I personally use the rotary blade and 'denim' setting on my Cricut Maker for heavy fabrics. For older models, like the Air 2, you can use the regular blade and the 'Felt: Wool Felt' setting.

You are awesome! Love your energy! I haven't used my cricut air 2. I just recently got the brother scan and cut it should be able to cut through it well. Im definitely a new subbie!
With the explore air 2 there is a “faux leather (paper thin)” setting it works way better and cuts twice! But if you have a new blade you need to turn the pressure to “less” because it will cut your mat.
Quick question... do you have need a deep cut blade? Or the fine point one it comes with it?

These are adorable 😍 but omg what am I missing? I have a crafts glue gun and it's a perpetual mess to use it...glue string and blobs everywhere. Everyone else makes using glue guns look so darn easy 😭
What is the other glue you use for next day? Besides the glue gun.

I don't have a circuit yet I have a pattern from another UA-camr that makes these bows. Hopefully soon I will get a circuit because I can't a straight line to save my life lol!
Im trying to make these but my darn machine wont cut the material evenly. It only cuts half of it or rather one side deeper than the other.. ive tried mirroring it but i just dont know what im doing wrong. help! i have the explore air 2

Do you use one blade for each type of leather? I mean by the durability of the blade. I asked it because here in Brazil the blades is very, Very, Very expensive.

Wish I knew what setting to cut it on with my silhouette.
Leatherette or faux leather for fabric setting , depth of 10 for blade, 2 to 3 passes and speed I believe on mine is 33 :)

I get mine at hobby lobby, over in the ribbon section. They are usually sitting on an end cap.

What glue is good for Metallic holographic faux leather I make some boys and hot glue and tacky glue did not work when I put the small bow on top of the big one
I may would try a little bit of E6000, and a clamp for that. A clothes pin would work just fine to clamp it together until the glue sets up.

I just started with my Cricut maker and have wanted to make bows! If anyone can answer this that would be great. Do you prefer the rotary blade over the deep cut blade to make them? Or do they essentially work the same. Thanks anyone!!! :)
I myself prefer the rotary blade, it just seems like it makes smoother cuts when turning corners or curves

You can get the pattern and cut it out. Some UA-camrs have them to download for free
