Intel have more better gaming performance than AMD but if you looking for laptop amd is the king because AMD have more thread and cores than Intel. Laptop use for work at home or for school so gaming performance was not that important

That decompression test is faster on the Mi laptop bcoz of the SSD, as even 1st gen ryzen is faster than intel in decompression. Really glad you are doing these different videos these days, as smartphones are getting boring. Keep 'em coming...
@Sai Deekshith i am a civil engineer i ran AutoCAD on my laptop which has i5 processor. It was fine. It will work even better in ryzen5. But if u are going to run FEM softwares go for ryzen7
@Sai Deekshith Ryzen 5, also if you have a higher budget go for a thin and light gaming laptop if possible(Razer Blade, Zephyrus g14 etc.) because the extra GPU muscle will help. Otherwise a Ryzen 5/7 should run you fine,(also the performance difference between a 4500u and 4700u isnt that much). I got a flex 5 with Ryzen 5 for 60k, i love the pen(it's a proper wacom pen with pressure sensitivity), also lets me make notes.

For majority it is over all speed of the system. On that part I would say that he has done a pretty good comparison and I am assuming a lot of others would agree with me on this. No one buys Intel these days, even the laptop manufacturers should stop using Intel's processor. AMD are far ahead from Intel's league. And Intel doesn't even have anything that can be compared with the mighty Threadripper series. And I don't like MI products at all I thought you was supporting Intel and MI products. Most of the people in India who can't afford iPhone, Samsung and Pixel states that MI is a lot better than their devices. I have Asus Vivobook x505za with Ryzen 5 2500u. And I do a lot of video editing, even 4k sometimes. I haven't noticed any lag issues in 1080p video editing, it is seamless. For 4k there are some frame drops and lag issues but that's okay if you have patience. The laptop was for 35k without SSD, I have installed SSD 250gb and it works fluently. Earlier when I didn't had SSD, 8 min video use to take 20 min to render but now it just take 5 to 6 min.
I shifted from an intel processor to amd and been using amd since last few months . Feel like Amd has been exceeding my expectations . Great performance I would say .

Not only processor but brand also maters. MI known for its cheap electric products and at the same time ASUS is known for its gaming pc performance(Obviously gaming pc has better processors). Otherwise, in real life both processors have very nominal diffrence in terms of speed as well as performance.
In processor: AMD> intel In graphics card: Nvidia >AMD>intel In all these, AMD is bit cheaper. In my experience, Price to performance ratio of the AMD is excellent compared to others . And Nvidia is always overpriced . In short, Red>green(in case of GPU)
I never understood these laptop processors compared to processors used on the mobile. I was always in a state of mind that Intel is better, now I have changed my mind. A good video for general knowledge.

Great to see 'AMD vs Intel' battle coming to GeekyRanjit! I would suggest sharing the laptop specs clearly in the video. Here Ryzen won inspite of worse hardware specs (No SSD & GPU) but in other such comparisons the differences in peripheral hardware can confound the conclusions.
The problem is with Intel using its influence on the market to force manufacturers to undersell AMD. I still have to dig deeper to find AMD offerings on websites.
The fact that there are different number of cores for each processor and he compares time, is biased, according to me. I think the competition will be fair if he compares 6 v 6 cores and not 6 v 4. 2 cores make a hell of a difference which was eventually visible in the timings.
I am an AMD user since 2005..........mostly working with 3D design & simulation platforms.......Have used AMD series from Sempron, Athlon, Phenom....& now Ryzen.........It has always offered me amazing robustness, flexibility & speed

Windows laptops do perform best when they are plugged in and also it is recommended for video rendering and gaming you should do it with plugging in the charger. You should try this out.

Note: ik that i have gone with zen+ architecture processor but i don't waana buy a gpu right now. Especially when the pricing of gpus r madly up..! I know ur channel content is different but still hear me out i need expert advise. . I bought a new laptop(ASUS TUF FX504GM) which has two video cards nvidia gforce gtx 1060 and integrated graphics by Intel ... Now the problem is the display of laptop is connected with integrated graphics .. so whenever I run something heavy like games or rendering something ... Laptop hits up as integrated Intel graphics run and CPU as well ... I tried various things like 1.Changing display settings through nvidia control panel .. 2. Disableling integrated graphics driver 3.I tried changing through bios but there was no such option .. Whenever I connect external display it works fine with nvidia . Laptops dosent heat up .. So in conclusion i want u to suggest mi how exatly can I change my display driver from integrated to nvidia graphics ... Ur videos r grt btw..!
compression tests are CPU heavy workload but in all fairness if its not the same laptop with the same other components its flawed yes. Same goes for the battery life - do they even have the same mAh battery?
ok i looked at it again, todays m.2 ssds have read/write of ~1500MB/s - its a 300MB file with write speeds of 100KB to 6MB/s during the test. the faster ssd shouldnt make that much difference here

The problem is with Intel using its influence on the market to force manufacturers to undersell AMD. I still have to dig deeper to find AMD offerings on websites.
The fact that there are different number of cores for each processor and he compares time, is biased, according to me. I think the competition will be fair if he compares 6 v 6 cores and not 6 v 4. 2 cores make a hell of a difference which was eventually visible in the timings.
Intel has been a joke for the last 2 years.

I am an AMD user since 2005..........mostly working with 3D design & simulation platforms.......Have used AMD series from Sempron, Athlon, Phenom....& now Ryzen.........It has always offered me amazing robustness, flexibility & speed

Windows laptops do perform best when they are plugged in and also it is recommended for video rendering and gaming you should do it with plugging in the charger.
You should try this out.

I bought a new laptop(ASUS TUF FX504GM) which has two video cards nvidia gforce gtx 1060 and integrated graphics by Intel ...
Now the problem is the display of laptop is connected with integrated graphics .. so whenever I run something heavy like games or rendering something ... Laptop hits up as integrated Intel graphics run and CPU as well ...
I tried various things like
1.Changing display settings through nvidia control panel ..
2. Disableling integrated graphics driver
3.I tried changing through bios but there was no such option ..
Whenever I connect external display it works fine with nvidia . Laptops dosent heat up ..
So in conclusion i want u to suggest mi how exatly can I change my display driver from integrated to nvidia graphics ...

compression tests are CPU heavy workload but in all fairness if its not the same laptop with the same other components its flawed yes. Same goes for the battery life - do they even have the same mAh battery?
ok i looked at it again, todays m.2 ssds have read/write of ~1500MB/s - its a 300MB file with write speeds of 100KB to 6MB/s during the test. the faster ssd shouldnt make that much difference here

Ryzen has extra cores and it is expected to be bit faster than i7. Intel does good job with single core while amd does good job with multi cores.
