+jkbobful True. He had that huge disclaimer at the beginning, but I doubt many people are going to get mad about his list (other than number 2). Even so, it's an opinion video, and he did warn me about some games to steer clear of.
Personally, Super Mario 3D World is not only my favorite Mario games, but one of my all time favorite games in general. But I completely understand everything you said about it. Honestly, anything probably would have been a disappointment after the pioneering of Mario 64, the experimentation of Sunshine, and the sheer creative power houses that were Galaxy 1 & 2. But, for me, the thing that makes 3D World (and to an extent, 3D Land) my favorite Mario game(s) is the marriage of elements from EVERY core Mario game up to this point. It seamlessly blends all the best aspects of 2D Mario with all the best elements of 3D Mario, becoming something all its own in the process. But thats just me. And while I'm at it: my biggest video disappointments are probably "Conker's Bad Fur Day" and the "Jak & Daxter" sequels, particularly "Jak 3"
+FootofaFerret From what I understand, Super Mario 3D World focused a ton on gameplay. But yeah, I don't think you'll remember easily a stage from 100, and it won't be easy to make them all memorable and special..
For me that was Jump Force. It looked like a giant crossover with the most in depth fighting mechanics to be in a 3D fighter. Instead we got a game with a large cast, and it rewards spammy play. However, it is still a good time to play, especially when you make your own characters and have your friends do that
That's exactly how I feel with 3D World. An good game. But IMO; the most forgettable and self-aware game I've played. Not even the port of the Switch version with Bowser's Fury added didn't do much for me.
My biggest disappointment (asides from Enter the Dragonfly) was Paper Mario Sticker Star. I had mixed feelings on the gameplay shift in Super Paper Mario, but it carried the charm that the first two games had. Sticker Star? Nothing. The worlds are copy-pasted from other Mario games (the typical grass/desert/ice/fire worlds are in it), the gameplay, despite reverting back to the turn based RPG style, was ruined with the intrusive sticker gimmick, the bosses were atrocious, and the story and character development were non existent. Also, where are the partners?
+Patrick Slevin My brother bought the dlc, so i didn't mind it costing 200$, but content almost triples with all dlc. It also gets more fun, and house of wolves had real story. The game is unplayable without the newest dlc, but dang, is it fun when you play it for over 12 hours. Not before, though.
I actually found the game fun, but asking for over 50 dollars for 4 extra maps, that won't even be released until December, was bullshit. that was the insulting part to me
+HDmexiqtioner I find it fun, i sadly wasn't introduced with the older games and I still have never played them but from a competitive, fun, and star wars game its fun for me :D
Yeah, I actually understand Journey being on this. The first ten minutes I was alone and was kinda bored. I didnt have more fun with it until I ran into another player, and we ended up sticking together until the end. And I focused more on them than anything.
+Michael Josefsen When most of the fans of your game play for split screen with their friends and family, you don't remove it just for 1080p and 60fps. That's what 343 did. (And yeah Halo Reach was one of my favorites)
+shunkaha That's not what I was saying at all. The mechanics of Halo were original compared to the tons of other shooter games. For example, CoD AW added the jet boost ability. Halo 5 also added jet boosting after it saw success in AW. That's just one in a long list of examples too, but if you still want to say that Halo has always been a shooter clone, go ahead. That's your opinion.
+Scarfulhu I can't believe Caddy forgot about Ellen Page... then again it may be something to do with Canada being the butt of (too) many jokes. By the way, just saying "Ellen" won't always make people think you're talking about DeGeneres.
+ColoniaContraAtaca You know that you pronouced Journey wrong, I know that you're Brazilian but I am also Portuguese from Portugal. Just a little fun fact for you!
So disappointing, the only thing that i found interesting and unique was exploring planets. And the only way to do that was do the same mining i had done better in Minecraft.
How dare you, Caddy. Don't you know that your opinion controls my brain and yet somehow allows me to form my own opinion that disagrees with yours and therefore you are wrong? Disliked and unsubscribed rah rah rah
+Demon Rantz Eh, more so the Undertale fandom. I have never had to take down a game review before my review of Undertale where I said that the size of the game's fandom was unwarranted. The game wasn't that good even if it did like one original thing.
For me; it was Batman: Arkham Origins. I not saying it was bad at all, or have not enough action as the others and final game; but it was very slow, with a not inspiring plot story and some challenges be more than easy than those people in playthrough said be harshly hard in pass through. It was an okay game but very dissapointing.
This video would be on it for putting sm 3D world on it and his complaints make no sense platforming challenges are all the levels are that's what a Mario game is
KillThad That's fine. I don't think it was a TERRIBLE game, but it most certainly didn't live up to the hype most older fans of the series put on it. We waited 11 years for a... kinda... alright game? But we wanted something big.
I'm not too sure about that. At the very least, it could have been a good game. Even if it had no connection to the beloved franchise, I still think it would have met a lukewarm reception at best for its lame gameplay. The plot was horrible, too, but that's not too bad considering the source material.
I felt the exact same way with Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly. I absolutely loved the first 3 Spyro games, even played them to completion like 5 times each. But this one, I couldn't even finish. I gave it like 10 minutes and felt like I wanted to go crash a car into a tree.
+Mizticall Am I the only one who didnt hate MGSV's story? (other than the fact that it just randomly stops T_T) Maybe its because people overcriticized it's story before i played it?
+Maxjk0 I personally loved the story - maybe not as memorable as MGS3 or 4, but still pretty neat with the return of interesting characters and such. But I did feel like it was missing something :/ Like I wish they`d showed some other characters as well and actually showed [SPOILER (?) ALERT] Big Boss creating the Outer Heaven from MG1 or Zanzibarland from MG2.
+Mizticall Exactly. I was hoping #1 was Phantom Pain. All in all, yes the game is fun--but as Caddy mentioned a long time ago the largest draw with the metal gear series is the sense of helplessness you feel whenever you're caught. Even though you're an insanely bad ass espionage operative, getting detected by the enemies put all your stealth training aside, and forced you to either engage the enemy, or hide from them and hope they wouldn't find you. It made you genuinely worried and aware of enemies near you. While in TPP, having the whole new engine and criminally insane weapons, there was no real sense of danger. Boss in TPP was much stronger than he was in any game, especially since the game was basing itself from Peace Walker, which did give you a challenge from time to time, but TPP was pretty much too easy to consider difficult since you were far too powerful on the battlefield. Additionally, Skull Face not having a boss fight was extremely disappointing, and Sahelanthropus was plainly NOT the best metal gear ever... I had much more fun fighting Peace Walker, Rex and the Shagohod than Sahelanthropus. Again considering that you were too powerful to fight fair in TPP, the Metal Gear didn't stand a chance, even with tiny mantis half-piloting it.
After seeing "Crash Bandiccot" on your thumbnail I thought you were going to put "Crash Bandicoot Mind Over Mutant" or "Crash of the Titans" in the list. Say, what is your opinion on the modern Crash series? (sorry you've probably talked about this already) XD
+SonicHaXD Though I realize that I'm not Caddy (lol) - and that your comment was directed towards him, so I apologize - I just wanted to say that... Well... A LOT of Crash Bandicoot fans hated these two, and that I personally... actually enjoyed Mind Over Mutant (even though it was wy too short to my liking). Maybe because I liked the cartoony feeling it had. Anyway. Just an opinion from a random guy wandering what's yours about these two games. Didn't like Crash of the Titans, but liked Mind Over Mutant, though I was still kind of disappointed. I liked hte concept of it, too.
+Jayden Winter (TheGamingChannel) Not sure about that, actually. The problem here for example is that you buy a sequel as a sequel to a game you already played mostly for the reason that you liked the predecessor. So if they change the game up to a point where it hardly has anything to do with said predecessor in terms of gameplay, even without the disappointment you get when realizing its true nature, its still at best a 50/50 chance that you will like the game. Say i like Plattformers and buy Banjo Kazooie Nuts an Bolts, even without the dissapointment of it not being what fans expected, its still unlikely that ill enjoy the vehicle based gameplay.
+Jayden Winter (TheGamingChannel) Nuts an bolts is not a personal example by the way, i loved that game, always enjoy building vehicles with lego-bricks so... yh ... but when i bought the original game on xbla (which i also really enjoyed) the first thing that came to my mind was that fans must be REALLY discontent with this sequel. i wouldve liked it any way so there is this chance of liking it as sth else i guess
Derek Shook I understand that much.But... That doesn't mean much anymore. I mean, really, of course it doesn't feel like a Crash Game: Twinsanity didn't as well (or that's what people said), and yet it was pretty darn awesome. It's normal that they try new feelings to, y'know, innovate. Personally I didn't mind much, because it still felt like it was trying its best to be humorous and entertaining - which, frankly, it WAS - and if they're trying to do new things, it's fine.
Ehh kinda, at least Double Dash was fun. It's 2 item slots instead of 1 made it more chaotic and the character swap mechanic was added perfect unlike Tag Team.
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. The hype for this game was real, and yet it was such a let down. Almost no exploration, a completely empty sky, orchestrated music that wasn't memorable, extremely limited combat that doesn't even used the advertised 1:1 motion controls, and a lack of explanation on anything in the timeline. The last one wouldn't have been so disappointing if Nintendo hadn't released Hyrule Historia in the same year and didn't keep hyping up how it was going to be a prequel. Added all that to the complaints that MathewMatosis mentions in his review of it, and you have one great big disappointment.
ok. i need to.fucking ask. where did all this fucking hate come from? it's the same as TP. it was an amazing game.people loved. then they hated it like hell, for what reason? i can see the small reasons but it's not a disappointment. as someone who has beaten every. Zelda game except the most recent ones, i say SS is one of my favs. i just wanna get the hate. the control worked perfectly for me.
DragonZero XIII MathewMatosis has a really good review of Skyward Sword. He pretty much covers every gripe most people who "hate" Skyward Sword have in detail. I'd recommend his video. Add to the list the fact that if you said you didn't like Skyward Sword, the fans of the game were prone to attack. I used to be on a Zelda forum and nothing caused more hate than saying you just thought Skyward Sword was okay, or even worse, you thought it was bad. And there's the overhype factor. Whenever something you think is just okay is hyped up to the extreme, you tend to hate it more. It was rediculous how many people were screaming that Skyward Sword was the best game of all time. This gave it the Frozen/FNAF effect.
Shady Doorags The game itself was really good though. i like it because, hell. the flying was empty but so was hyrule fields in EVERY 3d zelda game. and i never really found a problem with motion controls. infact, i loved SS's. SSes? SS? IDFK! but still, i liked it alot. eh. ill always defend it.
DragonZero XIII Most people don't want to stop people from liking Skyward Sword, but acknowledging it's flaws wouldn't hurt. And in MathewMatosis's video, you can see that there are ALOT of flaws. Skyward Sword is a good game in regards to gaming in general, but compared to other games in the Legend of Zelda series, it's mediocre.
Huh. I really get what you're saying about 3D World. Me, personally, I was excited to get to play as characters other than Mario, (Blue Toad 4 life!) and having a bunch of power-ups to choose from. But looking back, there really are only a handful of stages that really left any kind of impression. I wish we could get a game with the depth of the 64/Sunshine/Galaxy games, but with the character selection and powerup style of the 3D World games.
I'm surprised Nintendo hasn't done an HD remake of Mario Sunshine, especially after TWO Zelda Gamecube ports. But Ninty just need to get their arse in gear and make an online Mario game, don't force us to play offline as that's how you want the game to be played, We want to play it online with friends. and piss people we'll never meet in real life by kicking them off cliffs. >:D
I love my PS Vita. I don't see why people say it doesn't have much of a library or hasn't caught on when they release tons of games a month and tons of people play it.
Because it doesn't have almost any interesting exclusive imo. It has some great multiplat indie games that are great for a handeld, some pretty great japanese games that are also on PS3/4/PC, PS1 classics or PS2 ports and a couple of other things, but overall as a person that likes JRPG's or visual nobels but not THAAAAAT much and that has a PS3 and a PC, when I think in the Vita I don't think in a console with an interesting library at all, 90% of the games I can play them on other consoles and the interesting exclusives for me are so few (Killzone Mercenary, TXK, Persona 4 Golden), it's ot even funny. In my 3DS I have some virtual console games and indies, but overall most of the games I have for it I can't play them in any other system. But if you are not like me and you don't care if the game is exclusive or not and if you REAAAAALLY love JRPG'S and visual novel, or in the other hand, playing PS1 and 2 classics or indies on the go like Caddy, you will love it, it has many games to play.
+sai-shou Caddy's already stated before that he will not play it because the fanbase gave him excessive demands to play it, as well as the fanbase spoiling the game for him
3D World is Sunshine levels of creativity compared to NSMBU and 2, 3D World to me at least was a rare gem. Not saying that I DIDN'T miss 64's gamestyle ((Mainly Mario's old acrobatics that were sadly removed such as the Triple Jump as well as a health bar which I prefer to the "big/small" mechanic)) but it still felt like it's own identity whereas the 2 NSMB games feel like they were simple ports/edits of the Wii Version and nothing more. And hey, At least Peach was playable again after being a plot device for DECADES... And then she goes back to being a plot device again in games after 3D World. *sigh* But again - My opinion. Color Splash and Paper Jam count as probably bigger disappointments if anything. (obviously)
Honestly, there's always a chance that any of these could be either remade or redone as another game, but better, at least in your eyes. Who knows? Perhaps the people who played a part in developing these games might be watching this video and take your feedback into account for future games. Thanks for the video Caddy. :)
Nostalgia Critic/Doug Walker did it THREE times, and after Caddy's Grinch review paying a bit of homage to NC, I think he can get away with a Top 10 Fuck Ups list
"You remember that game that you would defend cause you loved it so much and it had such nostalgia, but looking now you wonder why?" *Looks at FFX-2* No...no... Seriously still love that game even if it's cheesy as all hell. Also no , people didn't learn from Alien Colonial Marine, look at No Man's Sky.
Two words- Majora's Mask. Everyone talked about how wonderful it was. You know, the atmosphere and stuffs. But, I just couldn't get past the whole time constraint. How can I take in the "atmosphere" if I have no time to do so because I have to keep moving otherwise everyone dies? If you like this game, I can understand. I just…don't.
9:39 For me, that was Ben 10 Ultimate Alien Cosmic Destruction (I only just realised that title is far too long). I fucking loved those cartoons as a kid, and loved the games also, so I was so excited for that game, but I didn't have a PS3 then so I had to get the PS2 version instead, and I remember it being glitchy, buggy, looking like shit, and crashing every half hour. The PS3 version is probably not a good game either, but I was a stupid kid and haven't played it since then, so the memories remain fond.
My most disappointing game is fallout 4. I don't know whether it was the insane hype around it or what but it just kinda fell flat on its face after I got bored by the same copy and paste missions that I decided to progress in the story and found myself beating the main story some 2 and a half hours later. I still got all of the achievements in it and still think it is a good game. But I just hate when people say that its amazing or a masterpiece because i found it to be really disappointing after seeing what they are capable with in Skyrim.
My worst disappointed in my gaming experience/ history: losing all my games and only being able to recover a small number of them when my PCs crashed in 2018.
+Lord Shonji yeah and ever since sticker star we havent gotten anything like the real paper mario games. i mean paper jam is a fun game but its a mario and luigi game and it really doesnt have the paper mario elements that i love
I actually totally agree with everything you say about 3D World; it's definitely a good game but it feels very processed. I reviewed the game myself and one thing I want to see in more modern Mario games, is more of a semblance of plot. The whole 'Bowser kidnapping story' is sooooo old now. I'd like to see more fun cutscenes (the kind LEGO games have) and interesting new worlds to explore with interesting characters for Mario to encounter. Maybe throw in some RPG elements to spruce the gameplay up a bit. So basically take elements from the Mario and Luigi games and incorporate them into the main platformer series. Would love to see that.
+The Unusual Suspect You know Nintendo has always kept these elements separate from the main games. No offense but I don't think they'll combine these two things anytime in the future,
I absolutely love SM3DW, and I even played 64, Galaxy 1, and Galaxy 2 before it. And I knew going into it that it was going to be a 2d Mario game in the style of a 3d Mario game. Even though it was different, I still loved it. I guess we just have a different way of thinking about things.
After watching this, specifically the last part, I actually spent a minute just thinking about something from 3D World I could vividly remember, and honestly the only thing I could was Meowser and the fact that I always played as Rosalina when I unlocked her. Heck even watching the footage you showed I realized I didn't remember any of those bosses aside from maybe the dragon one. And yet if I try and think about Super Mario 64 and the two Galaxy games (since I saw a playthrough of Sunshine recently so it's still in my head) I can remember specific moments like the one island in 64 that would be differently sized depending on how you entered, and the Freezeflame galaxy in Galaxy, with it's huge ice mountain on one end and lava pools on the other. Those left some good memories in my head, and yet when I try and think of 3D World for the most part my mind draws a blank, thanks for getting me to realize that Caddy, you're alright.
Even though I kinda hate you for number 2 I still respect your choice. And looking back, most of what you say about it is true, even though most people (me included) don't WANT to see or realize it. I still love it though :') And I do agree on number one
I didn’t grow up with ocarina of time. I was born in 2002. I played that game for the first time last year on original hardware. I’m not saying it’s perfect. But it’s one of my favorite games now and the ending gives me feels. Even on n64 I think it’s held up pretty well. Idk I like old games but I love the game
Ah nostalgia. My big "wait. I actually spent hundreds of hours on this?!" game is the PS2 game: Barbie Horse Adventure: Wild Horse Rescue. I spent fucking ages on that piece of shit game.
Y'know... When you said "Mario 3D World", I was a little taken aback. Then I thought about it, and yeah, there was no innovation. It's a game that exists just to be a Mario game.
+Duncan Ketcheson Wow, I am amazed this is not full of nintendrones who shit on everyone who doesn't like it. I once expressed an opinion like this. Nintendrone had to find his way to me. Honestly sometimes when I look at Nintendo's fanbase on the internet, supposedly much better than "COD PLAYSTATION XBONE SHIT", I see no difference to them, same name calling and shit eating. Of course, that is the internet. Clearly here people can respect someone's opinion :)
Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon is one of my most disappointing games, it does the basic things from Luigi's Mansion right, but in the rest it fails, like having ghosts with personalities, being able to walk through the whole house without level restrictions, those are the things it should've had. But instead you have ghosts that are the boss of 1 level, and minibosses later on. The multiple houses excited me when i first heard about them, thinking how great it would be to just walk through them and admire the house itself, but instead i got a level based system and a rope that went into the ground.
The level based thing is happening a lot to Nintendo now unfortunately. Just look at Federation Force, 3D World, Paper Mario Color TRASH, etc. These are all disappointing games, and I hope they go back to more open world type games.
Kilo But when you unlocked a door, it was unlocked for the rest of the game, i've had levels in dark moon that had ice placed in some hallways, just to keep you from going off the path.
martluca personally I think it's underrated when people say 'ghost with personalities'they only mean portrait ghost compare normal ghost to normal ghost but blad and boring but comparing the bosses?that's the main issue I would argue 2 has better puzzles and gameplay to and it's longer!
My favorite Mario game of all time is super Mario 3d world (and this is coming from somebody who owns both versions of super Mario 64) and i will have to admit i was surprised when you said the game was number one on your list but, unlike about 95% percent of the comment section, i respect your opinion and you did bring up some good points :) (Also my pick for number one would be Disney infinity)
I can understand Caddy's perspective on 3D World, as someone who cannot afford a Wii U. I honestly think 3D World was just made to show what the Wii U was graphically capable of on a cartoon standpoint. (You know, what Nintendo specializes in?) I don't want a realistic Mario game, I don't want the toad guards to carry guns instead of spears, I just want Mario and the traditional Mario formula. I think 3D Land and 3D World were trying to stick to the 3D gameplay style of 64 to Galaxy 2 while drawing in the older players who had nostalgia for the original quadrilogy and they had to sacrifice the traditional Mario gameplay as a result. I think 3D Land and 3D World's gameplay style works great for handheld platforms (3D side-scroller I believe Nintendo called it) But for the console market... no I prefer the gameplay style of Galaxy 1 and 2.
I never said that. I just said their gameplay style was better suited for handheld. 3D World is just too big to put on a cartridge (I hope Nintendo keeps using them with their next handheld line, since they're easier to lug around,) but like Caddy said, most of what takes up all the data is all endgame filler. The main reason I think the gameplay style works best for handheld is because we tend to associate modern 2D Mario with handheld, since it's not as taxing on the disc/cartridge as a 3D game (New Super Mario Bros. U and Wii not withstanding, as they were pretty big 2D games for the systems they were on) and they're easier to program for on limited space. You don't have that kind of limit with consoles because the modern VG console uses discs (unless it's a bootleg that runs famicom games.) That being said Sunshine to Galaxy 2 are much more taxing on the hardware than, say, NSMB Original, a game that was released only a year and a half prior. I say Sunshine because 64 could actually be given additional content on the DS (which contains more data than a 64 cartridge w/out a memory pak) in exchange for a run button.
+Nolan Hickey If Caddy plays fallout for the same reasons that I do, then Fallout 4 wasn't a disappointment at all. It's an open world to explore and experience, and I was satisfied.
+Name no one understands with creepy profile picture we must fortify the barricades, the tsunami of hate comments is arriving, dont just stand there you fool, FORTIFY!
It's fun to see how people have different takes on games. I fully agree with everything you said about 3D world, but I still think it's one of the best local multiplayer experiences I have ever had. In fact, it was so good, it actually reanimated my relationship with my beloved wife after almost losing her to a stupid mistake. I'm eternally grateful for this, and I genuinely believe I wouldn't be nearly as happy without it
Fun Fact: Alien Colonial Marine's had broken AI just becouse a single word was spelled wrong. Disappointment added

But Caddy, we're The Collective, the fact that you don't spout our opinions means YOUR TASTES WILL ADAPT TO SERVICE OURS. RESISTANCE IS FUTILE.
Halo 5. 343 took the great foundation the Halo franchise was built on, levelled it and replaced it with another shooter clone.
Ikr
+Piehogger oh my god thank you!
+Michael Josefsen When most of the fans of your game play for split screen with their friends and family, you don't remove it just for 1080p and 60fps. That's what 343 did. (And yeah Halo Reach was one of my favorites)
+Piehogger so they took a shooter clone and turned it into a shooter clone?
+shunkaha That's not what I was saying at all. The mechanics of Halo were original compared to the tons of other shooter games. For example, CoD AW added the jet boost ability. Halo 5 also added jet boosting after it saw success in AW. That's just one in a long list of examples too, but if you still want to say that Halo has always been a shooter clone, go ahead. That's your opinion.

I can't believe Caddy forgot about Ellen Page... then again it may be something to do with Canada being the butt of (too) many jokes. By the way, just saying "Ellen" won't always make people think you're talking about DeGeneres.

+Alexander von Koopa lol best comment ever created ever!
Bronies in a nutshell
+Demon Rantz Eh, more so the Undertale fandom. I have never had to take down a game review before my review of Undertale where I said that the size of the game's fandom was unwarranted. The game wasn't that good even if it did like one original thing.
+Alexander von Koopa ikr its the same with me its like he doesn't realize that
For me; it was Batman: Arkham Origins.
I not saying it was bad at all, or have not enough action as the others and final game; but it was very slow, with a not inspiring plot story and some challenges be more than easy than those people in playthrough said be harshly hard in pass through. It was an okay game but very dissapointing.
Batman Arkham knight it mine and I even played on the ps4
I wasn't really expecting much from origins because it wasnt being made by rocksteady

Caddy do it!
It wouldn't be too weird, other people have done lists like that, like the Nostalgia Critic for instance made 3 of them.
This video would be on it for putting sm 3D world on it and his complaints make no sense platforming challenges are all the levels are that's what a Mario game is
The newest Duke Nukem game. The one that effectively killed the franchise. You guys know the one.
Tragic. Just tragic.
...I liked it.
KillThad That's fine. I don't think it was a TERRIBLE game, but it most certainly didn't live up to the hype most older fans of the series put on it. We waited 11 years for a... kinda... alright game? But we wanted something big.
Stout Shako To be fair, NOTHING would've lived up to the hype.
I'm not too sure about that. At the very least, it could have been a good game. Even if it had no connection to the beloved franchise, I still think it would have met a lukewarm reception at best for its lame gameplay. The plot was horrible, too, but that's not too bad considering the source material.
this is why Overhyping a game is retarded, case and point: Half-Life 3
its funny because beyond two souls is in my "Everyone hated but i loved" list
It wasn't bad (my opinion)
+Shiro CSGO Could just be because his opinion has changed since that video (its been a while since that vid)
Maybe he was disappointed with it but found strange that everyone hated it?
I really liked Beyond Two Souls except for how it dragged in the middle with the fairly pointless help the homeless and Navajo parts of the game.
Wow, that was some deep thought to 3D world and has me really thinking about that game...Real eye opener.
I felt the exact same way with Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly. I absolutely loved the first 3 Spyro games, even played them to completion like 5 times each. But this one, I couldn't even finish. I gave it like 10 minutes and felt like I wanted to go crash a car into a tree.
I actually really liked tag team racing. loved the various differnt park areas and tracks. and stunk parks were too fun
surprised MGS5 wasn't on here given its shitty incomplete story
This
+Mizticall Am I the only one who didnt hate MGSV's story? (other than the fact that it just randomly stops T_T)
Maybe its because people overcriticized it's story before i played it?
+Maxjk0 I personally loved the story - maybe not as memorable as MGS3 or 4, but still pretty neat with the return of interesting characters and such. But I did feel like it was missing something :/ Like I wish they`d showed some other characters as well and actually showed [SPOILER (?) ALERT] Big Boss creating the Outer Heaven from MG1 or Zanzibarland from MG2.
+Maxjk0 I don't hate it, it's just incomplete and skull face wasn't as intimidating as he could have been but i think his purpose lied somewhere else.
Do that list, Caddy. Do the top ten times Caddy fucked everything up.
+Glyphayel Talseek my problem is it didn't feel like a Crash game
So... what you're saying is that number 8 was a bad Mario Kart Double Dash, right?
You're pretty much on point with that statement.
Ehh kinda, at least Double Dash was fun. It's 2 item slots instead of 1 made it more chaotic and the character swap mechanic was added perfect unlike Tag Team.
Disappointing doesn’t mean bad
I want a 'Top 10 times caddy fucked up list' now.
Shady Doorags
The game itself was really good though. i like it because, hell. the flying was empty but so was hyrule fields in EVERY 3d zelda game. and i never really found a problem with motion controls. infact, i loved SS's. SSes? SS? IDFK! but still, i liked it alot. eh. ill always defend it.
+DragonZero XIII "it's the same as TP" lol noooo...
Am I the only one who thinks that the new thumbnails look worse than the older ones?
Nope
+Egor Bratukhin Nope. Mohawks are ugly, period.
Yes its bloody awful.
+Egor Bratukhin Probably not, nobody cares.
i think the problem is the eyes, they make him look smarmy
Why do you put Crash of the Titans in the thumbnail but you talk about Tag Team Racing? I also would like to see your review on Crash of the Titans.
There is also mind over mutants
Titans and Mutants get views.
Clickbait 😐
I’d like to see his opinion on how N.Gin was represented in that game. (Or not. I just hope he is on my side)
Wow, your account is older than I thought it would be.
+Cyberguy64 Love the cat suits .

+Larry Bundy Jr I'm honestly surprised they haven't made an HD remake of Mario Galaxy!
Mario games are made to destroy friendships if you play with random strangers the impact and half of the fun is gone
also nice to see you here
11:10 That certainly sounds like you doing that voice.😂
If they made a HD Sunshine remake I would jump for joy *That game was my childhood*
No. We don't need an online Mario game. Next, you'll be saying Nintendo is stupid for not becoming a third party publisher already.
I actually liked the soundtrack and gameplay for CTTR, but yet again we all have our own opinions.
I half expected you to say Undertale in #2 x'DDDD
+sai-shou Me too omg xD
+sai-shou Caddy's already stated before that he will not play it because the fanbase gave him excessive demands to play it, as well as the fanbase spoiling the game for him
Did you know that every game on this list is a prequel to Undertale
Sadly, I have to agree with you on 3D World.
Me too. I got it for my birthday along with the wii u. You know, it was good but nowhere as good as all the other 3d mario games
Carl Filion I bought it for myself around... I think mid 2014?
3D World was good, but... it was linear. 64 and Sunshine were not linear.
The 64th Shadow I would've put New Super Mario Bros. 2 for 3DS
*sigh*
But again - My opinion. Color Splash and Paper Jam count as probably bigger disappointments if anything. (obviously)
linear like the original 2D games?
I freaking love this fanbase here you guys are so understanding 10/10
Honestly, there's always a chance that any of these could be either remade or redone as another game, but better, at least in your eyes. Who knows? Perhaps the people who played a part in developing these games might be watching this video and take your feedback into account for future games. Thanks for the video Caddy. :)

Top ten times Caddy fucked everything up?
I WANT THAT TO BE THE NEXT TOP TEN SO BAD
Two words- Majora's Mask. Everyone talked about how wonderful it was. You know, the atmosphere and stuffs. But, I just couldn't get past the whole time constraint. How can I take in the "atmosphere" if I have no time to do so because I have to keep moving otherwise everyone dies? If you like this game, I can understand. I just…don't.
Play the Song of Time?
Caddy, I'm not mad... I'm just _disappointed_. HA! :D
A new setlement needs ours help

My worst disappointed in my gaming experience/ history: losing all my games and only being able to recover a small number of them when my PCs crashed in 2018.
I can think Paper Mario: Sticker Star was my most disappointing game, mostly because i went in thinking it was like the other paper mario games.
#MakePaperMarioGreatAgain
***** Whats that?
+Lord Shonji yeah and ever since sticker star we havent gotten anything like the real paper mario games. i mean paper jam is a fun game but its a mario and luigi game and it really doesnt have the paper mario elements that i love
+Lord Shonji a new paper mario game about painting stuff and empty lands to visit for like 5 minutes
sticker star 2
It's a shame that we'll never get a continuation of the Paper Mario trilogy.
No offense but I don't think they'll combine these two things anytime in the future,
+The Unusual Suspect You do realize you pretty much described the Mario RPG games
TheWolfgabe I know. But when have the main games ever done this though?
Now you must do the Top 10 Surprisingly Good Games.
13:18 “It’s gameplay, BE HAPPY”
17:12 “Oh, that’s disgusting”
For a second I thought you said Alien Isolation when you said Colonial Marines. I had already started sharpening my pitchfork.
I demand a 'Top 10 Times Caddy Fucked Up' video

“Hold my beer”
Is 3d world really a game that people would hate you for not liking? It's just another mario game pretty much.
yes it is
"just another mario game"
yes
Even though I kinda hate you for number 2 I still respect your choice. And looking back, most of what you say about it is true, even though most people (me included) don't WANT to see or realize it. I still love it though :') And I do agree on number one
I didn’t grow up with ocarina of time. I was born in 2002. I played that game for the first time last year on original hardware. I’m not saying it’s perfect.
But it’s one of my favorite games now and the ending gives me feels. Even on n64 I think it’s held up pretty well. Idk I like old games but I love the game

My #1 is Crash: Mind Over Mutant.
My fault for ever thinking a modern Crash game could be good.
+woutmees Nitrus Brio character was so hyped for nostalgia lovers.

Caddi you bloody rock man!Cheers!
I'm more disappointed by Paper Mario Sticker Star than my dad is of me. And that's saying a lot.
Bad day?
+McMardrik ok that's just dark and cruel
+Jenson Smith Straight up
+McMardrik and they're making it again for wii u
3D world was so forgettable i just had to look through my wii games to see if i had it.
Davey Evans Wii U not Wii
Marioman303 as if there's really much of a difference
*GASP* YOU TAKE THAT BACK
Lol! Same but instead I looked through my 3DS collection and kept getting frustrated when I kept seeing "Land" on the Boxart cover instead of "World".
@@thadmaster7 FINGERNAILS FINGERNAILS FINGERNAILS
Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon is one of my most disappointing games, it does the basic things from Luigi's Mansion right, but in the rest it fails, like having ghosts with personalities, being able to walk through the whole house without level restrictions, those are the things it should've had. But instead you have ghosts that are the boss of 1 level, and minibosses later on. The multiple houses excited me when i first heard about them, thinking how great it would be to just walk through them and admire the house itself, but instead i got a level based system and a rope that went into the ground.
Very true that was a major disappointment for me
The level based thing is happening a lot to Nintendo now unfortunately.
@@Jdudec367 plus there is at least one place where ghosts could be considered portrait ghost level, the three lady's with the mirrors
+Charlesguy64 so 3d land for ds is ok then as its handheld?
Ladylilith64. I totally agree.
Shocking that Fallout 4 wasn't on this list.
I don't find it that disappointing but I have fallout 3 and I'm having more fun in 4
Fallout four is probably my favourite game up there with Skyrim

If Caddy plays fallout for the same reasons that I do, then Fallout 4 wasn't a disappointment at all. It's an open world to explore and experience, and I was satisfied.
3:50 The finest Caddy moment there ever was.
I'm so happy there weren't any FIRSTs
first

My personal choice is the last of us i think it was too over rated and i did not find the story too great but thats my choice please don't hate me.
+Name no one understands with creepy profile picture we must fortify the barricades, the tsunami of hate comments is arriving, dont just stand there you fool, FORTIFY!
i kinda wanna see a "top 10 times caddy fucked up" list
did not expect THAT game to be your no 1...
It's fun to see how people have different takes on games. I fully agree with everything you said about 3D world, but I still think it's one of the best local multiplayer experiences I have ever had. In fact, it was so good, it actually reanimated my relationship with my beloved wife after almost losing her to a stupid mistake. I'm eternally grateful for this, and I genuinely believe I wouldn't be nearly as happy without it
You cheated?
