I hope that I get an opportunity to see "President Raskin" in my lifetime. He is brilliant. He would make an amazing Supreme Court Justice, but I would hate to have him tucked away, and not get to witness his brilliance. I could listen to him talk any time. He is absolutely fascinating, wise and has a wealth of knowledge to share. It tickles me how he handles crazies, with a smile and a lesson, and he's always a class act. I'm going to be 69 in 2 weeks. My country had a Congress that worked together no matter what party they belonged. My country was built on COMPROMISE. For those of you that don't know what that word means, look it up. If you don't believe me, go back to 5th grade American History. I don't know what is being taught today but, in 1966 COMPROMISE was #1 and 5th graders better learn it and never forget it! I have never forgotten.
None of us is always right. It's give and take. It's tolerance. Acceptance. Liberty. Freedom.
Republicans and Democrats weren't enemies. No party was better or worse. They would POLITELY battle issues during the day and then go out for a drink in the evening. They COMPROMISED for me and my country. You know? The United States of America?
One more thing. Members of The US Congress, please stop referring to each other as "The Other Side Of The Aisle"! There are no "Aisles". You are "Colleges".

And second I want to say I'm glad I'm not the only one that is upset about how our politicians are not getting the point of how this country should be. I remember when I was little ( I'm 72 years old now) and my mom and dad would get together with their FRIENDS over a game of cards. And a lot of time there would be a conversation about politics. My parents, I do believe were Democrats and the friends were Republican. Yet they met every week to play cards and still be frie.nds.
