Brother. Thank you. I had gone through the fuses and all that... then i called the eletrician, $130 an hour.. i was loke, well, gotta accetp sometimes and just do my work and pay someone to do their work.. Then I did one more search, watched your video, was sure wasnt the fuse. But you know, went check again, just because.. so i pulled the 22, wrong one, then I pulled the 26, same as you did... bam, was burned. God helps man, as long as no panic, accept.. try. Thanks for the video, we no get nowhere by ourselves.
Thank you after watching your video I realized my fuse in the number 26 was missing have no clue why it was missing must have needed it somewhere else put a fuse in it works now great thank you.
Thanks. This thing been a problem for months. Ford Exp bu lights. Wire from od switch chaffed. It is not easy to see the problem . You must look CAREFULLY. But it was there. Don't know if its my only problem but it is definately one. Thanks a million.
I tried this and my wire was also stripped, once I put everything together I also noticed that my #26 and #6 fuse was blown. On my 2000 3.0 v6 xl the reverse light fuse was #6. Thanks for the video, saved me like $200 bucks
Thank you for your Video. al though in my cas (2000 Ford Ranger XLT) it seems Ford might have repaired the OD cable issue, I learned there was a fuse for the backup lights. I did check inspect the cable though. Thanks!
I have a manual transmission, M5OD I think it is. I'm not sure about this for my issue. 1996 manual transmission Bronco (all stock). My Reverse Lights refuse to come on. #5 15-amp fuse good, bulbs new and tried new ones also, Reverse switch on tranny is good. I jumpered the wire to be sure. All ground wires test and look good. Something is not allowing power after the fuse and tranny switch to reach the backend, or it has a broken power line after the fuse and switch on the main harness somewhere. Does the Reverse lights flow through this switch on a manual? Thanks!
Excellent Video! No B. S. Strait to the point . Good information.

Saved me hours of debugging the backup light and running lights. The wear point was the root problem. Thanks.

The chime should only be active when key is IN ignition, or lights are left on.
