I'm on edge watching that again. Amazing action. Fair play to these people for thinking and executing such amazing feats.
Just knowing that this scene is real (apart from the lighting or clouds and what not) and that they're actually falling from the sky (even if it's for a movie with tons of safety protocols) makes this scene truly nerve wracking.
Only the exit and the freefall a couple of seconds after it was real. When he breaks off to the clouds, then it's all not real.
The landings definitely not real... 🤣
I love a good tracking shot.
This movie has it all, Tom Cruise running, Tom Cruise jumping, Tom cruise flying
2:36
it was at this moment that I realized how good this movie was going to be.
love the resolution transition at 2:25
HASSAAN RAUF aspect ratio bro!
Funny that the bottom part doesn’t change
HASSAAN RAUF it kind of looks like GTAV Lol. Even the way he walks.
@@jazzman7320 In computer science term, it is known as video resolution.
3:25 afraid of a little lightning?
*zap* I probably wouldn't halo jump anymore
Trevor Marshall Captain America said the same line to Loki in Avengers 1
This scene is mindblowing
Is this the famous Cavill mustache they had to CGI edit out of superman ?
Tom Cruise would have been a formidable Nathan Drake if he was born 30 years later.
this is like this same scene out of MGS snake eater at the start
g1598 yes! Both halo jumps
2:58 “Spread your wings and fly. God be with you!”
This film is amazing . Visuals and everything is just perfect .
The bit where Ethan scans Walker's face to exemplify stealing Lark's identity is actually a pretty clever bit of foreshadowing
3:20 edit point, using the lightning flash. The cloud section contains many such flashes. And then the final section down onto CGI Paris (it was actually filmed in Dubai).
"Scared of a little lightning?" - A man rendered unconscious by lightning
Thanks kino check archive for such an important video . Thanks to Tom cruise .Thanks to team mission impossible ❤️❤️👍🙏
5:00 It almost gave me a heart attack to see the ground suddenly so damn close!
I don’t care for his personal lifestyle, but damnit I can’t say I don’t admire his work ethic and respect his dedication to doing his own stunts. 👐👏👐👏
“For a brick, he flew pretty good.”
that wasn't flying, that was falling with style.
Plot Twist: Tom Cruise is actually Ethan Hunt undercover
The man has nine lives. How much longer can he take these stuntman risks? As we learned from the daring exploits of Steve Irwin, sometimes something goes terribly wrong.
Then again, Tom has lived a fuller life than just about anyone else and made a fortune doing it. You can bet that his funeral will be the only thing on television for a whole week.
Love the nod to A Few Good Men. "Is that clear" - "crystal." I remember that line vividly all these years later.
