  • Ever wonder how to make your rear apron removable? I had to do it over the weekend so I made a little video for you guys that may want to do it as well. It's pretty easy 👊

    I've got my 65' body off the chassis; I've gotta do this apron mod. Hopefully part 2 is coming soon!

    so I guess you aren't using a rear bumper? if you are going to install a bumper, it seems to me that it would be more work removing the bumper than it is to just pull the motor the regular way. as it stands, I can change a bug motor in 45 minutes

    plenty of info on removing it available ... But nobody seems to bother posting a descent vid on how to make a quick release ... 😕

      I haven't been able to work on this since the video. Hopefully, this winter I can finish this part at least. My projects always come last, unfortunately.

      I have been busy in the shop and haven't had a chance to get any further on remounting the new apron. Hopefully soon though!

    Ooooff 1:58 all those metal bits in and around the inlet manifolds.... You could have easily blocked them up

      This is just a mockup core motor. It will never be used in real life :)
