What if you only fill in the mosaic prices underneath like each indent with its own color and the make the nail full with hard gel on top to make it smooth idk maybe it would do a good effect
I came here to comment this too. I didn't really see a good shot of the bottom of them to see if they are indented from the bottom too or if they are flat.
These tips are definitely ones I would start working on before putting them on my nails! I think putting them on a tip stand upside down and filling the voids with different colors would work best, that way the underside would be smooth. Then attach them and maybe paint over with a different color, like black, and file them down to a more normal thickness and shape to really help the pattern come through. You could try filling the voids with different glitters or pigments, or I bet magnetic gel could look really cool! I do think they're worth playing with more, if only because you have so many!😂
I’ve seen some Russian accounts use the square mosaic tip on Instagram, and they basically use it as a paper form to take off after building with clear gel on top of it, so the underside is left with the mosaic texture! I’ve actually been looking desperately for them without any luck (I was missing the word “mosaic”) so I’m so happy to see this video 🙌
I honestly really like how the pinkie nail turned out. It doesn't look "mosiac", more prismatic like a crystal. I can imagine certain handbangs/purses these would look really fantastic with.
💗 Special thanks and appreciation to you for making out time to watch and also comment. Thanks for the love, positivity and support💖. You have been selected as my lucky draw Winner💝🛍️
I've always assumed that these would be best decorated the same as the saran wrap ice nails, that concept anyway. Just like with those and with rhinestones as well, if you put gel over it then you lose the detail, obviously. That's where the chromes really come in handy. I didn't realize the backs were indented, that actually gives me ideas but it would very tedious.
The few times I saw people using these tips they used things like holo chrome powders or like holo type clear gels over the mosaic to accentuate it, then encapsulated in clear so it looks like glass but hits the light beautifully due to the chrome/holo etc. This is the first time I've seen someone paint them with colors. I actually love how the middle finger turned out! Super interesting product and it looked fun to play around with...and I was waiting for one to get a hole from filing lol. TFS!
The transitions were awesome! I normally get super bored when you show glitters and fast forward through it but the transitions helped me stay focused and interested! Great job 👏🏼
I actually really liked how the middle thumb and pinky turned out! I know it's kinda subtle, but the lines at certain angles were really pronounced and I could see the pattern clearly! They reminded me of those glass cube-walls! I know you weren't super impressed, but you definitely turned them out! :)
hi em! i just wanted to say that i did my own gel polish today for the first time, i've been watching you for years and i finally decided it was time to start doing my own nails!! i'm just doing gel polish on my naturals for now, i plan to try full cover tips next so i can make my own press-ons :) you definitely inspired me to do this, you have such a beginner-friendly approach and your designs are my favorite 💖
Hi Emily. I'm so glad to see your video. I just came on to leave a comment to see if you were OK then saw you uploaded yesterday. I've just switched notifications on for your channel. You are my favourite nail channel. I binge watched your videos. Watching your channel inspires me and I now have the nail bug. I have done 2 sets of makartt polygel and 2 sets of acrylic. Due to mental health issues, being almost housebound & years of finding the right combination of medications I didn't have any drive to do anything but mainly thanks to you and a few other nail channels I now have some enjoyment and a brilliant hobby, nails. Sorry for long comment but I wanted you to know how much you're appreciated. I know that you have your own struggles similar to myself so it makes you even more amazing for making content. Keep doing you hun xxx
Those nail glitters and gems that came with that big set were just like so freaking awesome! And then the glow in the dark I loved the colors❤️ I love those tips but they definitely seem to be harder to do than it seems but I know that if anyone can figure them out and make them just look absolutely amazing it's you!!! Another cool idea maybe is painting the nail then taking one of the glow in the dark colors and just use a small nail brush and paint just the tips of the bumps maybe idk I get this vision in my head and sometimes I'm just like wait would that look good 😆 I can't believe I missed out on meeting you when you came down to Florida I live just a few hours away that would have literally been one of the best days of my life if I got to meet you ❤️
the first mosaic nail top looks like a pine tree with the green ombre!! (before you filed down) maybe when you do a christmas set you can use the nail as a christmas tree! :)
You fill them with different colors underneath then you file on topand topcoat. You can do pigments gels glitters etc. Try swirls or maybe alternate 2 colors for the perfect checkerboard when filed! 🎉
I love that the glitter was also glowing ✨️ hope ur tests go well & you resolve ur little issues quickly! My real nails have also been lifting...thats crazy! I've had these tips for over a year, almost 2 years too. I also can't figure out what to do with them. Maybe they just suck lol 😆 thank u for the video!! I've missed you! Hope David & the dogs are doing good too! Hugs!
For the nails. Try using the Sally Hansen hard as nails. Put it on, and once it is completely dry, like overnight, do your nails on top of that. That worked great for me. You can use your peel off base coat on top of it. I liked the 3D nails. You definitely need to use a transparent gel, and those iridescent powders to make the light jump.
Oh I loved the way the middle finger one turned out! It's clear so you can see the patten of the nail but the shimmer it has makes it look even more 3D and super cool. I think maybe that's the way to go with these tips maybe?
I actually think the pink glitter one turned out really cute!! I really hope you have another attempt at these with some of the ideas in the comments ☺️🥰
Oh n sending lots of love and prayers for whatever health issues you may be dealing with!! I’m going through some health problems myself!! It’s tough but only makes us stronger!!
💗 Special thanks and appreciation to you for making out time to watch and also comment. Thanks for the love, positivity and support💖. You have been selected as my lucky draw Winner💗🛍️
We use vortexes in lab to mix test tubes! eBay might have some cheap ones, ones for lab purpose or paint mixing might be a bit more sturdier and stronger than the “nail” brand ones, though they don’t come in pink color unfortunately 😂
I use a vortexer in my lab to mix C*v!d samples before testing! However, they actually *add* bubbles which is exactly what we do NOT want in our nail products. A rocker, or some sort of rotator, would probably work a lot better for mixing without introducing too many bubbles. /not sorry for being long winded, I'm a Medical Laboratory Scientist who loves explaining these things to whoever pays attention 🤣
I actually really like how the pink thumbnail turned out, I think the pattern really came out on that one somehow. And I thought the glitter transitions were really fun, not overkill at all!🖤💖🖤
Oh I'm quite excited to be so early 🤭 I would like to see a video on stamping, especially ways to stamp with powders 🤩 These tips I feel would have looked super cool painted dark and then with dual crome powder! Love your content, you have gotten so far ❤️
The one I liked the most was the jelly nail without the lime green lines added. Maybe add some iridescent glitter on top. I feel like the solid color made the mosaic more noticeable.
i saw a small handful of videos on youtube for these nail tips and the main designs seemed to be cracked ice and gemstones. but i really like how you designed these!
I like your ramblings, I also have had to deal with a lot of meds/blood work so I can definitely relate! I love abstract designs so I really like what you came up with!❤
These tips are typically used with acrylic. The acrylic is put on real thick and different colors and then file down to where the plastic shows. It gives Nails a stained glass look
This was a fun experiment video!! And that shape 😍 I know they were already kind of shaped, but the end result looked absolutely incredible and I feel like you’ve come such a long way! ❤ I really love your videos so much, they always make me smile
I also have a thyroid disorder and I notice impacts to my nails and hair if my hormones are off. If you arent seeing an endocrinologist (instead of an ENT) i recommend finding one. I hope things get figured out soon!
I really liked the pink and powder nails they were really pretty. I think it'd be quite cool to maybe put a powder on the underside of them or do some sort of design on the underside and then just do clear on top. Or maybe it could be interesting to use the shape to your advantage and paint little snowy mountain ranges on your nails. I'd love to see more with these tips!
💗 Special thanks and appreciation to you for making out time to watch and also comment. Thanks for the love, positivity and support💖. You have been selected as my lucky draw Winner💝🛍️
I’ve seen these on like AliExpress and stuff and was really curious about how they would work lol Also, have you seen the “kitsch nails” trend? I feel like it’s so cute and I feel like they would be a lot of fun to do!! Kitsch kinda just means like “tacky” or “too much” but you know it is and that’s the point 😂 I’ve been seeing them more and more on UA-cam lately and I love how ✨extra✨ they are! Plus, I love 3D nail art because my ADHD self needs something to stimulate my brain 24/7 lol
The full tips are great as polygel duel forms! I use them as forms all the time love it far more then using them as tips themselves and it brings out the gem design so much more then haiving to put gel on top of them. I typically use a heat gun to heat the poly gel a bit or sit with them in between my legs to warm then up before I put them in the tips/forms to prevent air bubbles. If you still get them in the tops of rhen gems just take a sewing needle and poke into the area with a bubble to get rid of them. Its a bit time consuming but I honestly love the elegant look and usually they last a long time if I take care of then right!
💗 Special thanks and appreciation to you for making out time to watch and also comment. Thanks for the love, positivity and support💖. You have been selected as my lucky draw Winner💝🛍️
Maybe a light opalescent builder gel/ acrylic under the nail til it’s a normal smooth under nail. Paint other colors in the ridges on the top of the nail. File down the texture quite a bit, and clear cap it.
high 👋 Emily! I seen a lady do them years ago with ink and acrylic. I thinks she colored the monomer and used clear acrylic. maybe try that. it had a beautiful effect
i think they are suppose de to be used inverse of normal. Like you put your glitter or holo powder under the nails in the square and then put colors and stuff. When the squares are full and the underside is uniform, you can file the top of the nails to make the motif whit what you put under. just add a top coat. Maybe try it to see if it looks good :)
With those Rigid nails it’s making me think of when people were scrunching plastic wrap to make the gel cure with rigids in it then colored it and filled it down maybe you could do that with these 😊
I liked them most with the jelly polish. I would most definitely fill in the underside with clear gel. I think they showed up subtle, but not so subtle at the same time ? Pretty with the iridescent powder and glitter. I didn't care for the other polishes. That's my 6 cents 😀
Maybe go in between tge ridges with color and then file it down, with mosaic you glue the tiles and grout the hole thing wipe the grout down then its mosaic so go with color in between file the pointy thins down then it will look like mosaic after every thing, i think that will work, love you videos ❤️
💗 Special thanks and appreciation to you for making out time to watch and also comment. Thanks for the love, positivity and support💖. You have been selected as my lucky draw Winner💝🛍️
I wonder how these would work with a magnetic gel polish. Like, you could cover the whole nail with the gel, and then use the magnet to get shimmers on the spikes.
i have the same hard gel! I got the ones that have the two glitters the lavender, and pink, white, and clear. I love using it to protect my bare nails.
Try to put a color gel on the back of the nail. On the top put another color gel and after curing file the top to lower the bumps then put the builder gel and file as usual. Maybe that works.
I love that you don't do a massive mountain as an apex. I'm still learning and I've just got my cuticle area to a point I'm happy with but I don't like massive apex, I do them shorter than yours and it makes me happy to see that in order to make them last and be strong that you don't have to have a MAHOOSIVE apex xXx
Yeah, I also feel like the mosaic pieces, the little pyramids, have to be filled from underneath, before sticking the tips on. Be it with color, or clear, or clear and effects powders. Even just to fill the structure and be able to file without filing through. But it would be nice to see or hear from the seller or manufacturer, how these are supposed to be used.
I think using a duo chrome powder on the bottom or a nail foil on the bottom would look cool. The light seems to create a shift but I don’t know if putting the pigments on top or on the bottom would make a difference
I wonder if putting like a super thin layer of topcoat then using some kind of rub on powder like a multichrome or iridescent powder on the underside of the tip would work better 🤔 The tips look so cool but they look so confusing to work with
💗 Special thanks and appreciation to you for making out time to watch and also comment. Thanks for the love, positivity and support💖. You have been selected as my lucky draw Winner💗🛍️
What if you only fill in the mosaic prices underneath like each indent with its own color and the make the nail full with hard gel on top to make it smooth idk maybe it would do a good effect
My exact thoughts. I was scoping the comment section to see if it was mentioned. Hopefully she see this!
I came here to comment this too. I didn't really see a good shot of the bottom of them to see if they are indented from the bottom too or if they are flat.
Was thinking the same too, since it can be filled up for underneath, that was my first thought 😅
@@lizevelsizer9403 they’re indented from the bottom
That's exactly what I was going to say!!! Lol
Very pretty. I would try painting them black and rubbing a nice Iridescent into it so the geometric shape pops maybe.
My same thought!
Good
Idea😊
I actually like how the pink nail turned out! It reminds me of a gemstone. I think the texture under the nail would bother me too much though 😬
Same!
You can smooth it out with builder or poly gel or something.
I like the clear ones you did, with or without glitter, the mosaic effect is subtle but adds an extra layer of interest.

The thumb nail, middle and pony I thought were all really cute!! I honestly really like the effect of the mosaic encapsulated!!❤

I feel every bit of your struggle with thyroid and iron deficiency! It's hard to hang in there when they're out of whack! I'm with you in spirit. ❤️
I liked the glitter transitions, the close ups were cool to watch because you can see the glitter in detail💗

Just happened to open youtube and it said 4 minutes ago! Super excited to see these mosaic tips they look really cool
I really like how it looks with the powder on the pinky. it really highlighted the texture
Thanks for posting!! Was bored out of my mind heh. Clicked on this vid so fast. Your vids are legitimately fun to watch.. thanks 😊☺️🙏💞
I think at Christmas they'd look lovely they remind me off the cracked ice nails x

@@EmilySusanah your the best 💜
@@EmilySusanahI know this was over a year ago, but I think those tips with the design on them are to be used with the Gel underneath.
I really liked the nails you put just powder on. Simple but with some texture
i think a jelly polish underneath with clear on top would look good!!
I really like how the tumb turned out 💞
Your videos always seem to come out on my worst days ♥️ I love sitting down and spending time with my friend 🥹

they don’t look bad! They just look like a regular tip though. All the other nail stuff looks nice, that glitter and powder is gorgeous!!
I love the colors of those pigments! Definitely considering adding them to my collection!
i think they are suppose de to be used inverse of normal. Like you put your glitter or holo powder under the nails in the square and then put colors and stuff. When the squares are full and the underside is uniform, you can file the top of the nails to make the motif whit what you put under. just add a top coat. Maybe try it to see if it looks good :)
With those Rigid nails it’s making me think of when people were scrunching plastic wrap to make the gel cure with rigids in it then colored it and filled it down maybe you could do that with these 😊
Thank you for being my outlet during the passing of my father, I needed this.
My condolences 🥺
I polished the tip on the underside placed it on a prepped nail bed. Came out pretty good.
Fill in underneath maybe... Intresting for sure. So glad you uploaded. Thank u Emily :)
I liked them most with the jelly polish. I would most definitely fill in the underside with clear gel. I think they showed up subtle, but not so subtle at the same time ? Pretty with the iridescent powder and glitter. I didn't care for the other polishes. That's my 6 cents 😀
Hope everything is good health wise Emily! As for the nails, you win some you lose some!
I think the thumb was the cutest nail

i didnt realize how early i am to this video! i love you content! i hope everyone who sees this has an amazing day!
Lol the pattern of those mosaic tips reminds me of the Epcot ball
14:03 the pink jelly gel over the tip kinda reminded me of the new bbw packaging for champagne toast lol
My favorites are definitely the thumb and middle finger
i have the same hard gel! I got the ones that have the two glitters the lavender, and pink, white, and clear. I love using it to protect my bare nails.
Even though they didn't come out how you wanted still enjoyed the video. Also hope you feel better ❤
Try to put a color gel on the back of the nail. On the top put another color gel and after curing file the top to lower the bumps then put the builder gel and file as usual. Maybe that works.

I love your videos, you are so talented! I want to try nails but I don't even know where to start 😂
