Three cards I would mention: Dramatic Reversal and Isochron Scepter is a really good combo that isn't used all that often. It requires you to play a lot of artifact ramp (which is very expensive), but those cards are very cheap. I also adore Muddle the Mixture. It's a serviceable counterspell and it tutors for all cards at 2 CMC, including Dramatic Reversal and Isochron Scepter!
Carpet of flowers and mystic remora are some great mentions as well I think. They seam to go up in price but I still think they are in the category of being budget. Good video btw!
I like *Divining Witch* over Demonic Consultation (but I run them both in EDH decks like Lazav). 1st activation of Witch gets you Lab Man, 2nd activation removes your library from the game. You would need a Snapcaster Mage to win the same way with Consultation.
One would wish Timetwister to be as "cheap" as you mention it to be, the cheapest one can cost north of two thousand dollars, gladly the rest of the power nine is banned in commander and I do not use blue in my decks, the thing that torments me about the reserve list are the lands they make impossible to have a "full" mana base without making the deck so expensive that is not even reasonable to take it out of your house, and even there it would be better to keep it in a safe.
Unless you’re playing in tournaments you really don’t need stuff like the dual lands for your deck to be competitive. For two years I played my Gitrog monster deck without a bayou and I can only remember one game where it screwed me. Also most competitive playgroups are cool with proxies for cards like timetwister that nobody can afford. The price of a good deck in the format is only as high as you make it, just depends on what kind of strategy you choose to build your deck around.
One of the best budget cards I ve seen in cEDH is regrowth, and its like...0.25c.Because we all know we are gonna win by making some kind of wombo combo
xakuyer they are Autumns veil is great for decks not having access to blue(not all deck play blue and green is a great color in edh). Take gitrog dredge, for example. The deck is really strong and super-reselient, but it NEEDS ways to defend frog. Veil helps with it. A lot of lists run it. Memory lapse is different. CEDH is fast and counterspells are used to protect your combo or not to let another person combo out. It is universal and costs 2 with easy U in a cost. It doesn’t matter if they get their thing next turn, if you win this turn or break their combo. The thing is that there are a lot of other great counters in the format, so it is not that high ok priority list, but it IS playable and IS being played from time to time Those are not that good in casual edh. cEDH meta is way different and way faster though, so “not EVEN good in casual” is not a valid argument.
Competitive EDH is fairly biased towards Green, Blue, and Black, unfortunately. I think he could have mentioned Pyroblast and Red Elemental Blast, which are both cheap, strong, and very versatile in more competitive EDH.

thanks for that. Remora is already in all my Blue decks. Going to add Carpet to my Green decks (also, Remora is 3-4$. Carpet is 10$)
Great upload! It is always wise to keep a close eye on Cedh and I look forward to seeing more videos on this topic 😘
Natures Claim!!!!
Make sure Laboratory Maniac is in hand or the field and then Demonic Consultation for the non-existent Demonic Consultation that is in your deck
"Dark Confeedant" (Laughs)
I want a Revised Timetwister haha

Tainted pact is arguably better than consultation

Maenk90 he mentions it in the video
If someone could please tell me whether or not commander 18 will be on mtgo and when
Well im playing mono red conpwtitive budget krenko
agent mlp412 can I have a list
Unsummon is way better than chains of vapor why have the possibility of letting your opponent bounce one of your creatures
It’s not usually for use on your opponents, target yourself and copy as necessary.
@@SoDefCallidus I guess but I'm not a fan
Chain of Vapor also hits any non-land permanent whereas Unsummon is creatures only
You Don't hit your opponents cards with chain l
Well your creatures could have certain ETB triggers
Telepathy
Archetypes
Wonder
Hahahahhaha you're funny

Flash hulk / hermit Druid better then anything on the list in cedh
There are no such thing as Revised edition power 9. they only come from the original game.(Alpha Beta Unlimited.
Do a deck tech on the best U/R deck in pauper.
Memory lapse the autumn's veil funny but not sure this is cedh viable, not at all
