@@DrInterior What you saw when you tried to burn it is the melting process as it is low temperature. The smoke generated while melting is toxic. (Carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, styrene etc). This burns only at high temperatures somewhere above 425 degree Celsius. All said, this is considered one of the promising materials for insulation, if manufactured without toxic substances.
