  • In this special presentation, renowned research professor and author Dr. Brené Brown shares what she's learned from a decade of research on the power of authenticity. She will help viewers engage with the world from a place of courage and worthiness. We've all experienced the pressure to fit in, and the feeling that our worthiness is measured by how we look or what we earn. For many, that leads to a cycle of performing, perfecting, pleasing, and proving.

I feel such powerful gratitude for your research, Brene! I've been watching probably every video there is of you on UA-cam and I'm watching them again, to really take in the messages. I've ordered all three of your books and am so looking forward to getting them in the mail. I believe, after being 9 years in therapy, your research is one of the big keys to my recovery. Thank you so so much!

You are so inspiring to me Brene' The love and compassion oozes out to your audience. I have shared on FB and posted on my personal blog that is for ME to work better at wholeheartedness - also inspired by watching your videos and reading your books.

Interesting. I like the idea that a 'want list' involves more work and more money, while a 'joy list' involves less work and more time. I would add that the 'want list' is probably based on taking on board what we imagine others expect of us or judge us by, while the joy list - as she says - is evidence-based. What - by our knowledge - actually brings us joy.

Thanks. I'm about to have a book study with my group, Sisters Helping Empower Each Other - S.H.E.E. in the coming month. I'm looking forward to digging deep into this book with the ladies.

I randomly saw your book on eBay and bought it. Sounded like something I needed. This 60+ grama certainly does. So perhaps it wasn’t such a random find after all.
