Quilting silk wasn't as difficult as I suspected. This quilt ginkgo leaf block was designed by Bethanne Nemesh. I quilted the quilt top with large swirls, pebbles, and cross-hatch quilting designs. Basting the entire quilt isn't usually my go-to technique but I had to place the designs I wanted in the order they needed placing in.

Looks just beautiful! Amazing work as always. It looks like a lot of stops and starts. Did you do the cross hatch as you went or after all the swirls?
