there was a big Japanese community-settlement in Davao in the early 1900s until after 1945 farming/processing abaca fibers where many japanese lived/worked/stayed some went back to japan after 1945 and others disperesed to many part of the philippines...the Japanese community was situtated mainly in Mintal city and Bago-Oshiro part of Davao there is a Japanese cementery there that was visited by the late PM Abe's wife when they came for a Presidential visit when Abe was the PM of Japan.
Have a great adventure in Mindanao.Hopefully you can go further to balut island and sarangani island,then going east to davao oriental, it's a paradise place.Please dont forget to bring your drone to get the perfect view specially the islands.Enjoy and have fun,I enjoy watching all your content😄😁👍
