I always jump around at shows and get wierd looks these days while everyone else is standing still with their phones out. Boring people
Festivals and shows with no phones policy (stickers over cameras) are so much better!

The band seems secondary to the main event: the stage dive. I love a lot of the bands, but I hated this era so much. I can’t imagine playing to such an enthusiastic crown of privileged posers, and having to pretend to be into it. Mudhoney seems bored. There is absolutely no connection between them and this audience. This is why I quickly departed for hardcore around this time. This is why Fugazi had so many problems at their shows in the 90s. Everyone thinking they’re in a Pearl Jam video
