Thank you so much, that is my goal so it’s so nice to hear that it was understandable and made you want to give building a try. You should absolutely try building something. Wood working can seem like magic from the outside, like it’s something other people can do but not me, but that’s just not the case. Everyone’s first project will be a bit of a mess but also really impressive, useful, beautiful and hopefully fun and rewarding to make. Then every other project after that will be a little less of a mess and more of all of the other things. Good luck in all your future builds and thanks again for watching and for the kind comment.

Thank you so much! I’m so glad you liked it. It was a super fun build and I’m really happy with how it looks in place next to the cabinets we made to go with it. We will have a video about how we put it all together coming out pretty soon. Hope you check it out! Thanks again for watching and for the comment.

I would love to make this as a litter box that hold three litter pans pans for my five rescued kittens

That is such an interesting idea, I would have never thought of that use for this project. So glad you enjoyed the video and that it gave you the idea. Thanks for reaching out.

What an awesome thing to say, thank you so much. I will definitely keep going, and encouragement like yours makes it way easier to do so. I have no idea if I will ever make it to that level but either way I’m happy you are here on the ground floor. Thanks again for reaching out and sticking with the channel. Nice job Joey, my advice is to get some dusk masks or some good dust extraction. Keep up the great videos

That is great advice. The mask is a great idea I’ll try to do better on that front. As for dust collection goes, I’ve had some issues with trying to use my shop vac for dust collection in the past and a true dust collection system is pretty expensive, but I’m deep into research on how to make my shop vac work better then it has in the past. I’ve ordered an adapter that will allow my vacuums hose to fit onto my Dewalt tools and a new filter. They won’t fix all my problems but they will be a big improvement over nothing. I’m always open to advice though any ideas on how to improve my dust collection are greatly appreciated. Thanks for the compliment as well and I plan to keep them coming so stay tuned for that and keep an eye out for the new dust collection system.

    Nice project!! :)
You can use the rounded side of your router as wel so you don't have the corner that pulls your router away from the straight edge ;)

What a great tip. I honestly had no idea that would work but it makes perfect sense now that I hear it. Now I can’t wait to start a new project that needs them and try it out. Thanks so much for the awesome tip!

You need a track saw, Makita is the best for the money. Also, at least hook up a shop vac to your tools, wear a mask, being permanently hooked up to an oxygen machine later in life is not a good look. Nice built-in.

Agreed, I would love to have a track saw and I will definitely look into the Makita when I’m able to get one, thanks for the recommendation. A mask or respirator is a great idea and we should all be encouraged to use them more and to be as safe as possible in general, thank you for the reminder. My shop vacs hose doesn’t work with my tools currently but I am working to improve that situation. Thanks again.
