🙏🙌 Thank you for sharing!! I already have 3 items in my cart. 🖤 Yes, fall/winter essentials would be appreciated too. I’ve recently fallen back in love with running. My husband and I are starting out with 5k this Dec. Building it back up 💪 after 2 recent surgeries.
New to the channel but have been following your journey for some time via other channels. You’re an inspiration for us all! Can you share a little about your post-race recovery process?
Thanks for sharing. Interesting the Zegama 2 built in gaiters. I do almost all my training on the Warburton rail trail and almost every run got a stone in my shoe, and the inevitable question, 'can i tolerate it, yeah-nah' stop, shoe off. For about the last month have been using trail gaiters, made here in Oz and have been stone free since. So those, my old vivoactive 4 and my bone conduction HP = Happy.
I recently tried out the Shokz headphones (now called OpenRun Pro) because my Galaxy Buds keep slipping out of my ears. At first I disliked the reduced sound quality of headphones that aren't in my ear, but they are AMAZING for cycling. They stay rock solid in place, I can hear everything, the controls are easy, and the sound quality is admittedly pretty good considering the design. I am curious if you have multiple pairs for long runs due to battery life.
Loved following your Leadville adventure and recently got the dolphin shorts which are fantastic so thank you for the recommendation! I'm a bit surprised you're sticking with the Zegama 2's though after your Leadville blisters - any thoughts on trying other trail running shoes?
Hi Amanda! Curious about your dolphin shorts: do they ride up in the crotch? I'm a thick thigh gal, and my issue with most shorts is that they ride up in the middle. How do you combat any inner thigh chafing?
They definitely can ride up, it might be something you experience with these. I don’t really deal with a ton of chafing in dryer environments, but I do really like Chamois Butt’r for chafing prevention!! I used that for Ironmans under my kit and it helped a TON!
yes!! here is a link to most of the gear! this link and the link to my amazon fits (to include the shorts mentioned), BPN, and alpine armor will be in the description!
Top 10 essentials for fall/winter season next?
