Hi I’m about to start this kit but i noticed that some people have had trouble with the base saying that the clips on the sleepers prevent the sleepers sitting high enough over the preformed gravel to allow the rails to slide through have you any advice about this? Also I’m not the most experienced modeller so I realise this is an ambitious project for me so any other assistance you can offer would be really great. Even stuff like what order to paint it in. Thanks in anticipation
Self-propelled? LMAO Please, do more reading. The engine in that compartment is connected to a generator to provide power for the gun's hydraulics and electrical system. As far as I know, not a single German railway gun was self-propelled. Karl Garet doesn't count because it's not a railway gun.
Cracking job! 👏👏👏 Well impressed with that.

I’ll try to get a hold of the club member who built it and get you an answer.

please tell me which sets of figures to use for this set😢
beautiful kit but too much of camera movement
Anyone converted one of these to work on a train set?
