ok i have watched quite a few videos showing how to do these, but no commentary, so no explanation of what's going on, then i saw this wonderful tutorial. FYI for the level 3 challenges - you can shoot the dynamite and still get the dead eye skull. So no need to shoot those separately.

I am not very far in the game yet. Just tried the first shooting range. But this video showed me, that I dont have to aim for the head like in the OG.

Tmp is literally impossible. The shots spread so much even with controlled shooting.
you basically have to get lucky from the third bullet and on, it's dumb
I found what helps is to just do it as fast as possible. I got an S rank even after shooting sailers.

One thing that I found helps for 4C on PC is to open the attache case before the round begins and changing the shortcut of the SMG to 4 rather than the shotgun. That way the beginning part will be in order of 1 2 3 and it makes remembering what to reload easier.

That crossbow part holy very rage inducing. After getting all the deadeye first thing im doing is sell the crossbow
Sell it anyway, you don't need to own weapons to use them in the shooting range. It'll also prevent bolts from dropping instead of more desirable ammo boxes.
I only have 4-A & 4-C to get, this guide has helped me S rank some I was missing before! These last two are hard though!
The guide helped a lot. This guy shoots expertly, and makes it look easy. Don't expect to get them the first go around. Took me a few attempts on most of them. The red 9 and striker ones were the ones I got S the first timr around out of the initial one. The pure tmp one is a headache.
You don't have to make all the shots this guy does, just enough to get to bonus time, which is pretty much a guaranteed S rank if you reach it.

I like how they made the shooting rangr much more challening than OG Re4. OG only had little salazar bonuses, and aiming with laser for every weapon made it super easy. Here it's mostly waiting the sights to center, and controller movement and aim is to slow amd hard to keep up.
