    The download doesn't work for me. The installation page is fragmented, like it's missing 50% of the border of the page. Just freezes on that page.

    I bought the 3mp Amcrest Ultra HD as an upgrade from Samsung Smartcam HD Pro but the Amcrest will not record unless phone push notifications are on,,, using this cam at my office I need it to record motion events even if i have phone notifications off, The Samsung will record events with phone push notifications off, - why will the Amcrest not record motion events unless phone push notifications are on ? ?

    When i click on "Default Group" my camera don`t show up ! Any suggestions ?

    I am using Amcrest Pro Surveillance software and have connected the camera, setup the pc-nvr, and allocated space on my hard drive. Live view works fine, but I can not figure out how to actually start recording video or setup motion detection. There seems to be nothing on your website or youtube on how to actually start recording video with motion detection. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    If you have an sd card can you save playback video from there to your PC?

      Yes you can view video from your SD card on your PC, as long as you have an SD card reader.

      So does that mean that I would have to manually remove the SD card and insert it into my PC?

      oscar martinez oscar martinez sorry amcrest reply was so brief, not sure why they don't like going into details to help people on UA-cam but here we are. To answer your question, no you can download the videos using their web user interface on your computer as well. As far as I can tell you cannot download directly to your phone. you can review the footage but so far I haven't found out a way to save the video clip directly to the phone itself. I'll update this for others if I come across the solution.

      That 30 minute cap is so unfortunate. For my purposes even just 10 minutes more would have been sufficient for me. Like technical support recommended I added a microSD card which removed that limitation, but what wasn't clear during our talk is that the Surveilance Pro is still limited to 30 minutes at a time for manual recordings. So I had to use a card reader. My hope is to figure out how to configure the FTP server function so that I can avoid memory card shuttling back and forth.

      Peter Thach device means your using an sd card and local is using your pc to store the videos. Local is not working i called texh support and cant fix it.

    I dont know my username and password for login. What do i do?

      it should be in default admin/admin unless you already created a pw and forgot it. You can reset the amcrest camera by holding that green button in the back of the camera until it turns red and reinstall the app to start over again
