- All of my base was built in survival. I used commands only to obtain special items like the Markiplier statue.
My cuddle fish is trapped in my base as if it were water, and I don't know why :(
I forgot to show you my camera drones during the recording. They were surveilling the crop fields on the islands and in front of the bottom entrance.

It would have been fun if a Lifepod had landed on or near the island. Imagine it: We’d get there and there’s a survivor eating the potatoes and melons and casually asks, “Hey fellas, what kept you?”
mad respect the markiplier and jackspeticeye miniatures on the bed really did it this reminds me of what I had in mind years ago when making big bases but couldn't due to the base game's limitations

« There are two Markiplier Dolls. The one without the pink mustache can be found in game (Lifepod #7). You’ll need to scan it to get it’s blueprint. The one with the pink mustache needs a code to unlock, which is currently unknown afaik.
The Septictank Eye needs a code to unlock. The code needs to be redeemed ingame, at the start menu or pause menu under options. The code is: SMHB-VC57-V748-8EGU-1EO and is case-sensitive and needs the dashes to be entered for it to work.
Edit: Cuddlefish don’t reproduce, sadly. Though there are a total of 4 Cuddlefish eggs in the game »
@@Horse_ON I found the markiplier doll on my own during a playthrough years ago I've watched Subnautica grow since 2015 into now and its just crazy
@@wikkano I play Subnautica since 2014 I think. I was playing on a shitty computer with the graphics in minimum .
I remember the first time I tried to build a cyclop I spent hours finding one gold that I needed.

@@Horse_ON I am also excited for the second installment in the sereis since for me below zero was a complete nightmare in terms of replicating and expanding on what made the first game great
@@wikkanoI liked Below Zero personally. I really prefer the first Subnautica, but I like the characters and the story in Below Zero and it's the game that introduce the large base room and some decoratives pieces for base building. However, the map is really difficult to navigate, you don't have vast biomes like in the first one. The leviathans are not impressive, and the sea truck, I like it a lot but is far inferior to the Cyclops

Holy crap how long did this take? Its giant
The longest part was to build all the vertical connectors to get to the bottom.
But I think my in game time in this save is above 24 hours, but I didn't spend all my time building the base.

Je vais sûrement faire des vidéos où je parle prochainement, en français donc.
Après je vais essayer de les redoubler en anglais et utiliser la fonctionnalité multi audio de UA-cam pour mettre un audio par langue sur la même vidéo. Mais mon accent français quand je parle anglais est terrible donc on verra bien.

My favorite thing I wanna get is the mod where you can place those props. But I cant because I play on PlayStation
Sadly for console player it is often almost impossible to get mods.
But subnautica should be able to run even on a small pc if one day you have one

can i ask how at 1:07 u got the hatch there since im trying to build the base for my world but i cant put it there
Do you mean place an exterior hatch similar to this one, or place a hatch at the exact same place ?
In the first case you have to place a regular hatch directly on a Multipurpose Room or a Large Room.
And if you want to place it at the exact same place I guess you will have to desconstruct your room and move it somewhere else just by a little bit to make it placable after, I know I had a lot of trouble placing base part on the island.
But if you really strugle you could use the mod Subnautica Terraforming Mod which allows "partially" burying habitat modules into terrain :

@@de_parrot Ok then I guess try to place the hatch first before placing anything else, I don't remember correctly but I think I didn't have to do something too difficult to place this hatch

Maybe the next Subnautica game will come out on Switch too, so you can enjoy more Subnautica.
Also, a good part of my base is vanilla; you can still create amazing bases with just the vanilla content.
However, I agree that there isn't a way yet to mod Subnautica on Switch, which is unfortunate !

@@Horse_ONdo you not have the jump jets upgrade? Because the prawn suit was going up pretty slowly when you weren't using the grappling arm. Just asking.
@@aurytis11 I don’t remember honestly, but is the upgrade increasing the speed ? I thought it was increasing the total fuel
@@Horse_ON according to the wiki, you accelerate faster which equals you go faster, and it also increases the length that you can use the jets
