Your video commentaries are clear, concise and articulate. It is useful to me to hear your impressions of the kit -- assembly, parts detail, fit, decals quality, etc. Either way, I thoroughly enjoy the quality videos you produce.
I like a commentary because the narrative shares the experience of the build, what was difficult, fragile, easy and any anomalies encountered. Was the landing gear up to par, did the wing halves fit well together, was the fuselage warped....probably not in this build but commentaries discuss these issues. I hadn't seen this one but the model looks good.
A nice result and an enjoyable video. I prefer the commentary but appreciate that takes time. Whatever route you take won’t deter me from watching your videos in the future.
I did music and limited commentary on my first two "model build" videos, then went for full commentary, and have found it much more engaging and rewarding!
First, nice build. Glad you didn't go overboard with weathering and such. As for the muzak/commentary thing, I don't see why you can't do both. I understand it makes editing more of a chore, and there's the sound loudness balancing issue (voice at normal volume followed by BLARING music) which plagues many YT channels. But if you run across something strange or difficult during a build, please feel free to share which way you had to hold you tongue to get things to fit while you're showing us the issue.
Very nice visual build but I much prefer it with commentary. I built a modified Ram after your build and your commentary on the suspension was important. So my vote respectfully is commentary away! Thank you again for the nice build.
I think a bit of commentary is nice; let us know if parts didn't go together well, or what paint your using, or any particular techniques, what you thought of the kit overall etc. Anyway, Hurricane looks great. Really nice build and excellent finish.

Terrific job on the Hurricane....the sea scheme is a welcome change to the usual green and brown. Don't mind either way with music vs commentary although providing tips etc is a good thing....however, whatever you feel is right for you should be the way to go....I'll be tuning in either way!
This is the Temperate Sea Scheme. I'm not very familiar with Coastal Command schemes to be be honest. The Airfix Wellington looks like it has a white underside and sides, but the top does look like this scheme.
So weird. I had this same kit but the wing tops were completely flat and had to be curved over the spar. Then, even after sanding the spars down, it wouldn't curve properly. Resulted in a 1 mm overlap of the bottom of the wings. Never had that issue with the two tropical kits and BoB one.
I think Airfix have an issue with consistency of their kits - I am building two of their Lancasters now - identical kits - and one is massively warped.
Thanks Ralf. The fit was really good. You just have to be careful with Airfix because sometimes these kits in their new boxes are just old toolings, sometimes from decades ago. You can use Scalemates to check how old a kit really is.

@@ModelNerd I guess it's not to over flood the market... Same thing happened to the FB11 sea fury. It also means the mould won't be knackered in 10 years aswell. It'll come back just annoyed that's gone quick ish?

Gotta love the Hurrican and it's Sea Varient as some of my family worked for Hawker. Personally I prefer commentary as YT is on as I paint.

I use regular Tamiya cement because I can't stand the smell of the extra thin stuff.
