Has anybody noticed, and I'm not sure if it's in all difficulty levels, as Leon and Ashley head for the main village area from the Village Chief house, just before the savage mutt fight. Now, let's say about 10 metres before you get to the village area double doors, higher up in a place where the player can't access normally, somebody spots you and then runs away. You only see this person, a male I'm sure, for about a second or two. I'm currently doing a castellan clockworks collecting play through and when I'm finished I'll have another run through and see if he appears. I don't think it's Luis. This person is not in the dark brown leather jacket. I don't know if it's a village ganado. If so, what's he doing up there. He doesn't try to attack you.

I finally got round to checking this out. In my post I was talking about events in Chapter 5 when you are with Ashley, and about to deal with the savage mutt, after leaving the village chief's manor. I started the game from new today and in Chapter 3 there's a similar situation where you leave the manor and go back to the village area (and that tall spire collapses). Today, during Chapter 3, I saw a ganado (wearing a flat cap) on the unreachable high wall just to the right of the double doors. The wall I talked about in my first post. Never noticed this before. On I go to Chapter 5, keeping my eye out for whoever it was on the high wall that I talked about in my first post, and I didn't see anybody. I loaded my save a few times to triple check. So I'm not sure what happened. Maybe I got confused with the chapters.
i know im a bit late but do you knwo if there are any youtube videos i could watch to see these weird entity people watching you from afar?
I think they're just the village ganados watching for when Leon is coming to warn the others to blow up the tower

Actually you just need to be in the room that Ada sees you from the Big Cheese, because I didn't activate the ladder and I went back outside and the dog was there and ran to the village square

Weird thing is the icon was inside the mansion so I looked inside nothing. Interacted with everything upstairs then went outside heard him howl then looked around and saw him so I tried sneaking up to him but he ran away and disappeared. Glitch maybe?

What do I do if there is no ladder… there’s no ladder!! Is my game broke. I’m on my third play through and there’s no ladder!!

@@Deflagration I had Ashley & the ladder show up on the map but not in game…
There’s a loose framed picture on the wall to the left of the ladder, you gotta knock the picture loose and pull a lever behind it first.

You forgot to show the lever behind the frame necessary to make the latter appear!!! You made me waste a play through, i thought it was a glitch when the ladder was missing.
