I love this era of 3D in filmmaking where directors were like "you know, we could shove the camera anywhere if we wanted. Make it fly everywhere, all the time, for no reason whatsoever. It's on the plane. It's on the bomb! Who gives a shit, make it spin around if you want!"

I'm surprised he didn't shoved the camera up the actor's nose when they were breathing just so we see it spin and then come out, do a 360 of the cockpit and then fire a missile and the camera follows...

If they already knew they were going after warheads, command would already know about the risk of fallout. They'd have the launchers set up as a secondary target to begin with and they'd strike them regardless of the situation with the warheads. They wouldn't have aborted the mission. In fact, they'd likely take the launchers first because the anti-aircraft was located there, then mop up the warheads with gun runs so a ground unit could fly in and take the warheads.

It's Hollywood. Half the movie would have been setting up and executing a proper assault. In this case, at least they included in the plot that intel reports were incorrect about population proximity. Besides the underlying plot hole is that the nuclear war heads would not have released much radiation into a cloud without a proper detonation. The only way to recover the cores would be to repossess them. At best, an attack such as this would have simply ruined the launch capability. It would not have destroyed the nuclear material.

It was a video of a bombing run on a bridge and some guy on a motorcycle just past the point where the bomb would struck seconds later. The officer in charge of the presentation and the news crew just giggled at the guy's miraculous escape.

For basic Military knowledge. GBUs (as shown here) are NOT rocket powered and are instead free dropped and are guided by a laser from a Targeting Pod. What would make more sense would be a Maverick AGM-65 Missile.

    1. Decide to abort mission because of civilian casualties.
    2. AI Jet disobeys orders and proceeds with mission.

Correct move would have been to shoot down or otherwise disable the AI jet.
