- In this episode, I'm installing the inlay in the headstock. I'm installing an oval inlay with the Hayley Guitars logo and wrapping it with some padauk. Once I get it installed, I'll drill out the tuner holes.

Your neat little jig worked quite well. Nice work.
Very, very cool, Jeff. You are the master of jigs and making things fit. Impressive the way you set up and made the logo piece with your combination of jigs and down home ingenuity.
Thanks. I like the challenge of getting a job done with what I have available. Sometimes you just have to figure things out. I like that part.
Great work Jeff, your ingenuity was brilliant.
Thanks Andy! I enjoy finding creative ways to accomplish a task.
Cool branding iron hack! That was a great idea.
Sometimes you just have to make it work. Lol. It worked out perfect.

@@homebuiltshop Have you tried the microwave bendy wood? And never asked. But What came first, Hayley or Hayley guitars :D?
hello love your program my son and I watch it all the time. May I ask where do you get the two-step drillbit for the machine mechanism for Guitar? Also where do you get the big sandpaper for sanding the Guitar besides flat?
Its been tricky to find that stepped bit. I know Stewmac sells one but this came from somewhere else. I can't seem to find the source at the moment. The 24" sanding discs come from SuperGrit. These are made for use on large floor sanders. Many luthier supply shops sell them but they're much more expensive.
I'm surprised you didn't 3D print the logo for the inlay.
I could have, but using all wood is so much cooler. I don't really want plastic parts on this build.
That's the easy part. How did you makethe templates?
I drew it up in Fusion 360 and 3D printed them. I have the entire headstock drawn out this way so it makes it pretty easy to make jigs like this.
