Y no sabría desirte esactamente a k te refieres pero si te puedo orientar sobre k se puede usar para despintar carros. Nosotros normalmente los despintamos con lija. Thomas Kohout and paint and rust scale. the best part is dustless blasting does not warp panels. I cools the metal as it blasts, it's all mixed with a rust inhibitor to stop flash.
It's wet media blasting and yes it's legal to do in a driveway but you must give your neighbors a 2-3 day heads up so they make sure they aren't parked where they can get damage. Also this guy should really have had some kind of containment set up to catch his material/stripped paint. If there was lead in the paint it could contaminate the water table.
Be nice for once to see a full strip on a vehicle for once, if I'm paying big money for some Jack hole to come out they'd better strip every square inch inside and out and not just the outer panels.
When you use sand and not a mask, it's very unhealthy. Furthermore, when sand is used, you REALLY have to clean all the cracks and jointz put which you can't do when panels are on like that. Sand left in cracks and areas absorbs moisture and makes the situation a lot worse. I hope he didn't want that glass and rubber because it's history.

People here saying it's ruining the environment letting the debris get into the environment. oh and sanding is better?......it does the exact same thing the same. Sanding puts it into the air dustless keeps it down because of the water.
sweep it up just like you do when sanding it gets swept up in a blast room too. Don't be ridiculous. Dustless Blasting keeps it out of the air. 98% of the bad stuff is given off in VOCs the dried paint and filler is benign but it is still going to a landfill when you sweep it up just like after sanding, and just like after blasting.
Dustless blasting allows it to be used without a room. Every body shop is hosed down after being swept. Every paint booth is hosed down to keep dust down while walking around shooting the paint. Some wet down the floor just before painting, where do you think that water magically goes? Don't be naive. Dustless is better because, it doesn't flash rust, the panels do not warp, the debris does not become airborne and it's a whole lot faster and blasts everything.

It's not good to use water in this manner. When ya water soak bare metal it stays in the metal. Unless ya heat the body to 140 degrees for about a week or a bit longer. That also would cause a caustic surface rust much worse than conventional blasting. The moisture would have to be drawn out of the heat booth. We tried this in the past it's not good for the project vehicle and causes more problems than can be solved. The body would have to be acid dipped before any work could be done. Now if this was done on a panel by panel basis it can turn out a little diff.

Looks like dry ice blasting to me. It comes in small pellets. It evaporates and the only debris you end up with is what comes off the truck.
