I had no idea the microphone cable would reach its plug if you ran it under the cartridge slot. I always run it below the motherboard. Ive also been putting the springs on the triggers wrong. This was really insightful thank you!
Not bad. I like how you molded the broken piece back. Although there's supposed to be light shining through it, how would you know if the battery is low? I personally would've replaced the bottom screen too, but that's just me being a perfectionist.
What impressed me was salvaging the original case. For originality sake I really love this. The molded piece was very clever and since underneath the paint it is a TRANSPARENT epoxy all that was needed to be done was to scrape away a little paint in the 2 LED light holes. That would have been really cool
I have the Nintendo 3ds still working. But the Nintendo ds has a broken screen on top and the battery no longer connects to the Nintendo. I don't know who to ask to fix it 😥
Wow the mold you made is perfect!! Glad you made it instead of entirely replacing it..!!! Very nice job! Bravo!

Great video! I'm currently trying to start doing my own restauration and your video is really insightful
Looks great, well done!
This was satisfying to watch and a goated game to go along with the video
you can buy replacement case, the old original case is brittle and breaks, no matter how you glue it, it is a broken material

That's some dentistry.
Brilliant work
Damn what a good video 🍞
2:19 Did you break the clip? 🙀
🤣😱
Yes, the flap popped off. I stopped and went back for another look too. It's crazy frustrating but it's possible to get it back in.
finally i found someone has the same problem
É uma pena a tinta não ter aderido bem na resina :(
I have one just like that!

cool!! You're doing great do more restoration :)
My all time favorite transformers game! 🔥👍💯🔥
this is what happend too my ds beside it being dirty my shell is clean it just the hing wear off over time
you can get a new shell the old and is going to fall apart plus it looks bad
Mine broke in exactly the same place!!
bro just replace the housing
How many hours did you spend refurbing the shell? A replacement shell runs $15 - $20 and would have looked much nicer.
I have same one ply can you restore my game
Looks horrible im afraid.
