- In 2013, Disney introduced the new Mickey shorts which went on to inspire the very first Mickey ride- Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway at Hollywood Studios. The shorts have many hidden secrets & easter eggs that pay tribute to a lot of Disney rides & attractions! From Disneyland to Walt Disney World, the shorts explore the Matterhorn Bobsleds from Disneyland, the classic It's a Small World from all the Disney parks, the world-famous Jungle Cruise, plus some tributes to extinct & defunct attractions like 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea from Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World, Mine Train through Nature's Wonderland & Rocket to the Moon at Disneyland plus so many more! You totally forgot "Down the Hatch", which was Mickey's tribute to "Adventures Thru Inner Space", and during the credits, we get to hear Donald quack "Miracles from Molecules"!
It was more like a body wars tribute
and he talks about shrinking to the size of a snowflake
I looooove hearing Donald sing Miracles from Molecules! It was one of my favorite Easter eggs!

In the short titled “for whom the Booth tolls” when Mickey is looking for a spare change in his glove box you can see a cassette labeled “the black cauldron” thought that was an interesting little detail
The best part about the Rainbow Caverns one is that Mickey says "The map says it's supposed to be right here, but someone but a big thundering mountain on top of 'em!", which references how Big Thunder Mountain replaced Nature's Wonderland and the Rainbow Caverns.

The Rainbow Caverns also appear in the 2017 "Ducktales" reboot season 1, episode 16: "The Golden Lagoon of White Agony Plains!". Although the character Goldie O' Gilt incorrectyl calls them "The Rainbow Caves!", they are very clearly visually styled after Disneyland's "Rainbow Caverns". While on the subjects of extinct Disney attractions and DT2017, in the season 2 episode "Nightmare on Killmotor Hill!", middle triplet Dewey says "If we can dream it, we can DEWEY it.", an obvious nod to the lyrics of the main theme song from the beloved Epcot Center dark ride "Horizons", which was replaced by "Mission: Space" (The full lyrics from the "Horizons" theme were: "If we can dream it, then we can do it...Yes we can!"; The words "If we can dream it, we can do it." were also on the wall of the attractions entryway when you went through the automatic doors in front). Honestly, it's nice that these newer versions of Disney cartoons are throwing these theme park nods into the plot, dialogue and/or background...Regardless if we are fans of the animation style used (as I have seen many who aren't all that in love with the animation direction of either the "Ducktales" 2017 reboot or the 2013 run of "Mickey Mouse" cartoon shorts).
When i saw the TVA on the rocket i thought it was a reference to Loki

one of my favorite easter eggs is in the short "shifting gears" when mickey gets flattened by a surf board and asks "is that you, walt?" it gets me everytime :))

Whenever I spot a parks reference in those Mickey shorts, I always just start cackling. The House of Tomorrow one had me really rolling.
I somehow had a feeling that the house of tomorrow would be an Easter egg. Though, the house of tomorrow is pretty useful, I’d rather prefer today’s technology. Anybody agree?

Nature's Wonderland is one of the best episodes for the fact that it is super related to BTMR/Mine Train Thru Nature's Wonderland

Some shorts that I want them to make would include:
1. A Muppets short where Mickey experiences the Muppet Show and becomes a Muppet himself
2. A Star Wars short where Mickey becomes a Jedi and saves Minnie from Sith Lord Pete
3. An Marvel short where Mickey joins forces with the Avengers to defeat Disney villains and Pete as Thanos
4. A Disney Parks-themed short where Mickey and his friends travel to every park in the world
5. A short where all of Mickey's friends become sorcerers
I like when these shorts have random live action clips.
I love when Disney rides have easter eggs in these Mickey shorts!

You forgot "Feed the Birds". Mickey tricks the bad birds into quitting bullying Tuppence by opening "Birdland". Mickey's speech is a reference to Walt's speech from the opening of Disneyland.
Note: this is not a Disney Parks Easter egg but during Mickey Monkey when Minnie, Donald and Goofy are playing music it’s actually the tune of Steamboat Willie and such a coincidence The Monkey wearing Mickey’s clothes is in the position of driving the boat🎉

You missed a good one! In Wish Upon a Coin, after splashing Snow White with Water, Mickey and Minnie skip across a bridge to get to her well. As they do, you can see the entrance of Disneyland Tomorrowland behind them, just like you can at the real well in Disneyland.

There’s references to Disney characters in the Mickey Mouse cartoon series on Disney Channel, like Willy the Opera Singing Whale from Make Mine Music, who made a brief appearance in the cartoon O’ Sole Minnie. If you look closely at Willy the Whale, you noticed that he has three uvula in his mouth, a little tribute to his character in Make Mine Music from 1946 when he was voiced by Nelson Eddy in three separate singing voices: tenor, baritone and bass.

When Mickey says that "The caverns should be just ahead, but somebody put a Big, Thundering Mountain on top of them, They must be inside!" It's a reference to a reference. A section of the Rainbow Caverns is inside the first lift hill on B.T.M.R.R.
I have home movies from my childhood showing empty seats on the Dumbo ride, and 30 people in line for the Matterhorn. This would have been ~1962. I would sit and watch films from that period forever just for the chance I might see a neighbor.

for Nature's wonderland you missed another easter egg to Big Thunder Mountain, when Mickey says "it was supposed to be there but they put a big thundery mountain on top of it" it is a reference to the fact that big thunder mountain was built where nature's wonderland once was

Fun fact about the Monsanto House of The Future. The plastic construction of the building was so well done, when it was eventually closed down, the wrecking ball that was to be used to demolish it actually bounced off without causing any damage.
