It's Friday (night for me) once again and time to watch some these kind of videos once again. I love these videos like this, the best part is that only the squeeze-gees are the most satisfying. If there's a compilation of it, I'll never get tired of it and listen to it everyday. Nice video as always! ❤
People be hatin on this rug but I love it! Chevron is one of my favorite patterns. And it is bright. Would make for an interesting accent in the right room. 😉
am just amazed that all of those rugs look like they layed on the ground of a river. and are all hella muddy... well fun to watch em get cleaned nonteless
This fella was holding on to that dirt even up to the end. Those thick tufted fibers and medium pile made it difficult, but in the end, there was success compared to the beginning.
Thank you for a new video even in the time of the Rauhnächte. (Here in Germany the time when, among other things, the Wild Hunt is up to mischief and the spirit realm is open). Hope you and your family had a great Christmas. Thank you for a year full of wonderful, relaxing, beautifully filmed carpet scrubbing videos. Have a happy new year.
@@MountainRugCleaningi did notice that this rugbseemed thinner, and like it was moving and almost warping more along the edges than others. I wondered about that in your choices tbh. Like, how thick and solid and generally hogh quality does a rug have to be just to SURVIVE all this? Because, I've actually had rugs that got BAD, but i only get cheap ones and while i do take and hose them and clean them outside, i could never expect them to survive all THIS 😅 Tbh, i generally hosenthe heck out of them, scrub them with something bio-friendly (because it's all draining right to my yard), hose and "push" tons of water again, and then just... let it sit in thensun, on a clean tarp, until its dry and been "sun bleached". I find the sun really does a lot of good as long as i dont mind the UV damage and color fading etc (AND I get it in if it's gonna rain lol) Obviously, if the dirt is pet or human bodily fluids (sickness happens folks) I'm far more likely to just toss it. But still... i definitely could seenthe rug starting to cry for mercy! 😂😂 As long as it's not stinky with excrement or mold etc though, it's perfectly usable! Just maybe "back room" usable, and id maybe choose to sun bleach it if i could 😊

Valiant effort on this rug, James, sometimes it's best to stop before permanent damage is done by prolonged cleaning. I'm sure it can be used somewhere. 🥰❤
Thank you so much! 🥰❤ I completely agree-sometimes it’s better to know when to stop rather than risk causing permanent damage. Even if it’s not perfect, the rug can still have a second life somewhere, and that’s what makes the effort worthwhile.
@@QueenMonny well, to be fair, it's not the channels fault at all. It's the whole UHC situation. And people have been crawling out from under their rocks, and bashing channels for using a Luigi (or similar) in their channels. So if Mr. Mountain cleaning, decides to give Lusqueegee a break, I can see why. I personally think people are stupid, for going after channels, with the likelyhood of a Nintendo character. @@ShovelKorp85 I still have literally no idea what you're talking about. I don't follow social media or the news or anything else that might possess this information. 😅 But thank you for trying to explain it anyway. 🙂
I'm wondering if an A frame to drape the rug over, would be helpful? That way when spraying it, the dirt would fall off and land on the ground, instead of staying on the rug. The rug would need to be wet and have the first soap and machine treatment to loosen the dirt. I'd bet that after you roll the rug and stand on it, that would be the ideal time to drape it over an A frame, to blast the loosened dirt off with the sprayer. Then gravity would help pull the dirt off, and you wouldn't need to use as much water, because as water flows from the top of the frame, the water would wash the dirt down, and it would fall off the rug.
I apologise if you've had this question many times before: during this process, can some of the dye seep out? At the end, with the little drags of dirt still lingering, I always wonder if it's some of the dye after all that scrubbing! Also, I just subscribed. Love your videos; arguably the best rug cleaner out there ❤
Have you thought about redoing the floor in epxoy? It would be smooth (no creases in the plastic to get caught and tear), durable, waterproof, and very easy to clean.
I had sleepless nights 🌜when I was four years old and had been sleepwalking👣 for twenty eight years but also had insomnia 🥱at sixteen but I love how these videos you make me feel better so it doesn't happen again.😍😍😍
That first close up shot, the rug looks like it sat in a huge cow patty for a decade. Amazing the great job you did. Love it. That rugs looks disgusting. Does it smell as bad as it looks?
Can we get intros for the cleaning team? I’m very invested in R2 Clean2 and Dirt Reynolds, but feel like I could know more about the rest of the team. Also, has Dirt Reynolds considered wearing seasonal hats?
I've been wondering for a few videos whether I should leave a comment, but now that the hat is on the dirt reynolds I would like to make the suggestion to rename it to "dirty reynolds"
2 things. 1. I think it might be time for a new vinyl liner for your work area. 2. Your process has changed so much from a year or two ago, do you ever think about putting your subtitles back?
I reckon a proper workshop floor sealant would be a better option - the truck workshop I used to work at had their concrete floor power-scrubbed, acid washed, then sealed with this paint that sets into a very hard, very tough plastic layer like a truckbed liner kid of thing, highly resistant to all sorts of stuff. Still looked like new 4-5 years later when I left.
Look, if a rug is that filthy, it will be permanently cursed no matter how hard or long you scrub. Once a rug gets tainted, you can never trust it again.

@@MountainRugCleaning I'm not a professional rug cleaner. Or even an amateur rug cleaner. But it feels like the process is more labour intensive than it necessarily needs to be. Are the different colors of soap for different fibers or just fir fun?
Mostly fun but some do have extra additives, like oxygen boosters or sanitisers.
The blue crystals look like copper sulphate, which kills algae. I'm guessing that's what they are, but I don't know for sure.
