    It is good that you covered that method for rolling up the rope using a figure 8. It is working out well for me.

      Good, it really is pretty easy, but a lot of people (myself included) aren't familiar with that technique.

      I ordered it from R&Wrope. I had them sew a 6"eye on one end. It should be here next week... They are the only game in town I guess. Have to wait 3 weeks for them...

    You provided another great and timely (for me) video. Great job! Just last night I was rolling up and practicing how I will store my 40 feet of rope.
    I will probably buy or build a roll pouch to try. There are several people online who tell you how to make your own roll pouch, but there are also several people who are also making them and selling them. It is great that Timothy Conrad and others are selling them.

    Anyone know if the Timothy Conrad linked in the description is still making these? I followed the link and the only indication the person has any connection to archery at all is his profile picture. There's no mention of the roll pouches or pictures. Don't want to bother the guy is he isn't making them.

    Nice pouch, but I’m liking a turkey vest or a dove hunting vest, dove vest is even lighter, but the turkey vest by STRUT has A LOT of pockets for all kinds of stuff, and plenty large pockets for saddle in the back, and ropes on the sides and numbers pouches and attachment points for flashlights, knives, rangefinder, prusiks, etc and distributes the weight nicely,

    • @SaddleHunter
      @SaddleHunter  3 роки тому +1

      I've heard of guys using the turkey vest. It's certainly a viable option. If they made one that carried sticks well everyone would own one.

    You can do the "hand to elbow" wrap and just fold that in half like u did with the figure 8 lol.

    • @sigeptexaskappa1

    I would suggest getting in the habit of always having the safeguard attached to your rope...after you retrieve your rope attaching it back on because you wouldn't want to lose that precious peace of equipment.
