I played all the original battletoads games and this one too. I had a BLAST playing it! I'm hoping to get a sequel!
I hope this sparks some energy in rare to bring back some of their other old franchises
The new battletoads is a pleasant surprise. Its funny and the gameplay is top notch. Hope it gets a sequal.
I thoroughly enjoyed it! really hoping a Season Two gets green lit as I liked the tone you guys were heading in by the end of the game. everything to do with Jason has me laughing my arse off top stuff!!

@@ViViDG original is harder, but this one had some annoying parts. The new one is more forgiving with saves being generous
I’m a huge fan of rare ware I grew up playing the games like banjo kazooie banjo tooie and a bunch too
Rare is back to making classic games!
The beat em up, racing and autoscrolling sections as well as the cinematics were excellent. Make an entire game that is just that and everyone will love it! All the other mini games and such just took away from the flow of the game frankly. Especially towards the end my friend and I were left thinking "When can we get back to the good stuff?!?" I know if you just keep it simple this could come back to be a wildly popular beat em up series and I would LOVE to see that!
Also two player autoscrolling sections should not force both players to work in synchronization for control rather you should take turns controlling individually. We ended up just going 1P and taking turns for those as combining controls was just a bad idea.
Still waiting for the physical edition to buy the game.
It is a lot of fun!

Edit: My only gripe is that Dark Queens character design is pretty bland and looks more like she came from Star Trek. But, it does make up for her crazed and gentle personality which I really do appreciate you guys for adding.
