Keep it Bro I have a1988 442 as well I'm putting together for my baby sister who passed but I thinks you should keep I just sold a 455 motor with new part for about 450 hp I think my boy may want to sale it back because I told him I will buy it back for what he got it for and that was $2500 and it's cleaned up it looks new but even if the don't wan want the 455 my boy got keep and sale it later if you have to or need to

Keep it period correct and put in a TPI 350 from an IROC. Everyone does and LS and the 307s didn't make enough power.
