The BEST video bro. Got my dad's heater hooked up tonight. It was capped off for a few years. When attaching the hoses the heater core was kind of loose inside the box so I'm prepping to possibly do what you did in this video. Also fixed the HVAC controls tonight! It was stuck on defrost. The vacuum switch halves had separated so I used a machine screw to repair it. All the vents work now!! That had been broken for all 20 years of him owning i think. Wish I could show him, it's bitter sweet.

It's turning into g body heaven over there. I sucked it up and bought the Caspers reproduction engine harness for my 87 while the engine was out. Best decision I've made yet. It's pricey, but they did a really good job on it in my opinion, including a couple small updates of problem areas like the relays.

Staying tuned to see what happens.

Did you switch to an lsd? If not, you'll never be able put the power down. My NA 5.7 with open diff will cut loose at almost 60mph when I put it to the floor

I can’t wrench anymore because of arthritis. I can drive fast and shift, though. In my experience you have to be patient, get luck and know a guy. I shopped around for month until I found a Magnuson kit for $5600. The guy: retired speed shop mechanic working out of home. He has a big, three car shop behind his house. $75 an hour. Told him to take his time. Two weeks, installed with his personal tweaks, tuned. $800. Plain old RT Classic Super Track pack 6m, 5.7. No badges needed here. All parts CARB approved. Zoom.
