OMG! This is such a throwback for me. 'Mic Drop' was the first mv/song I ever saw of BTS and I was hooked from the starts. That was almost 2 years ago. I didn't know anything about them and could not tell apart. I'm horrible with faces so it took me a long time. I love them & love seeing other fall in love with them too. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 It's so great to be re-watching it you. Did you know this song was inspired by Barack Obama?
Ddaeng, Ugh, Outro:Tear are must. Also their Cypher series 1-4 are amazing. The rapline aren't just put there by company to rap. But they rap because they really can rap 😁. Do I make sense ?
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JHOPE!!!!!! Letting you know that that Jhope outfit with the dior is ICONIC!! Mic drop has 3 dance breaks and I wish they would’ve performed it at the ptd concert when I was there (I went day 1 and 4). But hopefully let’s pray about the concert in Seoul coming up Mic drop and idol are songs that don’t seem like a song to the haters but actually are 😭
Honestly Mic Drop is such a statement. Bear in mind this came out in 2017 when BTS were still facing a lot of heat in Korea and hate. It wasn't until 2018 that they hit the superstar status which made it a bit harder to snub BTS. But 2017 was still alot of hate so this was a beautiful song for us and them. Very therepeutic and its still a bop! I loved both of your reactions to this masterpiece!! Caitlin picking up on the class references and your accent analysis was amazing! CFA
Mic Drop wasn't the first BTS mv I ever saw (it was Dope and I had it on my playlist for a YEAR until I actually became a fan literally WHAT was I doing), but when I saw it I was so blown away and in love it made me want to look into them. Shout out to Thanksgiving of 2017, the weekend when BTS broke down my front door and made me fall in love with them lol
On your own time, you should check out the special video Steve Aioki created to celebrate Mic Drop’s 1 billion views. He did such a nice thank you video, with all the songs he worked on with BTS. He really likes the guys. Omg, that fan art is fantastic !
OH after your reaction to this song I can't wait to your reaction to Outro: Tear. It's a rapline song but all the rappers are amazing in it and JHope has similar aggressive vocals as in this song. Caitlin will also really appreciate the metaphors and beauty of the lyrics!
fun fact about BTS’ “diss tracks”: they actually never name anyone! it’s always more of a “if the shoe fits…” kind of vibe and it’s always very entertaining watching BTS-antis go absolutely mad on twitter because they think BTS are attacking their faves when they aren’t mentioned at all lol also if you would like another “diss track” that is only by the rapline member, i would really recommend “ddaeng” and the explanation video by dkdktv! the song is free on Soundcloud and BTS released it in 2018 during their Festa (kind of a 2-week celebration before their group anniversary on june 13). The performance is amazing and the wordplays are genius. thanks for the reaction 💜
As with BTS, there are so many versions of 'Mic Drop' - the original, the Steve Aoki Remix, the performance versions (Korean, Japanese, Steve Aoki Remix), end-of-year stage and concert versions with the dance break and an inadvertent performance that should have had the dance break but for some reason the music didn't include that part (oops). When BTS were invited to perform on Saturday Night Live in April 2019, they debuted 'Boy With Luv' from Map of the Soul: Persona; their second song was 'Mic Drop', which is from an earlier release, Love Yourself: Her (2017). BTS blew up on social media in the U.S. after that and they really took off in the states. [Caveat: They were already popular with 'DNA' and 'Fake Love' but that SNL performance was crazy.]
When I found this song, I thought that it was time for Bad A$$. With all the darkness throuw at them it wa like enough is enough now it's our turn. Spit fire confidence. proving they won the game. It didn't matter about their enemies, anymore. The members, together, strong as a unit. Enough said. MIC DROP.
Andrew & Caitlin, I won't forget this reaction. My therapy session started exactly when your video dropped, so I was all red-eyed and Kleenex'd up when I pressed play. Watching you discover Mic Drop was just the fun I needed. THANK YOU for brightening my day, as always, both of you!! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 And seriously, I eat up every music lesson you give on these reactions... I feel so ignorant about rhythm now that you've opened my eyes to so many ways BTS has used it, and there are so many more songs! Woohoo! Glad you're able to join in now when ARMY jams out to Mic Drop. P.S. Possibly the most natural / impressive Skillshare plug ever? P.P.S. HOW COULD I NOT acknowledge the School of Rock reference?? Literally one of my favorite movies. 🤣🤪 CFA
Hahaha I need to talk about more music things! Everyone was loving this one 😂 Also omg that plug was completely natural up to when the logo finished. I was planning on doing it later, but it just flowed out of me and even Caitlin was like "woah, I didn't know we were doing it yet" 😂 Let's. rock. Let's. rock. Today. It's a very long shake
im not sure 100% about this but from what i understand, Mic drop has a korean version? then they collab with Aoki but because that version takes Jhope and Suga part because somebody was rapping instead of them in the beginning, they chose this version without the other rapper to make an official video for mic drop. also, this maybe the first ever mostly english song by BTS. i remember RM saying they arent ready to make a full english song yet but then again dynamite happened. :)
this reaction is another precious one. caitlin made me feel like it was my first time watching it again. and yeah, as nice other armys pointed out in the comments: mic drop is a bop, and hobi (our february 18th birthday boy) performing it is something else.
My absolute favorite live performance of this song is from the 2017 MAMAs. They did Cypher 4 and Mic Drop back to back, and it was amazing watching them do diss tracks in front of the rest of the industry at an award show
Yesss that's my fav too! They performed it with so much energy and passion that I was so surprised to know that they even performed 3 songs before Mc drop 🥺
The Mic Drop MV is the very first one I watched of them, and they just hooked me in in a split second. I remember seeing who I didn’t know at the time was Hobi, and thinking “he’s so cool!”. This just brings me back to those moments🥺😍 Mic Drop is still a masterpiece!
It's so refreshing to see u enjoy a hip hop song. This was an iconic song. Everyone was hating on them for getting nominated for billboard social artist and then winning the award. This was a perfect reply to the haters. They performed this in a Korean music award show right after they came back from US after winning billboard award. Can't wait to see which song u select next. Maybe something from their older album.
Mic Drop! Bam! One of BTS's best bangers. Perfect reaction for Hobi's birthday (I'm glad you're getting a more complete picture of his talent). By the way, every time they perform this song, Hobi changes up his choreo at the beginning. One more thing---my favorite part of your reaction is when you're in music teacher mode. Kudos!
Mic Drop was my first introduction to BTS. It holds a special place in my heart. The dance break at the end can be seen in full in the Dance Practice of the original song. I'm so pleased that it featured in the version that you watched live. You can see the hard work put in by the boys to perform it. It's amazing.
Love seeing you both together. The song being inspired by Obama’s famous mic drop always makes me giggle because yes this is very much the haters can be mad we are just going to collect trophies and keep winning no time to even notice the haters. I love their subtle digs like Ratatouille they don’t need to be vulgar yo insult you. Full swag but not overly negative. Their foundation is rap and hip hop so the top songs and vocal songs don’t highlight this but yes lots of their catalog especially older songs are high energy hip hop. Of course live is another level. All of them in the custom Dior is a lot for me visually, big yes for JHope in particular. FYI Steve Aoki wrote a vocal ballad for BTS, one of the best vocal line unit songs as good or better than House of Cards, The Truth Untold. Caitlin might really appreciate the mythology they built in the story telling with the lyrics. Yay fan art of the week. Have a great week both of you!
I love how Suga rides soooo far back on the beat in his part. It leaves me breathless every time I hear this performance. Like, "Oh no, what if he never catches up this time?!" 😆 But of course he does it perfectly, because he's the king, he's the boss, he's Min-freakin'-Yoongi! 💜💜💜
Mic Drop was a nice nod back to their 2013-2014 discography that was hard-hitting, hiphop based that was mostly rapline-led. Speaking of clapback songs, it would be amazing if you could one day go through the rapline cyphers. There are 4 of them from O!RUL8,2?, Skool Luv Affair, Dark & Wild, and Wings; and the worldplay and flow is just out of this world.
I love this song ! It was really playful and fun.. the rappers have the CYPHERS 1,2,3 and DDAENG as clapback to haters also and that was more heavy and suga had AGUST D and JOKE from RM. . They have song titled SILVER SPOON or BAEPSAE too ..about how they were this crowtits/underdogs who try to catch up with the storks..It was very artistically written with a lot of metaphors which was explained by a korean in DKDKTV 😊💜 I love watching your reactions to this esp since you watched the bts hardships before.. It feels satisfying 😁 💜
*giggles in Joke & Agust D* Just wait until you get into some of their older stuff (Dark & Wild album is 🔥🔥🔥) and into the raplines solo work!! So excited to watch your journey! 💜
Keep in mind that during this concert set, MIC Drop follows Outro Tear...so the rappers are so SPENT!! I was always amazed at how they keep going!!! There is NOTHING like live!!! Bring on Vegas!!!
Mic drop was my first comeback as ARMY. I remember sneaking to stream the MV for the 24h UA-cam views while my family were sleeping. I just love this MV and the nostalgia..
Pleeeeeeeeease do Outro:Tear next. Preferably the live version from Wembley (same Dior outfits you just saw). You have to and Caitlin must watch too. This song has some of the most heart wrenching lyrics in the whole of BTS’s catalogue.
You and Caitlin together = always a great time! I can't help but laugh every time Caitlin giggle! This is one of my favourite BTS hype songs and I'm so glad you both finally get to see it! 💜 CFA
What amazes me most about the rapline is how well they can fit rap into songs you wouldn't think would have rap in it at all, I'd love to see other rappers try to make rap verses for some of the non hip hoppy songs rapline are in because it wouldn't be easy
This reaction might be my new favorite. When we say BTS' music includes all the genres, we mean it and according to me Mic Drop is a genre you haven't listened from BTS yet, therefore i was excited to see your reaction to it. Also well done with the lyrics Caitlin and well done with the music analysis Andrew 🤌 I really enjoyed it, thanks for reacting it 💜 -CFA

really cool reaction! i noticed that you said this is more different than other songs you have listened to, and i can agree and i think i know why, since your style is more of a jazz and musical kind of vibe, the recommendations you've been getting from your comments and videos are songs that are more musically and vocally driven! i notice that in other reaction channels for example, if their vibe is more on rap, rap driven or hip hop songs are usually recommended to them first! but nonetheless, its really fun seeing people react to the different and beautiful sides of BTS!
Ahhh, my catalyst down the rabbit hole!😁 Good times. Andrew and Caitlin, you gave me the giggles!😆 Caitlin with The School of Rock reference, I see you.😄 Andrew, as always dropping the musical knowledge in a way everyone can grasp. Thank you!😊 Journey on... 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Yeaaahhh you responded to MicDrop! My absolute favorite upbeat BTS song, the one that got me hooked! Oh, and that dance routine at the end: it's been on repeat ever since I first saw it! (Plus my moving lockscreen on my phone LOL) 😍😍
As you were on doolset looking at lyrics I'm sure you already know there was an original mic drop prior to the collaboration with Aoki, you might enjoy checking out the differences! :) And since you enjoyed them clapping back I'm sure you guys (especially Caitlin) will enjoy the rap-lines Cyphers 1-4 and what we (ARMY) tend to refer to as the unofficial cypher 5 UGH! x')
Hi, I am back. Good reaction. ty. Mic Drop: It's a slap in the face for their haters by saying they're at a point where it doesn't matter what you say because your words don't matter anymore. It's also a flex song by pointing out how many trophies they have because at this point they'd need a U-Haul to get them all. Just for an example, in Korea there are weekly music shows by various stations and the winner gets a trophy. Dynamite has 36 (I think) award show wins and that's without any promotion on their end. Fun fact: Mic Drop was inspired by President Obama's mic drop when he left office. =0] Never saw that live very cool. But I know about the dance break they added. There is a practice video for that. And they have performed this song with the new choreo for a while now. I saw another live with it. It is a perfect addition to the original choreo though they just made it harder as usual. =0p So glad u loved this song like I do. Hugs. Stay safe. Love u both! -NY USA Army💟
You guys had the perfect energy for Mic Drop! I love how much she liked the sassy ness of Mic Drop and how you both looked deeper into the lyrics! You guys rock! 💜💜
I can hardly believe that you have not done this one before! Mic Drop is the gateway BTS entry for a LOT of ARMY. I could watch it a thousand times. It has all my favorite BTS elements; lyrics, choreo, swag, and now you help me appreciate the musical interesting bits. It's amazing how you catch those things on the first listen! Aand, Kailin I bet you would love the dance practice for this, it really shows that hot dance break. Thanks to you both!
So you decided to go with this one its a good choice and this song is one of the only bts songs i know of by heart in korean and english that i can sing along to also I am in love with the style especially Hobi's in this MV as he was the one that got me into wearing bucket hats
Watching you guys enjoy the Steve Aoki Mic Drop Remix was delightful. I'm glad you found things to like about it even though it's not your preferred music genre! It's the 3rd BTS mv that I'd watched and the one that made me go "Ok! I'm in!" 😁 I'd be interested in your comparison of it to the original. Andrew: Everytime you do that two handed snapping thing to illustrate a point, it's very clear and so satisfying-sounding... and I get so jealous because I can only get a good snap with my left hand. 😆 Caitlin: School of Rock!! Yesss! 😄
Hahaha I have had a lot of practice snapping while teaching. When I don't have a metronome present (or don't want to use one for one reason or another) snapping is really helpful. Also it's a less annoying than clapping and you can usually hear it really clearly because it cuts through the sound... anyway it's fun 🤩
That’s such an interesting point you make about them ending the song on the bridge! I never thought about it like that. Clever! All of the members of BTS are so kind and they’re such good people, so I think some people get surprised (?) seeing this side of them, but I love seeing them clap back the way they do. They are clever, skillful, strong, and fair (IMO) in their responses to haters. I’m so so curious to see your reaction to their Cyphers (especially Pt. 2: Triptych), Baepsae, UGH!, and some of the rap line’s solo work and associated explain videos!
Caitlin: "I''m a poet". - yes, you are!❤ You guys are seriously just feeding my soul. Andrew you are so good at explaining those musical "tricks", I'm sure that's not the right word, but you know what I mean. I wish you would do more of those! I still remember back to when you did a reaction to "ON" the MV, and you explained about how Yoongi was rapping "between the beat" it was and still is, so interesting.
Yayyy I'm so happy to see you really witness BTS' different side for the first time! I love their more savage/rap-heavy stuff, and I think you will too, judging by this reaction 😁 also, I can't get over how cute you guys are. I love your energy and I could watch you all day being enthusiastic about stuff! Looking forward to the next 💜 And as a fellow musician, I love the way you break down those small musical things you notice :)
Hahahaha The fact that I immediately recognised the "STEP OFF!" reference before the clip played! 😂😂😂 Loved seeing both your reactions to this iconic song! ☺💜
So happy to see you react to this…my first ever official BTS mv I watched! The Mic Drop dance practice is extended a little more as well (for an award show performance)…one of my favourite practices! I love how you guys interact with us so much - from the polls, inside jokes and now art. Just posted on discord…it’s the only fan art I’ve done & enjoyed it so much. A much looser style than I usually do for portraits. I was practicing light and the reference photo I used of Taehyung in ON was perfect for it. See you next week! Happy Hobi Day! 🎂💜

That's right, it is Hobi day!! I always get confused by the time difference so I wasn't sure if it was yesterday or today
"Oooh that was good"
"...I'm a poet"
i swear you two crack me up 😅
OMG THAT'S MY DRAWING!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH ANDREW 💜
Absolutely!! I think you cheated by picking my favorite song, but I honestly think that it is fantastic 😊
Yaaaaay CAMILLE!!!!
Girl you got talent talent wth that picture was so accurate 💜
it looks amazing 👏
Istg V and jk look like twins in this performance and their parts follow each other 😂👏
And mic drop j-hope is just the best 🔥 it's his BD tho 🥳
It's so great to be re-watching it you. Did you know this song was inspired by Barack Obama?
I just heard that in another comment, and that's is so iconic and awesome 😀

Ddaeng, Ugh, Outro:Tear are must. Also their Cypher series 1-4 are amazing. The rapline aren't just put there by company to rap. But they rap because they really can rap 😁. Do I make sense ?
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JHOPE!!!!!!
Letting you know that that Jhope outfit with the dior is ICONIC!!
Mic drop has 3 dance breaks and I wish they would’ve performed it at the ptd concert when I was there (I went day 1 and 4). But hopefully let’s pray about the concert in Seoul coming up
Mic drop and idol are songs that don’t seem like a song to the haters but actually are 😭
Yes! Although Mic Drop is pretty aggressive, it makes sense that it's against their haters 😂
The original special performance has THREE dance breaks!!!!!
you mean the MAMA version?
Honestly Mic Drop is such a statement. Bear in mind this came out in 2017 when BTS were still facing a lot of heat in Korea and hate. It wasn't until 2018 that they hit the superstar status which made it a bit harder to snub BTS. But 2017 was still alot of hate so this was a beautiful song for us and them. Very therepeutic and its still a bop! I loved both of your reactions to this masterpiece!! Caitlin picking up on the class references and your accent analysis was amazing!
CFA
Thank you so much!! 😀
LOL I love the old school Batman rabbit hole transition!!!!
Tell me how many other rappers can work "ratatouille" into their lyrics and actually make it sound good.
😂
i admit to giving a small shout when you paused in the middle of the SOPE-transition oommmgggg
J-hope always goes OFF in live micdrop. Like, no words lol
Hahaha I need to watch more versions now!
👁👄👁 Mic Drop BTS are my favorite iteration. The style, the swag, the fits, the demeanor... whole package 10/10 would fangirl again.
On your own time, you should check out the special video Steve Aioki created to celebrate Mic Drop’s 1 billion views. He did such a nice thank you video, with all the songs he worked on with BTS. He really likes the guys. Omg, that fan art is fantastic !
And the buildup behind those accents is chef's kiss
BTS started out as a hiphop group. Maybe you can check out their early stuff! F.i. their first show case, with No More Dream!
OH after your reaction to this song I can't wait to your reaction to Outro: Tear. It's a rapline song but all the rappers are amazing in it and JHope has similar aggressive vocals as in this song. Caitlin will also really appreciate the metaphors and beauty of the lyrics!
fun fact about BTS’ “diss tracks”: they actually never name anyone! it’s always more of a “if the shoe fits…” kind of vibe and it’s always very entertaining watching BTS-antis go absolutely mad on twitter because they think BTS are attacking their faves when they aren’t mentioned at all lol
also if you would like another “diss track” that is only by the rapline member, i would really recommend “ddaeng” and the explanation video by dkdktv! the song is free on Soundcloud and BTS released it in 2018 during their Festa (kind of a 2-week celebration before their group anniversary on june 13). The performance is amazing and the wordplays are genius.
thanks for the reaction 💜
Yess pls watch it with the expained by Korean video💜
Jhope is what got me into BTS through this performance. Happy birthday Hobi💜☀️
Hobi Day!!
When I found this song, I thought that it was time for Bad A$$. With all the darkness throuw at them it wa like enough is enough now it's our turn. Spit fire confidence. proving they won the game. It didn't matter about their enemies, anymore. The members, together, strong as a unit. Enough said. MIC DROP.
BTW their MAMA performance of this song is epic if you wanna be extra impressed 😊
You mean MMA 2017?:)
And seriously, I eat up every music lesson you give on these reactions...
CFA
Hahaha I need to talk about more music things! Everyone was loving this one 😂
Also omg that plug was completely natural up to when the logo finished. I was planning on doing it later, but it just flowed out of me and even Caitlin was like "woah, I didn't know we were doing it yet" 😂
Let's. rock. Let's. rock. Today. It's a very long shake
@@AndrewBergSax "We're not goofing off. We're creating musical fusion."
I'm impressed but not surprised. (🤔 Does that make sense?)
im not sure 100% about this but from what i understand, Mic drop has a korean version? then they collab with Aoki but because that version takes Jhope and Suga part because somebody was rapping instead of them in the beginning, they chose this version without the other rapper to make an official video for mic drop. also, this maybe the first ever mostly english song by BTS. i remember RM saying they arent ready to make a full english song yet but then again dynamite happened. :)
Mic Drop had an original version yep. This is the remix.
this reaction is another precious one. caitlin made me feel like it was my first time watching it again. and yeah, as nice other armys pointed out in the comments: mic drop is a bop, and hobi (our february 18th birthday boy) performing it is something else.
Omg my all time favorite too. So much swag and energy! They did it like it was their last day
Ooh they were so sweaty by the end😅😅
The Mic Drop MV is the very first one I watched of them, and they just hooked me in in a split second. I remember seeing who I didn’t know at the time was Hobi, and thinking “he’s so cool!”.
This just brings me back to those moments🥺😍 Mic Drop is still a masterpiece!
I think it's time for them to explore Hip-hop rap heavy bangtan 🤫😉😉 BTS started being a hiphop group guys don't forget 🤣
Kudos!
Hahaha thanks! I try to give a nice mixture of music teacher and just being fun 😂
Mic Drop was my first introduction to BTS. It holds a special place in my heart. The dance break at the end can be seen in full in the Dance Practice of the original song. I'm so pleased that it featured in the version that you watched live. You can see the hard work put in by the boys to perform it. It's amazing.
Fun fact: Jin actually makes the mic drop sound.
Mic Drop was the first BTS song I heard and it’s still one of my favourites 💕
I get so pumped listening to it!
I normally recommend Mic Drop to anybody to show BTS as a first look because it shows a bit of everything.
Mic drop and dna were the songs that made me realize I needed to Stan! Such absolute bops
It was really playful and fun.. the rappers have the CYPHERS 1,2,3 and DDAENG as clapback to haters also and that was more heavy and suga had AGUST D and JOKE from RM. .
They have song titled SILVER SPOON or BAEPSAE too ..about how they were this crowtits/underdogs who try to catch up with the storks..It was very artistically written with a lot of metaphors which was explained by a korean in DKDKTV 😊💜
I love watching your reactions to this esp since you watched the bts hardships before.. It feels satisfying 😁 💜
*giggles in Joke & Agust D*
Just wait until you get into some of their older stuff (Dark & Wild album is 🔥🔥🔥) and into the raplines solo work!! So excited to watch your journey! 💜
Keep in mind that during this concert set, MIC Drop follows Outro Tear...so the rappers are so SPENT!! I was always amazed at how they keep going!!! There is NOTHING like live!!! Bring on Vegas!!!
what's so cool about this song is that it was released the day after my birthday!
Mic drop was my first comeback as ARMY. I remember sneaking to stream the MV for the 24h UA-cam views while my family were sleeping. I just love this MV and the nostalgia..
Love that you included a live performance after the music video. Happy Hobi Day!!!
Happy Hobi Day 😄
Pleeeeeeeeease do Outro:Tear next. Preferably the live version from Wembley (same Dior outfits you just saw). You have to and Caitlin must watch too. This song has some of the most heart wrenching lyrics in the whole of BTS’s catalogue.
There are live performances with 3(!) dance breaks 😎 so epic!
Their stage presence is on another level 💜💜
You and Caitlin together = always a great time! I can't help but laugh every time Caitlin giggle! This is one of my favourite BTS hype songs and I'm so glad you both finally get to see it! 💜
CFA
💜
What amazes me most about the rapline is how well they can fit rap into songs you wouldn't think would have rap in it at all, I'd love to see other rappers try to make rap verses for some of the non hip hoppy songs rapline are in because it wouldn't be easy
This reaction might be my new favorite. When we say BTS' music includes all the genres, we mean it and according to me Mic Drop is a genre you haven't listened from BTS yet, therefore i was excited to see your reaction to it. Also well done with the lyrics Caitlin and well done with the music analysis Andrew 🤌
I really enjoyed it, thanks for reacting it 💜
-CFA
Thank you, Irem!! It was a really fun one 😀💜
I wonder what you will say when you hear their debut song "no more dream" XD. I think you have not heard it yet
👀
☺️ your wife is a mood, she is so cool i thought shes too serious and professionally reactor when i see that shes a writer but she is also cool..you two are a vibe ❤️ always looking forward for your uploads...new subs here from Philippines 🙋 Godbless
really cool reaction! i noticed that you said this is more different than other songs you have listened to, and i can agree and i think i know why, since your style is more of a jazz and musical kind of vibe, the recommendations you've been getting from your comments and videos are songs that are more musically and vocally driven! i notice that in other reaction channels for example, if their vibe is more on rap, rap driven or hip hop songs are usually recommended to them first! but nonetheless, its really fun seeing people react to the different and beautiful sides of BTS!
Ahhh, my catalyst down the rabbit hole!😁 Good times.
Andrew and Caitlin, you gave me the giggles!😆 Caitlin with The School of Rock reference, I see you.😄
Andrew, as always dropping the musical knowledge in a way everyone can grasp. Thank you!😊
Journey on...
💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Hahaha I'm glad you enjoyed it!!
And since you enjoyed them clapping back I'm sure you guys (especially Caitlin) will enjoy the rap-lines Cyphers 1-4 and what we (ARMY) tend to refer to as the unofficial cypher 5 UGH! x')
RM was inspired by Obama’s mic drop in April 2016. So the team wrote this and then later Steve Aoki came and they remixed it 💜💜💜
That's so awesome!
Oooh, there are so many more songs you need to listen to! Loved your reaction 😊
Thank you!! I know, the list is neverending!
The Mic Drop MV is one of my absolute favorites, and their live performances with the body rolling dance break are just killer.💜
Oohh..is true! I saw Jin hitting his mic to make the sound of mic drop, at the end.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY HOBI 💛💚💙💜❤️🧡🎉🎉🎉🎊🎊🎊
So you decided to go with this one its a good choice and this song is one of the only bts songs i know of by heart in korean and english that i can sing along to also I am in love with the style especially Hobi's in this MV as he was the one that got me into wearing bucket hats
Mic Drop!! Honestly its a religious experience to listen to Mic Drop as a baby Army 😆 its so good
Watching you guys enjoy the Steve Aoki Mic Drop Remix was delightful.
Caitlin: School of Rock!! Yesss!
Great reaction!!! I hope you could watch MAMA2017's Mic Drop (Bangtan TV version) also in your freetime🙏🏻💜
Caitlin: "I''m a poet". - yes, you are!❤
You guys are seriously just feeding my soul. What you're doing is super cool, I love it and to whoever drew that masterpiece at the end - you are so, so, so talented, thank you for sharing (Discord and I are still in the warming up phase of our relationship but I can't wait to see more) ! If it's not too early for you, Happy Hope Day, everyone!🥳
You should join the Discord!! It's really fun and just a bunch of people sharing memes and emojis and talking about BTS 😂 Also we have custon emojis which are awesome 🤩
"Clapback rap"
"I'm a poet"
LOL!!!😂
I have always enjoyed your videos and that you share your knowledge regarding your musical background, but I have to admit that your wife Caitlin (sp?) is always such a joy to see. She seems absolutely amazing..more happy than I’ve ever been in my life, gives great input and has wonderful reactions.
Andrew you are so good at explaining those musical "tricks", I'm sure that's not the right word, but you know what I mean.
I wish you would do more of those! I still remember back to when you did a reaction to "ON" the MV, and you explained about how Yoongi was rapping "between the beat" it was and still is, so interesting.
the audacity to end on a bridge 🤣
You both have to react to Ddaeng along with watching DKDKTV's video where the explain the meaning behind it.
Yes. DDAENG is one of my favorites. It gets even better with the explanation.
OH my gosh, you're right about reacting to Ddaeng... I really am curious what Andrew would think of it musically!
CFA
Old bts songs are agreesive like danger, bullet proof ,and boy in luv
They sing and dance it with passion. I agree they draw you in. Love it! 💜
Looking forward to the next 💜
And as a fellow musician, I love the way you break down those small musical things you notice :)
Fun fact, JIN did the thud sound when suga drop the mic in the end.
Hahahaha The fact that I immediately recognised the "STEP OFF!" reference before the clip played! 😂😂😂
Loved seeing both your reactions to this iconic song! ☺💜
"I'M A POET!" kkkkk yass queen kkkkk
love love love when you break down the musicality of a song! Hi Caitlin! 💜
Thanks for the reaction :) Love seeing you and Caitlin ~ have a great weekend!!
This is so interesting to hear you say this is so new, but looking back you have been reccomended very vocal heavy, jazz and mix r&b songs. Bangtan are originally a very Hip hop based band, especially their earlier works. Im sure there is a list below of songs and performances for you to react too.
Also: When Sugar drops the "Fake Mic" Jin is the one who makes the sound of the mic hitting the ground. 👀
