I personally agree, if I absolutely NEED something you can take from room to room and remote access won't cut it is the only time I can really justify a gaming laptop for myself. Especially with Devices like the ROG Ally and Lenovo Legion Go are popular and perform pretty well now. That or a generation or two older model that is just an esports machine anyway. If I was living in a dorm, I'd rather a full sized ATX Desktop anyway so I don't have to worry about it being stolen. MY PC is made of steel and is like 65 lbs lol. Not for me, though they do have their uses.
