Oh my God yes!!!! The Heavy Nu-Metal rap rock good old days! Such a bad ass incredible unappreciated band. I used to ride the school bus listening to Reveille back to back they got me through! I LOVE THIS!!!
I had a small set of speakers that I could plug into the aux jack on the side of my tape player. Made a mix tape of a bunch of songs and this was on it. I vividly remember jamming this song at the bus-stop at 7am.
If any of you guys read this.... Bald guy from Detroit still jams those tunes. I never found out what happened, but the last time I saw them they let me hang out with them on their tour bus. Im pretty sure that was their way of saying goodbye! You guys were and still are some of the best metal out there. Id pay you myself to get a reunion!
Damn I remember when my mom first showed me this song. I was like..8. And when they were at ozzfest 2000....they finished playing right when we got there... :(
I live in Harvard Massachusetts where they came from, and I had never heard of them. I have to say I'm not a fan of the genre, and I probably wouldn't even be watching this if my father hadn't been telling me that he knew the singer's father. But I congratulate them for making it (semi) big from Harvard, and so I'll return to listen to them.
@mkmike4903 well to be fair everything was shut down that day couldn't even go see a movie. They didn't want people gathering in any amount because I assume they were worried more attacks in populated areas could happen
Light em up!!!!! And oh how we fucking did. High level pits. I fucking loved these guys in little clubs. The living room in providence. The absolute best.
If u were lucky enough to catch these guys live then pat urself on the back...young as fuck with high energy, they wrote great pit music. Shit had that swing to it, made you wanna go hard!!
there is in hardcore another play style, the guitar and bass lines are different, this counts also for the drums.Reveille was my first experience with hardcore and thanks to those guys I'm still addicted to that music term anyhow, hardcore is mixture of metal and punk(you can here that on the voices) but the lines are way different and even the breakdowns are different if u listen caferefully
I agree, Genuflect is awesome, but its really hard to compare them to reveille. They are both different styles. Besides, Genuflect just recently broke up...
anyone know where I can find the actual music video for What You Got by these guys? All I can find is that anime video shit and I want the actual video. I have it on tape somewhere from a local show here in Kansas and its a bad ass video.
Does any1 know of any other Reveille sounding rap/core bands? ...Yes i do have the Genuflect CD...i liked 3rd strikes CD, Grade 8's first CD, RATM, LP's first 2 CD's, i am just searching for another decent hard rock/rap band
lol my comments got marked as Spam but i will, there are 2 of them that are live recordings and were suppose to be off their new cd fucking sweet. ill try to have them uploaded with in a few days
shuvel, darwins waiting room, presence, insolence, taproot, vanilla ice, 40 below summer, 20 dead flower children , flaw, hed pe, factory 81, one minute silence, non point, puya, skindred , switched, theres a few but i know a lot more
i saw shuvel live 3 times, i met 40 below summer and got them to sign my t-shirt, i've seen flaw, (hed) PE (twice), factory 81, one minute silence (twice), nonpoint (i've actually played a show with them before with my band swingshot), seen puya and sw1tched!!
"Nu-metal is an umbrella term" but metal is not an umbrella term? also i hate the term rapcore... i call it rapmetal, just dont like that term. And define the difference between hardcore and and metal?
This takes me back. Miss those days.

@mkmike4903 well to be fair everything was shut down that day couldn't even go see a movie. They didn't want people gathering in any amount because I assume they were worried more attacks in populated areas could happen

Likin Park aint overrated!

Sounds similar to “Bullet” by Hyro The Hero

@filth69ify1 Meh, Genuflect is a fine alternative for Revielle.

"Nu-metal is an umbrella term" but metal is not an umbrella term? also i hate the term rapcore... i call it rapmetal, just dont like that term. And define the difference between hardcore and and metal?
Cologino
ok reveille lovers! go to my page and listen to the new song
Genuflect is better, I think...
Reveille kicked so much ass it wasnt funny. Bleed the sky and laced are excellent albums. Probably the best band to ever combine rap and metal.
biohazard rip-off
Noob music!
Pour my blood upon the earth!
Lol
This was an embarrassing time for music
