You know, Nightmare Creatures almost seems like a proto-Bloodborne. A hack'n slasher with gothic horror elements, set in a quasi-Victorian London where you fight twisted, misshapen abominations, some of which resemble werewolves. There certainly are a lot of similarities.
No he didn't a 6 year old hand is way to small to hold PS1, PS2 controller and and PSP console. Even if they do grab it their grip is so weak they'll drop it every seconds!
Toy Story 2 is also the first game I completed to 100%. I am so glad i am not the only one who loved that game and the soundtrack in my childhood. Man, the memories. I did play it on PC though, rather than PS1, in fact the only PS1 games i've actually ever played are Crash Bandicoot 1,2,3, CTR, Crash Bash, Sypro 1, Tekken 3, and Frogger.
Since I began watching Caddicarus my love for retro games has been reborn! His videos are make you want to replay them! Might have to do a playthrough or two on my favourite ps1 games!
That "Japanese" writing on the back of the Tekken 2 isn't really Japanese Caddi, it's really stylized English text, if you look at the text while having it tilted to the side it should read something like "Undeniably, the greatest beat em up of the generation, Tekken 2, Unparalleled genius!"

Growing up our parents wouldn't let us have console game systems. That being sad,I love the PS titles so much I had a sizeable collection of PS games without the system. CD cases with games and memory cards which I would sneak away to friend's places to play. Nightmare creatures is the reason I nearly had an aneurysm when I got to middle school and there was a kid named Adam Crowley.. needless to say no one else understood or cared.
Alleys and Gullies, Andy's Neighborhood, Bombs Away (PS1 Ver.), Als Toy Barn and even the title screen music are my personal favorites. I also like to turn up the speed on Slime Time (PS1 Ver.), Airport Infiltration and sometimes Alleys and Gullies to 1.25 to hear them in a slightly different way.
I was surprised to see Bugs Bunny: Lost in Time on this list. I just didn't think anyone else appreciated it as much as I do because I never hear anything about it.
Oh man Toy Story fucking 2, that was one of my first video games, I would sit and play it for hours until my parents made me turn it off. It was so addictive. It's aged pretty well too considering it's what- 15 years old now? I can still play it and it's still entertaining, I even downloaded it on PSN.

Holy fuckin' Christ, this is my first Caddicarus video, but I already love this guy. Even though I would personally set Time Busters above Lost in Time (maybe 'cause, yeah, I had a blast with the co-op and the locations hold more fond memories for me), the inclusion of Toy Story 2 right off the bat made me so happy. I loved that game to bits as a kid. Oh, and, of course, I'd put Tekken 3 over 2, but that's not enough to detract from the video and the enjoyment I got from it.

Klonoa was one of my favorite games that I had ever played on the PS1. Great story, cute design, but so good that you just want to keep playing again and again! If anyone wants to play it, it is now on the PSN network under Classics. Have it on my Vita and still play it to this day!

Die Hard, Tekken 2, Tomb Raider and Bugs Bunny: Lost in Time takes me right back to my childhood. So much nostalgia, my PS1's packed up somewhere but I don't think playing them again will feel the same.

Hey comment section I had both N64 and PS1 due to having divorced parents, both are amazing. The games that really hold up on both still really hold up. PS1 I think has more verity in games, but N64 had more revolutionary games (IN MY OPINION). As for graphics they all kind of suck technically now but they have a charm that gives me nostalgia. Specially Resident Evil 1 and Ocarina of Time.

It's so odd experiencing gaming from the perspective of someone who's first console was PS1. It makes me feel old. Haha. I have a lot of games I love from the Sega days that people absolutely don't like or know about... Oddly enough most are licensed games. Licensed games didn't always suck somehow. Taz in Escape from Mars and Desert Demolition are two Looney Toons games that came up in my mind when you brought up the Bugs game. Mickey and Minnie's Great Circus Mystery and Tiny Toons: Buster's Hidden Treasure are also really good Sega ones to look up if you get the time. ALSO I had NO idea anybody else even KNEW what Nightmare Creatures was! I remember watching my older cousin play it and being scared at the time. Haha. That made me happy. So many childhood feels.

My God, Toy Story 2! I had that on PC, it was the shit! I agree with you 100%, the soundtrack is amazing and quite underrated. As for Nightmare Creatures, I don't know what that is, but it seems like the shit. Clonoa is also one I never got to play, but it's hella charming from the looks of it. Die hard was pretty damn amazing. I always liked the variety of games you had, it just seemed... fresh and new to have a single game that covered multiple genres back then. Vibra-noa is also one I haven't played. Seems... weird. And has some sort of asteroids-style look going for it. I'd say Tomb Raider was one of the most atmospheric video games ever, simply put. It is one of the greats, a pioneer for adventure games. Broken Sword seems very well-done especially for a PS1 point-and-click, but sadly I cannot say I've played it. I also haven't played any of the Wipeouts, though God knows why, it seems fucking awesome. Oh my god... Bugs Bunny lost in time! This along with the Cyber Chase was the stuff of cartoon licenced gaming for me! KFNSDSNSDNSDCSDSSDCC. Yes, that is one beautiful game. Now then... Tekken, that was a fighting game I played all the time as a kid, that and Soul Calibur at one of my friends' Gamecube. If I'm honest I prefered the Soul Calibur series, but no-one game deny Tekken's awesomeness.
There's something about Balue's Tower that just makes it my favorite level. Maybe it's the music. Yeah, it's probably the music. >dat section with the bells on the second loop of the song DELICIOUS.
One of my biggest regrets in life is playing Vib Ribbon once at my friend's house, loving it and then forgetting the name and therefore not being to find it. You just resolved that. ALL HAIL

I'm so used to people shiting on about NES and SNES for their childhoods and patronising anyone who isn't old enough to share their experiences. You're ushering in a new era of retro appreciation (PS1 era retro) and you're doing it brilliantly. My God, Toy Story 2! I had that on PC, it was the shit! I agree with you 100%, the soundtrack is amazing and quite underrated.
As for Nightmare Creatures, I don't know what that is, but it seems like the shit. Clonoa is also one I never got to play, but it's hella charming from the looks of it.
Die hard was pretty damn amazing. I always liked the variety of games you had, it just seemed... fresh and new to have a single game that covered multiple genres back then.
Vibra-noa is also one I haven't played. Seems... weird. And has some sort of asteroids-style look going for it.
I'd say Tomb Raider was one of the most atmospheric video games ever, simply put. It is one of the greats, a pioneer for adventure games.
Broken Sword seems very well-done especially for a PS1 point-and-click, but sadly I cannot say I've played it. I also haven't played any of the Wipeouts, though God knows why, it seems fucking awesome.
Oh my god... Bugs Bunny lost in time! This along with the Cyber Chase was the stuff of cartoon licenced gaming for me! KFNSDSNSDNSDCSDSSDCC. Yes, that is one beautiful game.
Now then... Tekken, that was a fighting game I played all the time as a kid, that and Soul Calibur at one of my friends' Gamecube. If I'm honest I prefered the Soul Calibur series, but no-one game deny Tekken's awesomeness.

One of my biggest regrets in life is playing Vib Ribbon once at my friend's house, loving it and then forgetting the name and therefore not being to find it.

I think that you're videos are really good, Caddicarus. I'm the same age as you and I too grew up with PS1. I'm so used to people shiting on about NES and SNES for their childhoods and patronising anyone who isn't old enough to share their experiences. You're ushering in a new era of retro appreciation (PS1 era retro) and you're doing it brilliantly. I often disagree with your opinions, but you present your videos so comically, charismatically and sincerely that I still enjoy them thoroughly. :D
