8:57, and also, I think that your idea for the Painted Lady facade would work very well, but to make it a more all-around themed area, Imagineering could turn the Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta into an only pizza restaurants, similar to the one where Riley and her mom get the terrible pizza (except it's Disney, they can probably make it good). It would be an unnecessary addition, but it would be nice nonetheless. Just throwing in my two cents.
Congratulations Garrett! You've won the DSNY Newscast Pin for this video! Message me your address details on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram and I'll send the Pin out soon! - Jack
@@DSNYNewscast Okay, I'm sorry, I haven't had a lot of time recently to check back to UA-cam, but I wanted to know if it is too late to receive the pin, and if not you should probably be hearing from me via Instagram. Thank you!
The Epcot Cranium Command idea is pure genius! I love the tallied control center that would change the experience based on the audiences choices. Very cool.
I hope Disney Imagineering watches this video! I love all of these ideas, but especially the re theming of Journey Into Imagination in such a way that it ties Inside Out together with the old version of the ride that people miss!
The track of the Train of Thought in the movie could've been shown visible forever so the train wouldn't fall off and cause Joy and Bing-Bong to land in the Dump of Forgotten Memories which also causes Bing-Bong to sacrifice himself to help Joy complete her quest with Sadness back to the headquarters.
I love the Journey into Riley's Imagination idea because it would mean a return of the original track which everyone wants, and it would be the first IP-Original-combined attraction. Also Figment and Bing Bong would make an iconic duo.
Excellent content, Jack! It's great to hear your innovative concepts and brainstorming to get the creative juices flowing for us Waltineers. Looking forward to more Waltineering videos!
Might be out there- but I think it'd be awesome to integrate the "memory bubbles" with the Photopass system. Whether it be a visual retheming of MyDisneyExperience's Photo Section to look like the memory bubbles, or if Disney was able to "preserve a memory" by placing a picture in a physical bubble as a souvenir. I think it'd be such a unique way to show how you're making memories at Disney, and it channels the core themes of Inside Out
LOL! I laughed so hard when you apologized for the bad acting. I didn't think so at all! I love it when you do creative intros like this, Jack! I think your ideas are fantastic, and I'm looking forward to more of this Waltineering series. I have to be honest that it is a struggle for an EPCOT Center kid like me (I've been going since 1985) at the thought of an Imagination ride that isn't just based around Dreamfinder and Figment, but I think your idea really brings a harmony between the two concepts of Figment and Inside Out. I definitely lean more towards the Cranium Command idea, but both ideas are lovely in the fact that they both pay tribute to EPCOT's past. And your idea for a DCA ride is beyond fantastic, especially with having a painted ladies facade to hide the massive show building. Great job, Jack! I'm looking forward to hearing more of your awesome ideas!
Inside Out is also considered the world's first e-motion picture. My next idea for the world of Inside out would be: a screen where you can see your own emotions and personality islands just like in the movie. They may make an Inside Out 2 where Riley, once again loses her emotions but out of the world of her mind as two new ones are formed to accompany Joy. This causes Riley to start a happy courageous life in San Francisco, have more fun, elude dangers and stand up against every situation for a solution as the rest of her emotions elude a scoundrel who hates emotions and return to her mind, restoring her normal traits.
8:57 I love Armchair Imagineering, keep them up. I like the idea of using the the Goofy's Sky School corner of the pier. The Inside Out ride could be a two part ride experience with the first part being a dark ride like Peter Pan where you would soar over the islands of personality on a tour. The tour would be interrupted because of a problem Riley is having. You would then enter a thought bubble (a second ride that a simulator style ride) where you would investigate and help Riley solve her problem, via interactive buttons on the armrests, and conclude the ride based on guest input.
8:58 I love your idea of keeping figment in imagination. Incorporating inside out along with figment would be amazing. I was at Epcot when it originally opened. So I definitely want to keep figment in that ride somehow.
Your UP idea is pretty good. The name you chose flows well too. Since the house flew, it also makes more sense than Inside Out, which is not a movie about flying. Your Inside Out ride idea is brilliant! “Train of thought”, not bad! And the California scenery to conceal a show building, very well thought out
8:58 I think Disney needs to hire you yesterday. Damn are those ride ideas good! I’d say repurpose the old ImageWorks upstairs in the Imagination pavilion to be Inside Out-themed. Repurpose the rainbow tunnel to be similar to the transition you were talking about, and just repurpose that unused space. It could be more aimed at younger children and also allow for the downstairs to be reworked into a Dreamfinder attraction, while also integrating Inside Out into the pavilion.
Your first idea was definitely the best/most probable. I loved your storyline and I have been saying for years that we really need to turn Cranium Command into Inside Out since they go so well together!! Next can you take a look at what an expansion of Galaxy’s Edge might look like?
That Journey Into Imagination overlay is so brilliant!! I would love that! Such a great facelift for a beloved ride! And a perfect fit for that pavilion
All of your ideas for an Inside Out attraction are amazing!!! If only Disney would listen. The worst part is, WDW would probably go the easy route and give the current Journey Into Imagination... with Figment a quick re-theme. No old track replaced. Just new visuals and music.
WALTINEERING, what an amazing idea for content. I've always appreciated your imagination for how ride concepts may be implemented and this series is the logical next step. Great form!
8:58 Love the waltineering concept. I was always against them having inside out take over imagination because I'm such a huge figment fan and the original ride. But I like your idea. Sounds fun and lets be honest imagination needs some love. Also really like the train of thought.
Love the idea of turning the spinner into an UP ride, I bet imagineering are kicking themselves for not seeing that. I would think a cranium command style ride sounds like the best option to me. It might be interesting to include a "were on a budget" ride option in your plans.
Your plan for the Imagination Pavillion is EXACTLY what I was thinking for it as well. Keep Figment and One Little Spark, integrate in Bing Bong, get rid of the "science" and Eric Idle (Sorry Eric...), Get back the full length of the track, and bring back that whimsy and wonder that the original ride had with a new character for the younger gen, but also keeping Figment for us older fans. I just didn't know HOW to make that all work and you came up with a brilliant plan to do that! I also like the idea for the brand new ride at DCA, though, I've seen ride throughs of Runaway Railway and I find it to be rather junky and confusing. It just doesn't make sense at all. I'm not sold on the 2.5D scheme. But anyway, thank you so very much for this video. These ideas definitely needs to be pitched at Disney at some point. Hopefully they watch this video.
8:58 I love your inside out ride ideas. My ideas for an inside out ride would be you are supposed to take a tour of Reilly’s head but Reilly has Mysteriously stopped moving and you and joy have to go on the train of Thought to find out way and it will have an original story and have Physical sets and be a trackless ride and it will replace goofy’s sky school. My Second idea is a dark ride retelling the story of inside out and it will replace monsters inc Mike and sully to the rescue.
Both the idea of combining Journey into Imagination and the idea based on Mickey and Minnie's run-away railroad sound amazing and I would love to ride any of those if they were brought to life! 8:57
I would love to see a Fight of Passage style ride, with the concept being that you are floating on a cloud from Cloud Town similarly to how Sadness did toward the end of the movie. Also, side note, I can't believe how realistic your concept art looks for all of this, but particularly the clip of Joy as the conductor. The amount of thought and work you put into this is astounding. (Also, hidden Mickey at 8:57)
8:57 I like some of these ideas. My ride would be an rollercoaster themed to the bing bong wheel wagon. It would be located at Hollywood Studios, and would use a similar ride system to Slinky Dog Dash. You would try to help Riley and the emotions out by saving them from the clown.
Jack this is PERFECT. I loved Inside Out so much! With your theater idea for " Riley's first date " to the Railway idea to Journey through Riley's Imagenation. This could be a whole Inside out Land!! I love all of it. You seriously need to be an imagineer!
I love these!!! Especially the idea of utilizing the MMRR system for it. I think it would be really cool to see any of these! You did a great job. I had the idea that you could do a Savi’s Workshop Styled Experience at both Pixar Pier and The Imagination Pavilion where guests would get to journey inside Headquarters and build their very own Core Memory Orb that displays their own pictures and videos inside. And Joy and Sadness would come and make comments on everyone’s work!
Love your ideas - especially the last one: "Train of Thought". It would be a fun ride, and a great way to explore the world of Inside Out. I love this series - please do more!
Hey! Jack! Leave my Figment alone! (think Pink Floyd's The Wall. Sorry I couldn't resist lol) . My favorite ideas are the Train of Thought and the re-working of a Cranium Command style attraction. I really enjoyed this show and the intro wasn't cringe worthy at all. :)
Ok here is my ideia on how to bring two Pixar’s histories to HS: up and inside out. The history is that Carl hears that another one of his favorite rides is about to close down (great movie ride). He’s kinda sad because it brings memories of many of his trips to wdw with his late wife. So, inside his head, anger takes command and decides to built his own ride. So the ride itself would be a mashup with many scenes of closed rides put together as in Carl’s imagination. The twist is that instead of a perfect scene from those old closed rides it would actually be a little off, not as it was but as Carl remembered it. Each scene would be one emotion inside Carl’s head remembering an old closed ride. It would be an awesome ride for new guests yet a very nostalgic one for old wdw fans who could revisited old rides. it could be anywhere in HS, maybe close to toy story land.
You are just so creative! How hasn't Disney hired you yet?? Love all of these ideas, but the Journey through Riley's Imagination is just genius! Can't wait for more Waltineering!
I’d love to have a new must-ride attraction in California Adventure- but I really want to keep Goofy’s Sky School and the Corn Dog Castle. Even though Goofy’s Sky School isn’t particularly inspired, I just love that coaster a whole lot, it’s always fun to go into the single rider cue and ride it over and over again. Plus, those corn dogs are amazing. Maybe if the ride was built behind the Incredicoaster, then there could be a large facade towering over the coaster, and down at the pier the entrance could be put near the Emotional Whirlwind area (which should probably be expanded to avoid congestion), and the LED tunnel that leads to the cue could start there. I love this series already, hope to see more very soon!
I feel like the area where Goofy's Sky School is likely gonna be reserved for a Coco dark ride, so a hypothetical Inside Out attraction would have to be in the area behind Pixar Pier.
From the time Inside Out came out in 2015, a new Cranium Command-style ride has been my dream outcome (not likely, though). With that in mind, I thought you did an amazing job fleshing that idea out here, especially in how you incorporated the audience participation element.
Some great ideas here. I like this Waltineering series! I’ve been spending some time this afternoon wondering why, with all the success of the Pirates movies, we never got any more modern PotC attractions (at least outside of the Asian parks). It’d be a great IP to see more of in the parks, with plenty of action and well-known characters. I’d love to hear your take on this in a future episode!
8:57 These are some great ideas! I really liked the Epcot idea with incorporating Figment and Journey Into Imagination into the world of Inside Out! It has this nostalgic feel that fans might love. Plus Joy and Sadness already have a residence at Epcot, so it works. I do like the train of thought idea as well.
8:57 My I idea is a motion simulator that would use the same technology as millennium falcon smugglers run, except the projection domes would be 48 feet, and vehicle would seat 8 passengers. It would use the same basic story line as your last idea with the train of thought with a few differences here and there. The pre-show would immerse you in the middle of headquarters, and involve projection faced animatronics. the technology just does not work on Frozen Ever After, but characters like Joy and Sadness are made of little sparks of light, so why wouldn't they glow.
Tehehehehe, that beginning. Cute, although Idk why all Jack's emotions have to look downward except joy.... at least Jack knows it was cringeworthy. ROFL Love your ideas! The Up themed ride now seems like a DUH moment. And the use of a "Geppeto Theater" (that's the style of simulator you are referring to) is lovely and on trend but delicate to the current climate with the pandemic! The Disneyland concept is interesting, but the Sky School option does keep the dilemma you mentioned of the same number of attractions (since Sky School goes bye-bye). Love the concept, but I'm not as sold on this particular style ride. I like the reimagining options for Epcot better, personally. I'd have to rewatch the movie to give you my idea on the matter, though. It's a little buried in my head as it's been a while (even though it is one of my FAVORITE Disney movies. I just don't have Disney+ so yeah).
I so agree, Jack. Disney imagineers have to have some ideas percolating about a fantastic Inside Out ride. With the bold colors and specific concepts they would be missing a great opportunity if they don't.
That would be awesome if they make an inside out ride! 😯 I wonder if they will plan any new attractions soon, with all of money they have lost during quarantine.
Amateur Imagineering is by far my favorite hobbie. I spend a fair amount of time on it and it heals my mind. Lol. I recommend to everyone. 🤷🏻♂️ Love your videos Jack! Post more ideas for rides! I'm still intrigued with that new system they'll use for Peter Pan in Tokyo. 🤔🤯
8:58 I love your dark ride idea but would have the train be a regular dark ride ride vehicle that would transition into a flying vehicle system like peter pans ride.
I think I would select your idea for the Cranium Command retheme but instead put it in the Magic Eye Theater next door to Journey into Imagination. Bing Bong would help tie in the imagination theme from the ride into the new show
10:46 Is there any possibility Tokyo Disneyland’s “Monsters.Inc Ride and Go Seek” install at California Adventure as a replacement of cheap/terrible/miserable/old Monsters.Inc ride? The attraction has been one of the most popular ride at TDR.
Kotaro Kato Okay...WHAT THE HECK DO YOU HAVE AGAINST MIKE AND SULLEY TO THE RESCUE?!! It is actually one of the Best dark rides in both parks! It’s reasonably brief (3 1/2 minutes) but does a much better job basically telling the entire story of the movie (like a good dark ride should)...and does so within the EXTREME constraints of having had to repurpose the TERRIBLE SuperStar Limo, keeping its ride layout and even some of the lousy animatronics (most of the CDA Agents are just the “celebrities” from the old ride with Yellow tarps over them, and YET IT WORKS!)...It’s a nice, fun little ride!
Yay! I’m going to love these new video series! I always love to hear about your ideas for the parks. I would also love to hear your version of lands too, whether it be a retheme or new land idea. (Personally I would I love to retheme Pixar pier back into a “regular pier” but heavily influenced with a Victorian theme, such as the grand Floridian)
8:57 If you REALLY wanted something similar to the wonders of life you could do a simulator! In the pre show you get shrunk down and then you get in a memory orb (simulator) and ride in it all the way down to long term memory!!! This would be a really cool simulation ride!!! They also could probably put it in where star tours is and make that area by backlot express into an inside out land with other attractions they could probably put the inside out show you mentioned in the Mickey shorts theater and turn the Olaf meet and greet into a inside out meet and greet
8:57. I loved your ideas. You make a good point that Up could have taken the Inside Out ride at Disney’s California Adventures. I do like your ideas related to the Epcot relocation. Your train of thought idea is pretty good. However, the location might be pretty hard to accomplish.
8:58. I think you concepts, and ideas are really cool Jack! My Inside out ride would be an Omnimover type attraction. And if Star Tour is moved the Galaxies edge, kI would put it in the exact same area where it was and it will be like the former Adventure Thru Inner Space and your going through Riley's Dreams, Islands and her Imagination🌈😁on Dream Buggies! The narrative is you need to help save one of the islands and she has a really bad nightmare with Joy and Sadness while Anger, Fear and Disgusted who try look calm her down after she's scarred out of her wits. The end of the rides meaning is, don't let bad memories bother you. Just blow them off, forget about them and make better memories to replace them. Thanks for another awesome video Jack!!
can they do any black cauldron stuffs in disney parks?like taran and eilonwy meet and greet, or a cinderella dark ride? or an alice in wonderland dark rdie for magic kingdom?
I trully believe the Magic Kingdom deserves more classic dark rides. 2 or at least 1. Alice would be great, or cinderella.... I also would love to see Sword in the Stone, Robin Hood, 101 dalmatians... there are many things to be build still... not EVERYTHING has to be an E-Ticket imo.
@@disneylover3434 I think Disney wants to forget this movie... but I totally think they should make a live-action of it, refresh things and then explore it for the parks. It could be great. But as it is now, it's quite challenging. Some people don't even know about this movie. 🤷🏻♂️
@@disneylover3434 they are great! Unfortunatly it wasn't so successful... I really wanna see them incorporated in the parks one day. But they have to be popular.
Jack! This Waltineering segment is great! For a minute there, I thought you worked as a Disney Imagineer. I look forward to seeing how you'll turn various Disney movies into rides!
8:59, I live all these ideas but especially the last idea as inside out is such a creative movie and needs more representation in the parks, and I feel like a dark ride with the train ride system would be amazing using the 2.5D technology is so good and fits the inside out brand so well. And the return of bing bong would be amazing, I do have a question though, if Disney saw this video would they be able to use any of these ideas in the park?? But once again amazing video!! Thanks jack
I loved this video so much !!! My daughter and I loved all your ideas including the UP ride instead of emotional whirlwind and the inside out ride ideas !!!♥️♥️♥️♥️ thank you, this is an awesome idea for a channel

Its a cool plot, but Disney would never mash-up two different Pixar IPs into a ride about a park's history...
Joy would be controlling the scene where Superstar Limo closed. Because we can all agree that ride had a favour being done to it when it closed.
You are just so creative! How hasn't Disney hired you yet?? Love all of these ideas, but the Journey through Riley's Imagination is just genius! Can't wait for more Waltineering!

It’d be a great IP to see more of in the parks, with plenty of action and well-known characters. I’d love to hear your take on this in a future episode!

These are some great ideas! I really liked the Epcot idea with incorporating Figment and Journey Into Imagination into the world of Inside Out! It has this nostalgic feel that fans might love. Plus Joy and Sadness already have a residence at Epcot, so it works. I do like the train of thought idea as well.
Love this new series!
Thoroughly enjoyed your armchair imagineering. Your ideas are well thought out and well, just perfect for the movie. Bravo sir!
Jack you have some of the best ideas. Inside Out would be a great addition to Epcot!!
Tehehehehe, that beginning. Cute, although Idk why all Jack's emotions have to look downward except joy.... at least Jack knows it was cringeworthy. ROFL
Love your ideas!
Disney needs to hire Jack as an Imagineer
yes
Jack...I am very impressed with the amount of detailed thought you put into the ride concepts you have and share...very well done!!!
OMG the UP! idea!!! I love the idea of seeing glowing balloons with small houses under them at nighttime! I love this series :)
I so agree, Jack. Disney imagineers have to have some ideas percolating about a fantastic Inside Out ride. With the bold colors and specific concepts they would be missing a great opportunity if they don't.
Love what you did with your intro! Keep up the great work.
I would LOVE to see any Inside Out feature in Florida. I think your ideas are wonderful and very creative.
I love the intro
I need the three caballeros ride to become a coco ride ASAP
That would be awesome if they make an inside out ride! 😯 I wonder if they will plan any new attractions soon, with all of money they have lost during quarantine.
8:58 I want a Brother Bear attraction in Epcot in the Canada pavilion like Splash mountain with animatronics.
I like your first idea best. That’s actually exactly what I was thinking for an Inside Out attraction.
Love the idea
I like the idea of the inside out Attraction in the journey imagination at Epcot that would make a perfect sense lovely idea Jack
Amateur Imagineering is by far my favorite hobbie. I spend a fair amount of time on it and it heals my mind. Lol. I recommend to everyone. 🤷🏻♂️
Love your videos Jack! Post more ideas for rides! I'm still intrigued with that new system they'll use for Peter Pan in Tokyo. 🤔🤯
This sounds great can’t wait for more Pixar rides
The Walt Disney Company seriously needs to hire you as an imagineer, Jack. They seriously need your ideas!
Love Waltineering! What a great idea! Paradise falls flyers is genius!
8:58 I love your dark ride idea but would have the train be a regular dark ride ride vehicle that would transition into a flying vehicle system like peter pans ride.
Nice job Jack. Love the new series. Disney take note!
I think I would select your idea for the Cranium Command retheme but instead put it in the Magic Eye Theater next door to Journey into Imagination. Bing Bong would help tie in the imagination theme from the ride into the new show
Well done 1st episode of Waltineering! Loved all your ideas especially the cranium command reskin.
Amazing ideas! Thank you for putting so much effort and detail into them! Very enjoyable and thought provoking.
Maybe we do attraction ideas for Wreck it Ralph movie next!
Omg the intro! 😂
The Figment Inside Out idea is so clever. I feel like that would be an amazing way to revamp Figment as well as give inside up the ride it deserves!!!
I Definitely like this idea
Wow that is seriously a great idea
Jack, I love your imagination! You should be working for the Disney Imagineers! Great ideas!
You put a lot of thoughts and efforts in this video. All great ideas. Congratulations !
This is a fun video! Some great ideas! Looking forward to more of this series!
Amazing into! I love the armchair segment!!!
Cheers! I've got LOADS planned!
Such creative ideas! I’m not a tremendous fan of Inside Out, but I could get behind these attractions. 😃
Your Journey into Riley's Imagination is brilliant! WDI take notes. Lots of notes!
This series is such a good idea. I love all of the ideas and the art of it all!
This guy is a genius. Disney should take some ideas from him. lol I loved the train of thought idea the most!!!
Really enjoyed this series. All three make sense and would be great additions.
How about adding water jets in front of the castle at Walt Disney World for the new night time spectacular?
I love this idea!! One of the best Pixar movies ever
This intro is so epic!!!! Haha!!! You’re so creative! Always look forward to a new video! Who’s with me!? 🤗
Thanks Bailey! This video has taken 2 weeks! I need to get faster at non-news content!
Those are some good ideas for an Inside Out ride, especially the Inside Out Train of Thought where Bing Bong gets revived and comes back.
8:57. I loved your ideas. You make a good point that Up could have taken the Inside Out ride at Disney’s California Adventures. I do like your ideas related to the Epcot relocation. Your train of thought idea is pretty good. However, the location might be pretty hard to accomplish.
I really like the third and fourth idea
Love this series so much!!!!!!!! Theses ideas were great ideas
can they do any black cauldron stuffs in disney parks?like taran and eilonwy meet and greet, or a cinderella dark ride? or an alice in wonderland dark rdie for magic kingdom?
I trully believe the Magic Kingdom deserves more classic dark rides. 2 or at least 1. Alice would be great, or cinderella.... I also would love to see Sword in the Stone, Robin Hood, 101 dalmatians... there are many things to be build still... not EVERYTHING has to be an E-Ticket imo.
@@scataplaft but what about black cauldron
@@disneylover3434 I think Disney wants to forget this movie... but I totally think they should make a live-action of it, refresh things and then explore it for the parks. It could be great. But as it is now, it's quite challenging. Some people don't even know about this movie. 🤷🏻♂️
@@scataplaft you know i liove taran and eilonwy
Thanks jack
I think your 3rd concept is a great idea
Loved your ideas! You are really great at this!
I loved this video so much !!! My daughter and I loved all your ideas including the UP ride instead of emotional whirlwind and the inside out ride ideas !!!♥️♥️♥️♥️ thank you, this is an awesome idea for a channel
