exactly what I need because I can’t find anything online to stop messing with the noise and music itself.
The base factory system uses the rear sub for ANC purposes only. You'll need to add an aftermarket amp and subwoofer to get that thing ringing! No easy shortcuts
In earlier videos you had connected the rca adapters to the clip on the end and said that was the low level input and the clip in the middle was the speaker out group. I'm just confused why you would connect to the speaker out signal for a line level input for amp. I need one of these for my 2017 terrain but one with two rca outs. For sub amp and door speaker amp. Just looking for clarification.
I only use speaker level input for the 2018 and 2019 systems with Bose and non Bose. You were probably looking at the amplifier bypass kit that comes with an additional speaker output harness for all of the doors. Email me at 1pocket73@sbcglobal.net

I thought if you disconnect the factory anc sub it distorts the other speakers, is this true? Do I have to disable the rear mic if so?

Yes you do, this harness does not come with a remote for your amp.
