Why a Villans Land when it should be a Villians Park! More thrill rides but not like rollercoaster amusement parks where there are tracks running all over the parks. Thrill rides but hidden from view so the theme stays the main focus. Would love to see a 5th Park that looks like it is in a caldera. This way they can use the rock work to hide all the ride buildings. From inside the park it just looks like mountains all around the park. Basically Galaxies Edge rickwork but all the way around the park and themed to Villians.
If they're really going to recoil at the Villains land idea because "parents think it's too scary," that's just plain stupidity on Disney's part. With that logic, Tower of Terror and probably even HAUNTED MANSION would have never been made.

Here are some of my thoughts. 1. Get rid of the Indy stunt show. Put the Indy ride in its place. Include elements from all 5 movies. If room add a quick service or snack spot with lounge. Maybe even a covered kid play area themed around archeology. 2. If we need a New Orleans restaurant, I want Cafe Orleans. It is my favorite restaurant in DL. The Monte Cristo and pomme frites are to die for. 3. Let's have a Frontier land. I like railroads, canoes, and such. If IP is that important utilize old IP. 4. If Villian land is a no-go in MK, put it in another park. Imagine the possibilities with having a Villian's Halloween party for tweens and adults. Maybe Hollywood Studios. 5. Move Muppets to beyond Big Thunder. Include a land with Pocahontas and Brother Bear. 6. Expand Galaxy Edge to Star Tours. Include all phases of the Star Wars franchise. 7. Animal Kingdom should have mythical section. Dragons have been a part of Disney stories so have some here.

What frustrates me so much about Disney, is that when they have an idea to add something to a park, the attractions almost never match the theming of the land that they want to put it in. I don't care what anyone says, Indian Jones does not belong in Animal Kingdom; finding treasure in the wilderness is not enough of a match; he belongs in Hollywood Studios. And The Incredibles and Wreck-It Ralph do not fit the futuristic theme of tomorrow land in the slightest, if anything arcades are old-school.
I feel they should finish what they start and fill in what’s vacant. Avengers campus is still missing its E-ticket attraction. Epcot has many areas that need to be filled in. I hope they bring back an idea of adding Marry Poppins back to world showcase. AK still seems very empty to me as does Hollywood studios. They both are half day parks imo.
Honestly for beyond big thunder they could really just add the thunder mesa land. It would honestly be very fitting and can add for a new version of frontierland.

A number of people love the current cars but lately we always get the car that is slower than all the others. Its time to have electric cars and they need to be able to keep them charged so its a fun ride instead of wondering if the car is going to make it back to the load unload area.
As far as Villians go I would rather just see more overall representation in their respective park sections. Tiana's includement is a great opportunity for a Dr. Falicier Meet and Greet. Even if its just After Hours. If you bring the Villians out at night and do overlays in October they really dont need their own, dedicated section.
I'm glad that Disney is putting elements of World of Motion into test track. I wish they would bring back an updated version Horizon into Epcot and replace Mission Space.
I hope the 4D show of Phineas and Ferb starts at the Magic Eye Theater. In fact, imagination is the key to this show, so I think it will fit well in the Imagination Hall.
Great video Jack! I think a Figment revamp similar to Mystic Manor in Hong Kong Disney Land is the only option for that attraction. You need a figment attraction that wow’s with special effects and that ride does that.
Same, Indy hasnt been represented in WDW as well as it should be. Seems like a lot of people use the excuse that teens/young adults arent interested in that IP anymore but as a teen myself who is a huge Indiana Jones fan and know a lot of people my age that are as well, personally i think its very relevant today and worthy of another attraction. I think it would fit fine in Animal Kingdom as they are shifting the focus less on animals and conservation and more on exploration and adventure.
For Magic Kingdom my #1 would be a Villains Land or attraction. Animal Kingdom would be great for either Encanto (based in a South America Land) or Zootopia. Epcot I would love to see the Mary Poppin's area in Great Britain which was announced before Covid. Studio needs to do something with the Animation Courtyard area. Not sure what.
I want to see Disney create rides that have a large compacity. The Parks are overcrowded, and they need some help. Country Bear Jamboree, Splash Mountain and potenial new ride at "Stick Great Escape" is a great move by the imaginers. The other wild card I'd love to see Monsters Laugh Floor get an enhancement.
Those golden books of the Disney Park elements could be perfect to transform into short films and I'm up for the Villains' Kingdom with the worlds of Encanto and Coco being set up near Big Thunder.
Well, since Encanto will essentially be the main tenet of the Tropic America section of AK, putting it in MK would be kinda redundant. But since Coco is Mexico-oriented, it arguably DOES kinda fit well with Frontierland.
I miss Stitch I wish he got some other attraction. And a villains park and more muppets would also be at the top of my list of things that would be awesome.
Armchair imagineering here but: 1, Redo Figment back to a ride that is modern but has classic dark ride charm. An updated version of One Little Spark🥺 Figment is Epcot!!! 2, Plan a Muppets land (dust off the 90s plans) which includes rebuilding the theatre piece by piece and slapping a protected building status on version 2.0, galaxy's edge has to expand. In terms of a ride system a Shanghai pirates system would be amazing with animatronics and rainbow connection in a swamp😍😍
Welcome to 2024, Jack! Excited for all your discoveries for the newest Disney Park attractions and rides, upcoming movies and births of new movies and shows. Disney 100 Years of Wonder is finally complete! All the Disney characters had their ultimate group photo taken for the company's 100th birthday.
Incredibles 3 could be in development after Inside Out 2 and Elio release along with a possible Toy Story 5. Perhaps there may even be Cars 4, a possible second Monsters, Inc. prequel; Monsters Birthright, a possible third Finding Nemo film; Finding Marlin, A Bug's Life 2, Brave 2 and WALL-E 2.
10:27 YES, YES, YES, keep the "health" theme of the Wonders Of Life Pavilion! And while it'd be difficult to get the rights to use the character (due to a certain Universal Orlando related contract)...imagine if Dr Reed Richards is the host of an attraction, as part of the publicity for the Fantastic Four coming into the MCU....🤔
Why wouldn’t I be surprised if they were going to go cheap with Tiana’s Palace? I was hoping they’ll do a full-service since the restaurant would’ve been basically one in the film, but oh well, I can’t complain forever. There’s a lot of potential with the dark kingdom, as someone who use to work for USH, the universal monsters were a big hit in Hollywood, in fact, they are getting ready to add another one eventually (won’t disclose which monster it will be) so dark universe shouldn’t be a problem, the monster cafe was heavily missed at the time. So a dark kingdom shouldn’t hurt.
“I have never seen it this busy before!” - a cast member working at the Making of Me film show inside the Wonders of Life pavilion… …one year before it closed. They added Soarin, then took away an entire pavilion, and it wasn’t till Ratatouille, that we finally had something extra to the lineup. It was busy! People were going there! Full house for even a dinky little film short! And then they closed it.
Thank you for an honest assessment. I agree: it’s put up or shut up time. We were annual passholders for more than 20 years and only let them lapse this past September. We still love Disney, but the park experience is nowhere near as captivating (or easy or relaxing) as it was just a few years ago. If they’re going to close classic rides and experiences to modernize, then they damn well need to build some new stuff. We love Disney and want them to save the parks, but, for the first time, I now worry about the future of the company.
What I want Disney to announce would be my movie poster concept arts of movies yet to be possibly made with their help and they can even announce the birth of Disney Storyline Studios with the re-ignition of Digital Ink and Magic to bring the bonus stories to life.
I think Journey into Imagination could benefit from the same kind of ride system as Mario Kart in Super Nintendo World where you wear glasses and things could happen before your very eyes as if you were using your imagination to dream it up and figment could then be seen flying around too but also a lot of physical sets and projection mapping to warp the scene in front of you. The overall premise of the ride doesn't really need to change just needs a big update imo! :)
I don't like the idea of incredibles in Tomorrowland. Tomorrowland is already a thematically confused as it is. Stitch had a vague theme of space, which is a futuristic concept but not at all set in the future, Monster's Inc. doesn't get that benefit because it's not at all space-y or futuristic, and it's comedy show gives it no favours. Incredibles is set in the 50s, what the heck does that have to do with the future?
I Would Love Disney to Announce the Complete Overhaul of Journey into Imagination with Figment because that Attraction is Nothing Related to the Original, and Plus, We Really Need Dreamfinder because He was the Perfect Person for the Pavilion and He Matters to All of Us!
00:54 Oh I completely agree! I'm getting sick of all the "blue sky" talk as well. I want to see official announcements and then official closing dates and shovels in the ground. As Walt Disney said, "quit talking and start doing." Walt is probably looking down at the Walt Disney Company right now telling them that!
If you decipher 6ABC, you can do the same for Disney Channel to honor its history and famous runtime airings and shows. Playhouse Disney is now Disney Junior. The famous Australian Wiggles won't forget being part of Disney entertainment.
I think it would be interesting to see Figment and Dreamfinder be the hosts and narrators of a revised Horizons attraction in the current Journey Into Imagination building. In addition to this new Horizons attraction, a 4DX show titled, “Journey Into Imagination” could be created around Figment, in the theater part of the building, as an amazing homage to the original attraction, and to preserve the famous “One Little Spark” music.
In terms of beyond big thunder I’d like to see a new Frontierland big with big thunder mountain as a focal point & maybe include coco to us an IP to help market it I defiantly agree with zootopia in DHS, it fits the urban cityscape of the park & that park needs to improve capacity
For sure they should use that Beyond Big Thunder area for a new Frontierland. My suggestion would be to focus on the American Frontier and not a "Old Western" themed land. The National Parks are an American Tradition and it would be nice to have a Frontierland that honors the Parks. Why not have a Show about National Parks, and how they were created. Of course we need another big ticket ride. Something like a river rafting ride but instead of a raft in the water, it would be a rollercoaster track winding through a river canyon over the water. Waterfalls could pour over into the area. but guests wouldnt need to worry about getting wet. That area would be a great backdrop for the Disney World Railroad. I wouldnt be against a Maelstrom type of ride system to explore parks and nature but we already have a few water rides at MK already (Pirates, Small World, Jungle Cruise, Spash Mountain).
13:19 Y'know...we COULD see both renovations, in a way: Since the theater used to be Honey I Shrunk The Audience, the new show there could be about Dr Nigel Channing bringing in Dr Honeydew and Beaker, and hijinks ensure! And meanwhile, the "main" ride brings back the Dreamfinder, etc.👍
I actually still really want to see the Play! Pavilion come to life. However, the idea that it would specifically be a children’s area is what I don’t like. Target it towards everyone. Your ideas on taking inspiration and making callbacks to Cranium Command and Body Wars were is also good. I say make it an interactive gaming area for everyone, maybe add some meet and greets, and have some of the games call back to previous attractions in the building.
This is something that is definitely blue sky crazy, but they just got Doctor Who on Disney Plus. I don't know if they could make an arrangement with the BBC, but a Doctor Who themed ride at Epcot would be crazy.
It seems like the only thing at this point that will inspire Disney to push themselves is when they feel the need to make a rebuttal for something awesome that universal does. Disney used to push the boundaries becuase they wanted to, now they only do it so they don’t lose to many guests that universal is stealing. Im super excited for epic universe!
I want to see Imagination get its long deserved refurb/re-imagination. However, I’m nervous as to what we would actually end up with from current leadership.
The “slam dunk” that would win back the hearts of Disney fans is obviously the Imagination Pavilion. Witnessing this attraction as a youngster sealed the deal for me to be a life-long Disney fan. BUT: it will have to be as good or better than the original ride or Disney will take a nose-dive with the fans. High risk pays high reward.
Inside Out and Big Hero 6 at Wonders of Life is my Dream Wish! Keep Figment at Imagination! This will preserve the Play Pavilion and Wonders of Life at the same time!
With the play pavilion, I love the idea you have with baymax and inside out, but if they did that, it wouldn’t fit with their new future world themeing. That side of EPCOT is world discovery I believe. If it was on the world nature side it would be perfect.
There is a great plot of open area between The Seas and The Land pavilions. It would take some backstage road changes but a Wonder of Life Pavilion that you are speaking of could fit there nicely. I think we would need a better name for the Pavilion though.
If I had my own hopes, I would essentially have a new version of "Body Wars" where Hiro invents a new type of mobile flying ambulance (the simulators) that will assist Baymax on any emergencies that he needs. With the obvious theme park uh oh of Baymax considering almost anything an "emergency" and calling the ambulance to fly halfway across the city over stuff like a kitten with a hurt paw.
Disney has had so many different projects named at the parks and in movies that has never happened, I think people are now jaded about new projects and them coming to life. Until ground breaks, and even after ground breaks because it always seemed to get dumbed down, I don't believe anything.
I'd love Disney to use a similar ride system to Arthur at Europa Park for a revitalised journey into imagination. Could be themed as if the audience is riding a dream catcher and setting out to collect dreams. Would never happen but I feel it would work well
I only discovered today after reading the comments how BIG the area of land between Epcot and MK (behind Coronado Springs) is!! WHYYYY aren’t they building Villain Kingdom on that plot.. with a themed resort alongside it? Ursula’s Water Park? So much potential and so little effort- you’d think that Epic Universe would have Disney upping their game by now surely?
Oh God this hurts. All of the best ideas like villains, an ACTUAL Zootopia expansion, and a full Encanto expansion just get shot down. They have access to the best technologies in the theme park industry and they barely use them, and even a dummy like me knows you can only do so much r&d before people are done waiting and paying to enter your parks that don't deliver :(
Wow, Figment and Dreamfinder...that would be incredible. As for MK, I just don't understand expanding it further to add capacity as that will only draw even more people to an already bottlenecked park. MK is already a 2 day park! Why not work on drawing people AWAY from MK to their other parks?
Honestly, Take a break with the IP injections and create original attractions that will actually fit into the park’s theme. Not just conforming loosely related IP and forcing them in there. BRING BACK CREATIVITY!
Encanto ride in a similar fashion to Mystic Manor, a Coco ride in a similar fashion to Flight of Passage, and start updating the projection faced characters to the Hong Kong Disney Frozen type. Also, I like the idea of updating some restaurants, the Pirates lounge sounds cool maybe make a Haunted Mansion lounge (could take some "inspiration" from the cruise one). Disney has a lot of under utilized space in its parks, start doing something with those spaces to spread the crowd around.
Kids get older and teens want parks with more roller coasters and thrills. Disney should lean into Disney Villians as a 5th park that appeals to families with teens and young adults. Disney could benefit from reaching out to this consumer base.
Villains Land is a must! It will help keep the teenagers happy at the Magic Kingdom. As long as they don’t do it on the cheap. Bring on Yzma and Kronk
Why a Villans Land when it should be a Villians Park! More thrill rides but not like rollercoaster amusement parks where there are tracks running all over the parks. Thrill rides but hidden from view so the theme stays the main focus. Would love to see a 5th Park that looks like it is in a caldera.
Armchair imagineering here but:
1, Redo Figment back to a ride that is modern but has classic dark ride charm. An updated version of One Little Spark🥺
Figment is Epcot!!!
Jack also pre-warming if rumours start about Muppetvision much appreciated 👍🏼
The Villains Kingdom should be built along the monorail between Magic Kingdom and EPCOT and be open late as both parks let out.
I would like them fix the empty attractions first. Then add some new things non IP
Turning Animation Courtyard into a Zootopia land was not on my bingo card today but I am so in on that
“I have never seen it this busy before!” - a cast member working at the Making of Me film show inside the Wonders of Life pavilion… …one year before it closed. They added Soarin, then took away an entire pavilion, and it wasn’t till Ratatouille, that we finally had something extra to the lineup. It was busy! People were going there! Full house for even a dinky little film short! And then they closed it.
Honestly. The ONE thing that brings a tear to my eye... is if they said Figment Dreamfinder Revamp. I would totally be there for that.
In terms of beyond big thunder I’d like to see a new Frontierland big with big thunder mountain as a focal point & maybe include coco to us an IP to help market it
I defiantly agree with zootopia in DHS, it fits the urban cityscape of the park & that park needs to improve capacity
I am fond of Dinosaur, and I think it's in the right place in Animal Kingdom
Would love the original version of Journey into Imagination with todays tech to refresh it.
They did push the boundaries with the Galactic Starcruiser though lol
@@exiledrabbit And it was way too overpriced and now its closed forever 💀
Figment can visit Walt Disney Imagineering every once in a while.
Thr Wonders of Life Building needs some love. Would love to see a Journey into your imagination renovation too.
I want to see Imagination get its long deserved refurb/re-imagination. However, I’m nervous as to what we would actually end up with from current leadership.
All I want is like an air-conditioned area in animal kingdom and I'm happy. 😅
Could you see the HoloTile Floor finding a place in an Encanto attraction?
Jack showing up with new Little Golden Books as potential evidence...what a guy!
Would never happen but I feel it would work well
You tell 'em Jack! I LOVED this rant, it's what I've been saying in my head but don't have quite the same platform to communicate it.
The ground in that location is unsuitable for construction. But they have plenty of land where ESPN complex is that is suitable for a 5th park.
Oh God this hurts. All of the best ideas like villains, an ACTUAL Zootopia expansion, and a full Encanto expansion just get shot down. They have access to the best technologies in the theme park industry and they barely use them, and even a dummy like me knows you can only do so much r&d before people are done waiting and paying to enter your parks that don't deliver :(
Always love when I get a notification that Jack is back!
Wow, Figment and Dreamfinder...that would be incredible. As for MK, I just don't understand expanding it further to add capacity as that will only draw even more people to an already bottlenecked park. MK is already a 2 day park! Why not work on drawing people AWAY from MK to their other parks?
I think the Wonders of Life building would make a great planetarium and they could incorporate Wall*E in it.
Wonders of Life with inside out and big hero 6 is an amazing idea
Honestly, Take a break with the IP injections and create original attractions that will actually fit into the park’s theme. Not just conforming loosely related IP and forcing them in there. BRING BACK CREATIVITY!
I wish they could go back to being original with their rides as well. Jungle cruise at least they were going original with.
I don't really want to see any more Flight of Passage style rides there's already a lot of overlap with Soarin and FoP id rather see a new ride system
Kids get older and teens want parks with more roller coasters and thrills. Disney should lean into Disney Villians as a 5th park that appeals to families with teens and young adults. Disney could benefit from reaching out to this consumer base.
Great video! Would love one similar for Paris if possible?😊
