I still just can't take my eyes off of Les during this performance... his energy commands full attention, his performance is nothing less than electrifying, and one cannot get sexier in a more decent way than his look, dress, & movement!!!!! This has to be in the Top Ten performances of all time of any band ever.

Saw them here in Wellington, New Zealand in 1976, I would have been 12 or 13. Still remember queuing up to get in amongst all of the other screaming girls ! A great concert, will never forget it, or the Bay City Rollers, my first loves. Rest In Peace, Alan, Les and Ian. Keep on rolling up there. Thanks for the music and the memories. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

They PLAY THEIR OWN INSTRUMENTS. ALWAYS HAVE.between them all they play drums, bass, acoustic & electric guitars, mandolin, saxaphone, harpsichord & piano, they all play more than 1 instrument...one heck of a lot of talent here.oh, I forgot they play violin too. (only thing missing is a tuba!)
Fantastic live performance! My first concert in '76 was the BCR when I was 12, when they toured Australia. Les and the Rollers (different members) are currently in Oz doing concerts. Woo!

Pat was in the band 1976. The BCR arrived at Haneda Airport/Tokyo, Japan 11th Dec 1976. That was their first visit to Japan. They held live show at "BUDOKAN" 14, Dec 1976. The BCR was hundreds times more popular than QUEEN and KISS in Japan. R.I.P Ian

当時BCRは名前だけなら子供から大人まで誰でも知っていましたが、ロックに興味の無い人にはクィーンの知名度はほぼゼロ、中高生のロックファンにも凄いというほどの人気ではなかったです。(男子)🙂

76年は日本中に大きく「洋楽の扉」が開いた年だと思います。中1男子だった私も特撮・アニメ・アイドルレコードからLP「ニューベスト」「青春に捧げるメロディー」に替わりました。リメンバー、サマーラブセンセーション、ラブミーライクアイラブユー、popでいい曲多かった。いま聞いても確実にイイ。かっこいいお兄さんたち、ありがとうございました!

Actually, Woody admitted in an interview that he did push Les off the stage. It must've been a bad day, because that is so not like Woody.
