5:57 this is a long Range weapon for people who can't aim 5:58 this is anti vehicle and does one hit on Players 6:00 this is an emp pistol against vehicles and enemy shields. It is more usefull against vehicles than players (unless you hit every single shot) 6:01 basiclly the same as 6:00 but long range 6:04 on this one i kinda agree but i think its purpose is being something between an ar and a br. It is better at long range than an ar but worse at close. It is better at close Range than an br (unless you have good aim with the br) but worse at long range 6:06 this thing can track enemy Players and vehicles. It is very good against air vehicles. But does also decent damage against Players and warthogs
Thats what you get with gamepass. Notice how it went from most expensive halo ever to redefine shooters blah blah to delay to "its free to play guys". Like they're doing everyone some virtuous favor or something. Yet they can't even have the full multi-player on release. 10 to 1 they'll attempt to sell the rest of the game via map packs, seasonal expansions etc. Wouldn't be surprised at this point if they make you pay for campaign story expansions as well. Regular melee isn't the worst of it either, the energy sword lunge is broken and in a bad way. You can't break it's tracking with the thrust, gravity lifts or explosions. It always finds it's way too you but someone exits your field of view and the gravity hammer doesn't kill them like wtf?

One of the best multiplayers I’ve ever played….. the Microstransactions flarking suck though. I honestly would’ve rather just paid a price for the multiplayer than have it be free if that meant Free to play players would have more offered to them.
I have never resonated with a Halo clip as much as when he was chasing a guy around for an entire half minute falling just a hair short of killing him each time before getting insta-killed by a hammer he procured in the two seconds he was off-screen

@@ImTheMan0fSteel you're trolling right? because premium aside it takes you like 30 levels to actually earn decent armour in the battlepass, its all chosen for you, and the ONLY way to level is by doing bullshit challenges for scraps of XP, so itll take about a month before you have actual options for customising your spartan significantly in reach you play for a few hours and youd level enough times to unlock about a dozen or more options to make you look standout from everyone else, you could choose the colour white (shocking I know) and mix and match the primary and secondary colours at will. you could also choose what you wanted to unlock in what order again making you different to everyone else walking around, and you had a sense of accomplishment and ownership to show for your time put into the game. you could also level by playing pretty much ANY game type, playing the objective counts for more XP, and the funniest part of it all is reach also still managed to implement challenges better. there's zero chance anyone thinks infinite's system is better (and especially faster) than reach's, even if you dont like reach saying its worse than the literal bottom of the barrel for the franchise's customisation is impossible to take seriously, so I guess I got baited

I remember when Reach was announced and I obsessed over Emile's skull helmet, though it wasn't obtainable at launch. Halo Reach will always be one of my favorite games ever, just after Halo 3. When halo 4 came out, I was a bit skeptical. The art style was all different and I did not like Chief's new design at all. Still don't. However 4 was definitely a good game, too. Almost made it to max rank. 5 was garbage. Infinite is pretty good from what I've seen, but I can't really play it because my pc broke down just days before it was released. Sorry for the essay. Hope you have fun with Infinite.

@@Mountaintop69420 Horizontal and vertical sensitivity don't scale equally, vertical needs to be twice thatcof horizontal to be scaled evenly. If you've set them the same your aim will be curved and wonky instead of circular when you test it by tilting your RS around. If your sensitivity is high, you don't want your acceleration high either as it'll be too twitchy to aim and the opposite is true if sensitivity and acceleration are low, your aim will be too slow to react to anything. This game still feels off and I've literally spent hours tweaking the settings and researching how to deal with it. I've played every Halo up until Infinite just fine without experiencing this stark of a learning curve, if you can call it that, and I played on max or almost max sensitivity for all of my time in PvP.
Cool seeing people look different as a squad for once. The game takes way too long for people to customize their spartan. So its usually just base model armor 90% of the time...
Great video but a little advice with the weapons that you said where bad. The pulse carbine should be used only at mid to long range. Close up its useless, but far away is shreds. The ravager can be hard to use but if you land you're shots it can kill in three bursts(Also you can charge it up). The disruptor does damage overtime, three shots destroys shields and six kills with overtime damage(and it can emp vehicles). The shock rifle is a sniper that can also emp vehicles. The commando is pretty accurate if you tap fire. The hydra is better at long range.
Imagine if they made a Battlefront style Halo game. You play as a grunt but earn battle points and can deploy as upgraded infantry like Spartans or Elites eventually even heroes. Also vehicles spawn at a main base. Massive 128 player battles. Why is Battlefront so cursed?
Yea I really want to see huge battles in Halo, but probably more like battlefield than battlefront, with vehicles bombarded on the ground. The chaotic fun would be probably the best part of the game
Just putting it out there the Shock Rifle is a one shot head shot gun and can stun vehicles with three shots back to back. The Ravager can shot a single AOE damage shot if you charge the shot to full power before releasing to fire. The Pulse Rifle's shots track like the needler at medium range its literally king in those situations but it is incredibly weak in CQC. And last But Certainly not least is the Hydra which has a direct fire mode and a tracking shot mode that can lock on to players and vehicles at ridiculous ranges it honestly a little overpowered and speaks for its self when used correctly at medium ranges with the tracking mode. However, I do agree the vehicles need to be more present and in some cases more powerful like with the banshee and wraith, which are very weak or hard to use right now, difficult to say which because like you pointed out there never around. I don't want to bust your balls zanny or write a paragraph but here i am. sorry not sorry zanny
I will wait until the universe resets itself and loops back into an alternate timeline where Zanny actually finishes monster hunter world (including iceborne), but until then i remain in my sewer tunnel waiting and watching closely
i would really hate to see another Battlefront 2/MCC where the devs don't fix the game until 2+ years down the line. They've got a great formula for a game here and I hope that they can figure it out by launch or forge/coop launch. Will still be fun to play customs with the boys either way tho so we take those. Also would reccomend trying the Hydra in large maps, it can be a really effective long range choice
Dude they already responded by making a daily challenge for 50 XP that is just "play" and making weekly challenges much easier. 343i is listening, thankfully. THEY ACTUALLY LISTEN!

They are trying to get people to actually work for crap, but didn't give proper rewards for the grind. They don't want people burning through a battle pass in a week, and rightfully so. Destiny players do it all the time then complain about nO cOnTenT. The bad part is monetization, that is the one that needs the most work.
@@SirPerfectful idk I still feel the progression is too stingy, you can play games for quite awhile and have nothing to show for it. I think it's because there's no kind of level or XP to gain from matches. It doesn't matter how well or how poorly you did, how many medals you earn. Because at the end of the day? You didn't kill someone with a gun that you didn't find, so that whole match gives you 50xp. I feel like they could put in a general leveling system. Earn other emblem type things with it. And then when people do well in matches they'll have something to show for it, even of it's not Battle Pass progression

Halo Combat Evolved (Halo 1) is what got me into Gaming as a whole, Most the halo games Absolutely stomp its FPS competition imho especially on the Single player Story front. Reach is my personal fav! Highly recommend Playing through them all!. Halo Infinite is getting a ton of praise for its Campaign From those that managed to play the first 4 missions and It looks sooo good, Im SO Excited for it. Just Be aware that Halo 5s campaign Is the weakest of the series but despite that Halo 5 being the weakest i still find it a superior game and Story to 90% of other FPS and Stories out there lol

Note about the weapons: I also thought a lot of them were trash, but it turns out there's just a steep learning curve. I shred everyone with the Commando now, the Hydra is less terrible than I thought, the Disruptor pistol is actually really good in certain situations, the Pulse Carbine..... So overall pretty good once you learn most of the weapons.
The disruptor pistol is OP, it even damages from the grave, and shuts down vehicles. The pulse carbine from mid distance is automatic. The real game changer is the grapple gun + hammer/sword, watch your enemy rage as you Spiderman them to death.

Honestly the complaints about monetisation don't stand up to any scrutiny, the only people complaining are cheapskates who want a fully polished Triple A game for free. That doesn't happen, it didn't happen with HALO 1, 2 or 3 so it isn't going to happen now.
You can actually just pay to skip doing the battlepass at a rate of $2 per tier. This means people can just pay $200 to skip the grind and just have all the items that arguably should have been available to everyone.
I can relate to the title, I downloaded the game which took like 4 hours, then launched it, crashed, crashed again, and crashed again, finally got it running on 30 or lower fps, next day couldn’t launch it with out my pc dying, now I can’t even get on it with out having 5 FPS or crashing.
If you're on pc if you download through steam you can go to the DLC. by clicking the cog on Halo and go to properties and DLC and uncheck it, stopped my crashing and get average 40 fps. you gotta uninstall and reinstall it again doe hope it helps
Was so happy for halo to be finally back and the microtransaction really just ruined it for me.. One of my favorite things about halo reach was unlocking armor it really kept me motivated to keep playing. Never forget the feeling at the start of the game when u saw the first people with the mark v helmet how hyped that made me and it just got better and better from there on since i didnt know all the armor pieces that were in the game due to not being able to see them at lower lvls
Zanny in MCC season 8 you can now get helmets based off of the greek spartan helmets and some other historical armor as well as chests, shoulders, wrist and a lot of other stuff. I made my halo reach character the Spartan spartan
The multiplayer is free but the campaign is sold separately at full price. I’m better off just buying the full package when the release date comes. PS. You guys are hilarious, gave me good laugh.
That bit with the Scorpion gave me Legendary flashbacks to Halo everyday life. The worse for me was Halo Wars, protecting the last tank left to hold off two player controlled groups of Covenant Scarabs or whatever thosed cursed giant walking tanks are called.

Completely agree with your point about BTB. It sometimes feels even less like an epic large scale fight because the maps Feel so large and split apart. The only big team map that feels right is the one with the AA gun.

Regular melee isn't the worst of it either, the energy sword lunge is broken and in a bad way. You can't break it's tracking with the thrust, gravity lifts or explosions. It always finds it's way too you but someone exits your field of view and the gravity hammer doesn't kill them like wtf?

One of the best multiplayers I’ve ever played….. the Microstransactions flarking suck though. I honestly would’ve rather just paid a price for the multiplayer than have it be free if that meant Free to play players would have more offered to them.

in reach you play for a few hours and youd level enough times to unlock about a dozen or more options to make you look standout from everyone else, you could choose the colour white (shocking I know) and mix and match the primary and secondary colours at will. you could also choose what you wanted to unlock in what order again making you different to everyone else walking around, and you had a sense of accomplishment and ownership to show for your time put into the game. you could also level by playing pretty much ANY game type, playing the objective counts for more XP, and the funniest part of it all is reach also still managed to implement challenges better.
there's zero chance anyone thinks infinite's system is better (and especially faster) than reach's, even if you dont like reach saying its worse than the literal bottom of the barrel for the franchise's customisation is impossible to take seriously, so I guess I got baited

I remember when Reach was announced and I obsessed over Emile's skull helmet, though it wasn't obtainable at launch. Halo Reach will always be one of my favorite games ever, just after Halo 3. When halo 4 came out, I was a bit skeptical. The art style was all different and I did not like Chief's new design at all. Still don't. However 4 was definitely a good game, too. Almost made it to max rank. 5 was garbage. Infinite is pretty good from what I've seen, but I can't really play it because my pc broke down just days before it was released. Sorry for the essay. @@Mountaintop69420 Horizontal and vertical sensitivity don't scale equally, vertical needs to be twice thatcof horizontal to be scaled evenly. If you've set them the same your aim will be curved and wonky instead of circular when you test it by tilting your RS around. If your sensitivity is high, you don't want your acceleration high either as it'll be too twitchy to aim and the opposite is true if sensitivity and acceleration are low, your aim will be too slow to react to anything.
This game still feels off and I've literally spent hours tweaking the settings and researching how to deal with it. I've played every Halo up until Infinite just fine without experiencing this stark of a learning curve, if you can call it that, and I played on max or almost max sensitivity for all of my time in PvP.
Cool seeing people look different as a squad for once. The game takes way too long for people to customize their spartan. So its usually just base model armor 90% of the time...

Great video but a little advice with the weapons that you said where bad.
The pulse carbine should be used only at mid to long range. Close up its useless, but far away is shreds.
The ravager can be hard to use but if you land you're shots it can kill in three bursts(Also you can charge it up).
The disruptor does damage overtime, three shots destroys shields and six kills with overtime damage(and it can emp vehicles).
The shock rifle is a sniper that can also emp vehicles.
The commando is pretty accurate if you tap fire.
The hydra is better at long range.

Imagine if they made a Battlefront style Halo game. You play as a grunt but earn battle points and can deploy as upgraded infantry like Spartans or Elites eventually even heroes. Also vehicles spawn at a main base. Massive 128 player battles. Why is Battlefront so cursed?

Just putting it out there the Shock Rifle is a one shot head shot gun and can stun vehicles with three shots back to back. The Ravager can shot a single AOE damage shot if you charge the shot to full power before releasing to fire. The Pulse Rifle's shots track like the needler at medium range its literally king in those situations but it is incredibly weak in CQC. And last But Certainly not least is the Hydra which has a direct fire mode and a tracking shot mode that can lock on to players and vehicles at ridiculous ranges it honestly a little overpowered and speaks for its self when used correctly at medium ranges with the tracking mode. However, I do agree the vehicles need to be more present and in some cases more powerful like with the banshee and wraith, which are very weak or hard to use right now, difficult to say which because like you pointed out there never around. I don't want to bust your balls zanny or write a paragraph but here i am. sorry not sorry zanny

i would really hate to see another Battlefront 2/MCC where the devs don't fix the game until 2+ years down the line. They've got a great formula for a game here and I hope that they can figure it out by launch or forge/coop launch. Will still be fun to play customs with the boys either way tho so we take those. Also would reccomend trying the Hydra in large maps, it can be a really effective long range choice

I think it's because there's no kind of level or XP to gain from matches. It doesn't matter how well or how poorly you did, how many medals you earn. Because at the end of the day? You didn't kill someone with a gun that you didn't find, so that whole match gives you 50xp. I feel like they could put in a general leveling system. Earn other emblem type things with it. And then when people do well in matches they'll have something to show for it, even of it's not Battle Pass progression

Note about the weapons: I also thought a lot of them were trash, but it turns out there's just a steep learning curve. I shred everyone with the Commando now, the Hydra is less terrible than I thought, the Disruptor pistol is actually really good in certain situations, the Pulse Carbine.....
So overall pretty good once you learn most of the weapons.
The disruptor pistol is OP, it even damages from the grave, and shuts down vehicles. The pulse carbine from mid distance is automatic. The real game changer is the grapple gun + hammer/sword, watch your enemy rage as you Spiderman them to death.
The shock rifle is a one shot kill to the head.

Honestly the complaints about monetisation don't stand up to any scrutiny, the only people complaining are cheapskates who want a fully polished Triple A game for free. That doesn't happen, it didn't happen with HALO 1, 2 or 3 so it isn't going to happen now.
You can actually just pay to skip doing the battlepass at a rate of $2 per tier. This means people can just pay $200 to skip the grind and just have all the items that arguably should have been available to everyone.

I can relate to the title, I downloaded the game which took like 4 hours, then launched it, crashed, crashed again, and crashed again, finally got it running on 30 or lower fps, next day couldn’t launch it with out my pc dying, now I can’t even get on it with out having 5 FPS or crashing.

If you're on pc if you download through steam you can go to the DLC. by clicking the cog on Halo and go to properties and DLC and uncheck it, stopped my crashing and get average 40 fps. you gotta uninstall and reinstall it again doe hope it helps

Was so happy for halo to be finally back and the microtransaction really just ruined it for me.. One of my favorite things about halo reach was unlocking armor it really kept me motivated to keep playing. Never forget the feeling at the start of the game when u saw the first people with the mark v helmet how hyped that made me and it just got better and better from there on since i didnt know all the armor pieces that were in the game due to not being able to see them at lower lvls
Zanny in MCC season 8 you can now get helmets based off of the greek spartan helmets and some other historical armor as well as chests, shoulders, wrist and a lot of other stuff. I made my halo reach character the Spartan spartan

Completely agree with your point about BTB. It sometimes feels even less like an epic large scale fight because the maps Feel so large and split apart. The only big team map that feels right is the one with the AA gun.
