I'm getting annoyed by constantly having to look at my watch while running to keep a consistent pace. If I want to do a threshold run, it's almost impossible to check the watch because that split second disrupts my running rhythm, and shaking the watch to see the data makes it worse. I think Sunglasses would be especially useful for running.
I'm in the same situation. The main part I disagreed with in this review was that as a runner not having to wrist twist is not good enough reason, is wrong, I think.
I remember when I was a product tester for EverySight many years ago. Same features as those glasses. They worked great (assuming it didn't rain) but eventually, I got sick of seeing metrics in front of me for so long.
I have the now old Garmin Varia display and I love it while cycling but its getting old so looking for alternate for then the Garmin stops working. These do look good but I am wondering if it still a little early. Garmin stopped making the Varia I only assume because they where not popular due to attaching to your glasses, but I have no problem, they do look a bit geeky though😂 so may thats why they were not popular
Hrm, sounds like a fun gadget I absolutely do not need and never will need.... but might end up getting. :) If you disregard the smart functions, how are they simply as sunglasses? Too dark/bright? Do they have polirised glass?
They're pretty good as sunglasses, but to be honest I can barely tell the difference between my oakleys and my cheap chinese pair, so perhaps I'm not the best person to ask 🤣🤣🤣
These looks cool as far as tech stuff goes, but that's a hard pass from me. My cheapo sunglasses are really good with the option to put prescription inserts in for days I don't want to wear my contacts. Just a pointer on looking at your garmin on descents. I've got the map always up on descents with 4 fields of data. The map is a big help in determining what's ahead. Plus it sometimes alerts me to sharp corners.
very expensive and you also need very expensive additional devices, which no doubt go obsolete every few years too. its ridiculous. everything should be integrated into the glasses so they just work. probably impossible but i aint buying an ipone or garmin for this gimmic. i'll stick with my £10 glasses and old free to me cateye cycle computer thanks

I wonder if these would work with prescription lenses.
I don't think so, even getting regular sports sunglasses with perscription lenses is a hassle
Can you run at night though?
